Azarian, the Forsaken Son is the final boss of The City of Seven Waters quest in Path Of Exile 2. He is tall and uses flaming flails and scythe as weapons. Azarian is the son of Halani, the Water Goddess, who guards Essence of Water. After defeating Azarian, you will find Water Goddess’ corpse.
Although this boss looks intimidating, don’t worry, his attacks are not unpredictable. Here are some tips for you. You will learn how to defeat Azarian in POE 2 from this article.
First you need to find Azarian. It is located in Keth Sanctum. In Act 2: Buried Shrines, go to the lowest level Halani Shrine below Keth, the Lost City, where you will see an enormous monster. That is Azarian, The Forsaken Son, who guards the tomb of Water Goddess.
After defeating Azarian, you will view the tomb of Water Goddess and obtain Essence of Water, a Path Of Exile 2 Item that can help you complete The City of Seven Waters quest. However, defeating this boss is not that easy.
When fighting Azarian, there is a Fire lamp in each of the four corners of the battlefield. If the fire lamps are broken, it will ignite a quarter of the ground. You need to avoid Azarian hitting them as much as possible, otherwise you will be at a disadvantage in the battle.
Azarian holds a different weapon in each hand, and it has a wide range of attacks. The combination of flaming flails and scythe makes Azarian very tricky, and you may be attacked by it whether you are close to it or not. If you don’t prepare in advance, it may be difficult to defeat it.
Being well prepared before starting the boss battle is a must for players, which will help you win more POE2 Currency in the campaign.
Equipment is of course essential. Azarian attacks always carry fire, and broken fire lamps will also cause damage to you, so you need to improve your fire resistance.
Equipment with fire resistance can help you better deal with Azarian, and they will greatly improve your defense in this battle. If you have a Regal Orb, you can use it to upgrade your equipment. In addition, a Ruby Charm can also play a big role in the battle.
Choosing ranged builds to deal with Azarian will be more advantageous. If you choose melee builds, you need to stay away from Azarian as much as possible during the battle, otherwise it will use skills to drag you to its side and cause you multiple damage.

Once the fire lamps start burning, you will be greatly restricted in the battle. Azarian will frequently move to your side to attack you, and if you want to avoid it, you have to step into the fire.
The more fire lamps are destroyed, the larger the burning area of the ground will be, and your dodge range will also be reduced. Therefore, you need to avoid Azarian destroying fire lamps as much as possible during the battle to leave more room for yourself.
You can try to pull Azarian in the battle, try to keep Azarian away from the location of fire lamps, and try to keep Azarian moving back and forth in a straight line. In this way, when it attacks, it will avoid fire lamps.
Azarian in POE 2 has 4 skills. If you are not prepared, you will be easily hit by him and hurt. Fortunately, Azarian attacks have some rules, and we can avoid them by observing and predicting his actions in advance. The following are all the skill descriptions and countermeasures of Azarian.
Azarian will quickly swing his flaming flails in a straight line. The flaming flails will cause heavy damage to you. This move has a wide range, so you need to be careful to avoid it.
Notice that Azarian will start to spin before launching the attack. Since this attack will only move in a straight line, just dodge to the sides of Azarian when he starts to spin to avoid damage.
Azarian will raise his scythe to attack. There will be a brief delay between Azarian raising his weapon and the attack being launched, so you need to seize this opportunity. Once you see Azarian start to swing the scythe, immediately dodge to the sides of Azarian.
Azarian will swing his scythe and release a fireball, which will form a wall of flames along the rolling path. This wall of flames will last for a while and block your path. If you are trapped by the flame wall, you will become passive.
When Azarian swings the scythe and prepares to cast a wall of fire, pay attention to its direction to determine where the wall of fire will be generated, and avoid the place where the barrier will be generated in time.
Azarian will throw flaming flails forward and then generate a heat wave with a beam. This heat wave will move forward quickly, and you need to retreat in time when you see the beam to buy yourself time to dodge.
In general, although Azarian’s attack is terrible, it is not impossible to counter. Throughout the battle, you need to adjust your position constantly, try to avoid fire damage flexibly and seize the opportunity to attack Azarian. Azarian’s attack range is very wide, and if you stand there stupidly, it is easy to be located by it.
In fact, many players think that fire lamps are more troublesome than Azarian, the Forsaken Son itself. You need to always pay attention to Azarian’s direction to avoid it hitting fire lamps.
The above is the complete guide for defeating Azarian, the Forsaken Son in Path Of Exile 2. I believe you can win this battle. I wish you good luck!
The Rust King is a powerful enemy you will encounter in Act 1 of Path of Exile 2. As its name suggests, this boss is covered in rusty armor. Defeating The Rust King you will get Rune Skull Cap, a POE 2 Item required to complete Secrets in the Dark quest. If you want to unlock all Runes of Power in the game, you must face this enemy.
Some friends may not know about The Rust King yet. It doesn’t matter. If you need to challenge it, you can take a look at this guide. You will learn about The Rust King’s location, attribute characteristics, attack methods, and tips for defeating it from this article.
In POE 2, The Rust King is located in Red Vale area of Act 1. You will encounter it during the main quest: Secrets in the Dark. It guards Rune Skull Cap, and you must defeat it to complete the quest.
You will see three Obelisks of Rust in Red Vale, which are strange structures that attract dark creatures in the area. You need to interact with these three Obelisks to activate them. Once all Obelisks are activated, you will find The Rust King nearby.
Now you are about to fight The Rust King. In order to better defeat him, let’s learn about the basic characteristics of this boss!
You will see that The Rust King is wearing heavy armor (even though they are rusty). As you can imagine, this boss has good resistances. The Rust King can resist physical damage and light fire damage.
The Rust King can also summon various weapons (even though they are also rusty) to attack you. The damage caused by these weapons is physical damage. You need to take this into account when preparing defensive equipment.
The Rust King has good mobility. It can quickly close the distance between you and it and continue to chase you during the battle. In order to avoid attacks from The Rust King, flexible movement is important.
The Rust King is weak from lightning, so you can try to use this to defeat it.
When preparing your gear, you need to consider the above points comprehensively. Choosing the right equipment before the battle will get you twice the result with half the effort. If you can’t find the right equipment, you can try to use Chaos Orbs to modify your equipment randomly.
Caster like Sorceress may be more advantageous in this kind of battle, and you can use skills such as Spark to attack The Rust King from a distance. In addition, carrying equipment with stun effects can also help you take more initiative in the battle.
The Rust King has four skills, namely Swipe, Lightning Barrage, Multiple Sword Summon and Ancient Ezomyte Summon. The following will introduce you to these skills and tell you how to deal with them. This will help you get more POE2 Currency in the game.
This is the most common action of The Rust King, where it will swing its arms to attack you. This action has a small damage range, so you can avoid this damage if you are far away from it.
Before launching this attack, The Rust King will raise his arms to his chest. Watch carefully, and when you see him do this, quickly back away to avoid damage.
The Rust King will raise his arms to release flashes of lightning that will damage you.
Although these lightning bolts look powerful, the signal for this skill is very obvious. The Rust King will stop moving before releasing the lightning barrage. When you see him stop, immediately dodge to a farther place.
The Rust King will summon multiple weapons above his head and have them shoot at you from all directions. This looks scary, but you won’t take much damage from being hit by a single weapon.
You need to pay attention to your position, seize the opportunity to stand between the swords, or make accurate blocks and dodges to avoid being hit by too many weapons.
The Rust King will summon an army of Ancient Ezomytes to attack you.
This is a bit troublesome. These Ancient Ezomytes do not cause much damage and are slow, but they are in large numbers. They will continue to interfere with you, and you have to fight The Rust King while avoiding these summons.
Therefore, please try to deal with these smaller enemies quickly and don’t let them disrupt your combat rhythm. While dealing with these Ancient Ezomytes, you also need to pay attention to the position of The Rust King.
Pay attention to dodge and try to avoid standing in front of The Rust King. This will help you minimize damage from the boss.
After defeating The Rust King, besides Runed Skull Cap, which is a must-have item for completing Secrets in the Dark quest, you can also get uncut gems and a random gear.
Now you have a more comprehensive understanding of The Rust King in Path of Exile 2. As long as you master the attack characteristics of this boss, it is not difficult to defeat it. So, take your weapons and enter Red Vale to start your adventure! Good luck.
Today, we'll delve into the recent class changes announced just a few days ago for the WoW Classic Season Of Discovery Phase 3. These updates promise significant boosts to the DPS of certain classes. Over the next few weeks, additional adjustments will be made to other courses. Let's explore these classes changes in hotfixes together!
The Natural Weapons talent has received a major update in Druid. Previously, this talent solely augmented physical damage, but now it extends its effect to boost all damage dealt by the Druids. Then the Gale Winds rune has been greatly adjusted, and the mana cost of Hurricane has been significantly reduced by 60%. This reduction in mana cost allows the Druids to utilize Hurricane more efficiently.
The functionality of Swiftmend talent has been enhanced. Previously, when casting Swiftmend, it would consume either a Rejuvenation or Regrowth effect on the target. However, with this update, Druids no longer need to sacrifice these 2 effects when using Swiftmend.
As for the Paladin class, there are a ton of major changes. The damage of the Seal of Righteousness can now result in critical hits. The duration of Sacred Shield rune has been extended to 60 seconds, up from 30 seconds.
The Crusader Strike now refreshes all active judgment effects on the target, extending their duration by 30 seconds. Perhaps the most notable change is that the Seal of Martyrdom can now be twisted with other seals, including Seal of Command.
This introduction of Seal Twisting Paladins in WoW Classic SOD Phase 3 is a callback to an emergent effect from the original Burning Crusade. Seal twisting, though initially considered a bug, became a popular feature among players.
The decision to allow the Seal of Martyrdom and Seal of Command to be twisted together comes with some concerns, such as mana inefficiency and the need for addons like the WeaponSwingTimer. However, recognizing its appeal to many players and its historical significance, Blizzard will monitor the performance of Retribution Paladin closely and may revert the change or make additional adjustments if necessary.
Despite the introduction of twisting, the optimal Retribution play style is not expected to change immediately because of existing interactions between runes like the Art of War, Seal of Martyrdom, and Exorcism. Larger redesigns may be needed to diversify the Retribution play style, and Blizzard is evaluating options for potential changes in Phase 3 or Phase 4.
As for our Shadow Priests out there, the Shadowform now increases all damage done by 25%, up from 15%, marking a straight-up 10% buff to Shadow Priest damage. This significant increase in damage potential offers Shadow Priests greater potency in dealing with adversaries, enhancing their abilities in both PvE and PvP encounters. Additionally, having some WoW SOD Gold on hand can be extremely helpful when you encounter challenging situations.
For Rogues, it looks like they’re trying to bring back the Sword Rogues. Saber Slash bleeds now stack up to 5 times. The damage of bleed in Saber Slash increases the impact damage done by Sinister Strike and Saber Slash by 15% per stack for the Rogue who applied the bleed. This means that with 5 stacks, you’re hitting 75% harder with Saber Slash or Sinister Strike.
Furthermore, the bleed of Saber Slash now can deal 3% of the Rogue’s attack power per damage, down from 5%. While this is a bit of a nerf, the 75% increase to your initial damage when using Saber Slash is still significant, especially considering it can now stack up to 5 times, resulting in a substantial DPS increase overall.
Shamans will find that Mental Dexterity now triggers exclusively from dealing damage with Storm Strike and Lava Lash. The duration has been extended to 30 seconds, a significant increase from the previous 10-second duration. Burn now increases the damage of Flame Shock by 100%, extends Flame Shock’s dot duration by 6 seconds, and allows Flame Shock to strike up to 5 targets, up from 3.
Developer notes that they’ve received a lot of feedback about the overall usability of Mental Dexterity, particularly for Elemental Shamans. This ability was not intended to be used by Elemental, so the adjustments made aim to ensure its usage is more enhancement-centric. To compensate, the output and usability of the Burn rune have been increased, with a slight Quality of Life (QoL) improvement as a Flame Shock duration increase.
This allows for 2 Lava Burst casts to be used within a single Flame Shock duration. However, this may not be enough to bring Elemental up to the desired level, so further tactical adjustments are planned in future class adjustment updates as needed.
At the conclusion of the post, it is mentioned that in the upcoming weeks, there are meticulous plans for further adjustments to Hunters, Mages and Warlocks in future updates. The developer highly values the feedback received since the initiation of WoW Classic Season Of Discovery Phase 3 and eagerly anticipates sharing more details about the forthcoming round of adjustments.
So keep in mind that they are still evaluating and going to be making adjustments accordingly. But all in all, some class updates we discuss are very promising. I'm sure you may be excited about the Seal Twisting Paladin, and the DPS increase to Shadow Priests. Hope you can try it out and enjoy a good gaming experience.
Fallout 76 is an enduring adventure game, and developers continue to inject updates and new content into the game in an effort to keep it fresh. As they keep the game alive, new players continue to enter the vast world of Fallout 76. So, here we want to share 8 key tips to help players get familiar with the game and better enjoy their journey to Appalachia.
The most important tip is to treat the game like you’re playing Fallout 4. It’s better to just focus on completing the mission while avoiding multiplayer events until at least the major mission is completed.
Many public events are ending quests for main and side quest chains, and you must eventually complete them, but if you complete them before completing those quest chains, you will end up breaking your own quest line.
Another reason is that many multiplayer events tend to offer very generous Fallout 76 Bottle Caps and materials as rewards, which are easily better than what you’ll get from missions. If you participate in too many public events, you can easily become disappointed with the main quest rewards.
You can go back and complete quest lines after completing multiplayer events, but they do lose their charm. Therefore, it is best to avoid participating in daily operations, public events, and expeditions until you have completed your primary tasks. Otherwise, you’ll regret starting these multiplayer events too early after they become all that the late game has to offer.
Remember, you can only be a new player once. So before jumping into the multiplayer features, take the time to explore and understand the in-game story.
Also, don’t forget to enable Pacifist Mode after reaching level 5, as this will prevent anyone from PVP you and prevent you from accidentally starting PVP.
In Fallout 76, you can also find Watchtowers, and climbing to the top unlocks surrounding locations. Then, if you’re close enough, you can place them on your map and unlock them for future fast travel.
Note that enemies usually defend these towers, so be prepared to deal with some enemies. But with a little caution and stealth, you should be able to defeat even high-level enemies.
Once you climb the tower, you’ll see a number of new entries on the map. You still need to travel to them in person to fully unlock them for fast travel, and your map will now show these locations.
Additionally, joining a group will give you a stat bonus, depending on the type of group you join. If you are part of a group of four, the maximum is +3. Different groups provide different stat types, including:
Any other groups, such as Daily Ops Team, are for multiplayer events, so don’t join them yet. They are designed for higher-level players and group play.
Becoming a group member does not require you to do anything with any other players. You can simply join a group and run your business like a single-player game, but get some free stat points. So why not?
As we all know, you can fast travel to any location you’ve unlocked by paying a certain amount of Bottle Caps. Traveling to locations on the other side of the map can be expensive, though, and early caps can be scarce. But there are some locations that you can quickly travel to for free, no matter where you start from.
The first is your camp. You can always get to the campsite for free. This applies not only to your main camp, but to any inactive camps you may have. Not only that, but you can travel to any camps belonging to your teammates for free.
Besides camp, there are also some fixed locations that can be quickly traveled to for free, and Vault 76 at the beginning of the game is one of them. It allows you to travel to the forested area on the west side of the map. Rusty Pick will take you to Ash Heap to the south. Whitespring Resort and Foundation will give you access to the southern part of the map at any time.
You can use these locations as waypoints to make your fast travel even cheaper. It’s important to note that the faction headquarters requires you to be friendly with the faction, otherwise you may be attacked when you arrive.
Speaking of caps, early caps can be hard to come by. You can get it by looting locations and selling weapons and junk. But you can actually farm caps with minimal effort, it’s just farming crops.
Once you plant a crop, it will provide you with regular harvests. You don’t need to water them or take care of them in any way, and they will continue to give you regular harvests as long as enemies don’t shoot them.
If you also equip Green Thumb perk before harvesting, your harvest will be doubled. You can use these crops to make soups and teas to feed yourself. Alternatively, you can sell raw vegetables to NPC vendors in exchange for caps.
It’s not the most profitable way to make money, but it is an easy, reliable source of money that requires minor work. Basically, once you decide on a location for your camp, you should plant some crops.
What’s special about Fallout 76 is the use of level scaling on enemies. So as you level up, your enemies will also level up. This means they will be harder to kill as you play.
But as you explore, you’ll find missions that give you unique weapons to help you cope. But just as important as having an excellent weapon is using damage bonuses to enhance those weapons.
Typically, you have three levels of damage buffing perks: Basic, Expert, and Master. Each can be upgraded to three tiers, and if you upgrade them all, you’ll spend 9 perk points to gain an additional 60% damage.
Even gaining one level of each perk will give you 30% extra damage while only costing 3 perk points. That 30% extra damage is considerable, especially for some weapons that can deal a lot of damage.
Early radiation will be painful because you won’t have enough RadAway to throw around. On top of that, any food you eat and any water you collect will give you radiation. So as you play, radiation stacks up easily.
But there is a trick to eliminate radiation in the early game, which is to drink Brahmin Milk. Every glass of milk you drink eliminates 25 radiation.
The best place to find Brahmin Milk is in Flatwoods. There should be about 5 or 6 Brahmin between the building and the creek on the west side of town. Not every Brahmin will offer milk, but you should get at least 3 or 4 every time you come over. This is also the easiest way to reduce radiation early in the game.
Later, as you explore, you’ll find enough RadAways, especially since you can also use Pharmacist perk to maximize the effects of RadAways. But remember early on that you can drink Brahmin Milk as a cheap and effective way to get rid of radiation.
Note that early on, your stats and perk cards are randomized, and it’s easy to look like making the wrong choice has permanent consequences. But that’s not actually the case.
You can change the applied perk cards at any time, the only limit is which cards you can use. Once you reach level 25, you can freely change your special stats using punch cards at the train station or your camp.
After level 50, each upgrade lets you choose a card. You can still open perk packs every 5 levels, but in addition, you can choose your perks as you level up.
So if you don’t get good cards from the pack, or you think you made a mistake in your build, don’t worry, nothing lasts forever. The game doesn’t lock you into a certain build in any way. Once you reach level 50, you can customize your build to suit your needs.
Those are some tips you need to know when entering Fallout 76. By following this guide, you will have a better gaming experience effortlessly. Have a nice day.
In the Path of Exile 3.24 Necropolis League, a 6-link refers to a weapon or body armor with 6 linked sockets, allowing you to support a skill gem with 5 support gems. The damage potential from this setup is multiplicative, meaning each additional support gem significantly amplifies the damage output, sometimes by over 50%. So how can we get them in SSF? Let's explore these approaches together!
First, let's talk about divination cards. Divination cards are rewards from either random or specific monsters. The most common ones typically give you some POE Currency, but there are specific divination cards that offer 6-link items as a reward. You can also influence the drop chance of divination cards using scarabs. In particular, the Divination Scarab is very effective for this.
Examples of these divination cards that are quite common include the Porcupine for a 6-linked Short Bow, The Chains that Bind or the Dapper Prodigy for a 6-link armor, The Emperor of Purity for a 6-link Holy Chainmail, or Imperial Legacy for a 6-linked Imperial Bow.
Head over to where the divination cards drop. For example, The Chains that Bind only drops in dungeons like the Cage, Cells, Dungeon, Penance, Shavronne's Tower, the Control Blocks, and the Slave Pens. You can kill monsters in these areas, and they have a chance to drop the Chains that Bind. Collect them, and then you have your 6-link armor.
For the next method, let's break down the process step by step. Firstly, we'll focus on acquiring Tainted Orbs of Fusing, which drop from Beyond Demons and can also be obtained from Tainted Currency applied to maps in the Necropolis League.
While these orbs are rare, they become more accessible with increased focus on the Beyond content within the Map Device and Atlas tree. It can either add or remove a link on the corrupted item. This mechanic is crucial for the strategy, as we'll use it in conjunction with bench crafting to create a 6-link corrupted item.
In the Solo Self-Found (SSF), you may come across a valuable but relatively common unique item, such as a Heretic's Veil, which is frequently utilized in various bow builds. To acquire this item, run an Alva Temple to double corrupt it, or simply use a Vaal Orb to corrupt it and hope for a favorable implicit modifier. Assuming you succeed in obtaining a decently corrupted unique item, the next goal is to 6-link it.
The next method I'm going to talk about is quite straightforward. In your hideout, you'll have access to a crafting bench. Once you've found the 6-link recipe, which can drop somewhere in Act 8, you can turn 6 sockets into 6-link sockets.
If you don't have the recipe for all crafts you're missing, you can simply scroll down on the crafting bench, and it will tell you where that craft is. The recipe for 6-linking an item costs about 1,500 Orbs of Fusing, but at least it's a certain method.
There's a technique that allows you to guarantee a 6-link result using just one Orb of Fusing with the Omen of Connections. The Omen of Connections is quite rare, and it seems to drop from monsters, making it an exclusive reward obtained from engaging in the Ritual mechanic. During Rituals, you may occasionally receive the Omen of Connections as a reward.
Place it in your inventory and travel to a fresh zone to ensure that no other Omens have been triggered, as they can only activate once per zone. With this Omen in your inventory, use an Orb of Fusing on the desired item to guarantee the maximum number of links. It's crucial to ensure that the item in question either already has 6 sockets or has the potential to reach 6 links.
In the Path of Exile 3.24, you can capture beasts, go to the Menagerie, offer beasts at the Blood Altar, and craft all sorts of gear and fixes. This batch introduced a new Beast to the game: the Black Morgan, who was previously a boss in other leagues. The Black Morrigan doesn't normally spawn, but only appears in the map if you use a specific Scarab, the Bestiary Scarab of the Shadowed Crow.
This Scarab is fairly rare, but you can use the Atlas strategy to get more scarabs and block the ones that you don't want. What you need to do is run a map with Einhar, make sure that he's actually in the map with the Bestiary Scarab of the Shadowed Crow, and also with the Bestiary Scarab of Duplicating so that when you capture the Black Morrigan, you can get 2 copies for crafting.
Then you head to the Menagerie, and the Blood Altar is giving you a recipe to craft a 6-link item. Any item with 6 sockets can be 6-linked using this, as long as the item isn't corrupted. This is a truly amazing way to 6-link armor and weapons, including unique ones in Solo Self-Found (SSF).
In this guide, we’ll cover 5 rune farming tips in Elden Ring. These tips can help beginners master the basics of rune farming and make them more familiar with the rune farming methods of the land.
Since there isn’t a rune farming tutorial in the game, hopefully, this will give you an idea of some simple rune farming strategies to get you started by giving you some handy information to help you farm runes more easily. This way, your character will quickly become powerful and ready for Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, which launches on June 21st this year.
I want to preface this section by saying that some players consider rune farming or exploiting glitches or exploits to get runes quickly to be cheating, and you shouldn’t do it.
However, I think anyone who plays the game has the right to decide how they enjoy it. This includes rune farming strategies, using exploits in the game, and even purchasing Elden Ring Runes from third-party sellers. No one has the right to tell you how to have fun.
One of the easiest places to farm runes in Elden Ring is Gatefront Ruins. Gatefront Ruins is located in Limgrave, just north of Church of Elleh. It’s filled with relatively easy-to-kill enemies, and with a little more strategy and caution, you can make a tidy profit here.
I’ll show you the route I took on the outside to get you the most bang for your buck. While I’m at it, I’d like to point out that there are a few things to pick up here, the first of which is Limgrave West Map. You can find it in a large stone steel in the center of Gatefront Ruins, which is guarded by several Godrick Soldiers.
Another item you can pick up is Whetstone Knife, which allows you to equip and change Ash of War on your weapon. It’s in a chest south of Ruins. You can also get Ash of War Storm Stomp from here.
You can also pick up two weapons, Lordsworn’s Greatsword and Flail. However, you can find other options from the enemies there.
The primary goal here is to kill as many enemies as quickly as possible and then reset them by resting at Sites of Grace. As long as you want to get ahead on some of your attributes, you can do that as often as you want.
I will mention that before thinking about increasing damage stats like Strength or Dexterity, I always recommend increasing your Vigor stat to 20 or 25 for increased survivability.
Another decent rune farming area is located in Caelid. To get there, you’ll need torrents, and you’ll need to start at Sites of Grace, just north of Agheel Lake. You then need to head south across the bridge and then northeast to Mistwood Outskirts Sites of Grace.
You can open the map and view Glintstone on the map. You can pick up the map if you want, but be aware that there are 3 giant Runebears nearby, and they may kill you if provoked.
You can also go around them, pick up the map, and go east to Third Church of Marika. Activate Sites of Grace, grab Flask of Wondrous Physick, Sacred Tear, and Crimson Crystal Tear, go through the hole in the wall on the northwest side of the church, and head to the back of the church.
You will then be transported to a distant place in Caelid, known as Bestial Sanctum. Be careful to avoid the huge Black Blade Kindred Creature here and continue heading south. Next, cross the bridge to Lenne’s Rise and capture Sites of Grace.
Our major goal is to farm the enemy here, Silver Sphere. There are two spawning sites just west of Lenne’s Rise, one close to it and the other a little further on the road to the west.
Each Silver Sphere will grant you 1,952 runes. You then continue to Sites of Grace and rest to reset enemies and rinse and repeat.
The third rune farming strategy I want to talk about is Dragon. This strategy is suitable for novice to intermediate players.
First, you need a weapon that causes blood loss. The most accessible and available to any class without stat investment is Morning Star. It can be found in a chest inside a broken carriage a little south of Limgrave.
Next, you’ll reach Lenne’s Rise using the strategy I mentioned above. Then head to the back of Lenne’s Rise via torrent. Go to Spiritspring and collect Golden Runes near the coffin.
Then head southwest down the hill and directly south to Fort Faroth to activate Sites of Grace. The target you want to kill is a dragon named Greyoll. If you get in the right spot, not only will nothing attack you, but you’ll also be able to kill the dragon.
If you are a Scholar or a class with a Strength below 12, you will need to use Morning Star with two hands. Get on the torrent and run towards the dragon, attack with Morning Star to trigger the blood and repeat until there is only a little health left.
Next, this is where you make your decision. Either you can kill the dragon and get about 50,000 runes in one go. Or you can use a glitch to farm the dragon repeatedly, essentially giving you infinite runes.
If you want to exploit this, get on Torrent while it has a little health left, but aim Torrent next to Greyoll so you can still hit her. If you do it correctly, you’ll gain 50,000 runes, and Greyoll will still be alive. If you do it wrong, then she disappears. You get the rune, and you get 5 Dragon Hearts.
The fourth rune farming strategy I want to talk about is Albunaurics and Birds. This rune farming strategy is suitable for intermediate to advanced players.
Albunaurics and Bird I’m talking about are both located in Mohgwyn Palace. The nearest Sites of Grace is Palace Approach Ledge Road. You need to either reach Consecrated Snowfield or complete Varre questline to reach Mohgwyn Palace.
Next choose Albunaurics or Bird. If you choose Albunaurics on the slopes, then you can attack them all at once or in large groups using your maximum range weapons or magic. Sacred Relic Sword excels in this regard. On your first playthrough, you can get around 70,00 runes per run, or 150,000 runes if you use Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot.
If you choose Bird, face the edge of the cliff, equip a bow, switch to first-person mode and shoot him to attract him and lure him off the cliff. On your first playthrough, you’ll get around 11,000 runes per run, or 26,896 runes if you use Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot. This is also by far the most efficient and fastest way to farm runes in Elden Ring.
Which brings me to the last strategy for farming runes, which is collecting Golden Runes. This strategy is suitable for beginners to experienced players. It depends on which Golden Runes you get from which coffins.
Golden Runes can be found in several locations across the land, but the most important way to find them is to look for cemeteries with coffins or sarcophagi inside. Every place with these will have Golden Runes, so keep your eyes open when exploring. There are quite a few of them, and the best part is that you can collect them as you go through torrents.
That’s it for today’s guide. I hope these tips help you farm as many runes as possible to get your character ready for the expansion coming in June!
Hi, players! Prepare for an exciting new Rogue in the upcoming Season 4 of Diablo 4. Despite it still with the Rapid Fire, it incorporates a unique ring that completely alters its effects, thanks to the addition known as the Scoundrel's Kiss. This brings about significant gameplay differences.
However, when facing bosses, we need the Scoundrel's Kiss unique ring. With a sufficient amount of Diablo 4 Gold, you can seamlessly utilize this build and enjoy a fantastic gaming experience.
The Scoundrel's Kiss offers several benefits: increased critical strike chance, additional ranks to Rapid Fire, and cooldown reduction for imbuement. However, running this unique ring may slow down the game, as it is most beneficial during boss fights. The Rapid Fire shoots exploding arrows that deal with exponentially increased damage, enhancing its effectiveness, especially in terms of AOE damage.
However, when facing bosses, a critical adjustment is needed: achieving a point-blank range. This necessity gave rise to the exploding shotgun build. The altered mechanics mean that the arrows tend to arc towards targets. Consequently, failing to position within the designated area leads to complete misses, resulting in diminished DPS. This is why it's dubbed the Scoundrel's Kiss.
So as far as the skills, we choose the Puncture, so that's just going to deal with the ability to apply vulnerability to the target if our Exploit Glyph wears off. Most of the time, you can kill everything in Diablo 4 within a few seconds. Then we are running the Dark Shroud. This is going to give you extra survivability and give you extra crit or movement speed.
And then we are running Dash. This is going to proc our Cutthroat because we are going to be going back to Close Quarters like in Season 2 because it's just as much better. The Shadow Step also activates our Cutthroat skill for our Close Quarters. In terms of basic skills, if you really want to run Cutthroat, that's totally fine too.
The Caltrops skill is kind of optional. It just allows us to get a quick little damage multiplier onto the enemies, and then it will also apply the Chill effect because we're going to be in melee range. It can be used most of the time if you want to maximize DPS.
If you prefer to run the Precision, that's perfectly acceptable. Your next skill activation occurs after either critting twice or reaching the required stacks, which means it's not always active. So, if your critical hit chance is around 20%, then opting for crit damage would be more beneficial in this scenario.
When it comes to gear, both the Disobedience and Juggernauts are important aspects. However, for lower tier content, running just one of them will suffice. However, in order to reach the new monster level cap, you need to run both, or have high armor.
For the Tempering, you can get a chance for Rapid Fire to double or you get damage to Crowd Control, which is easy to just throw on all of your pieces of gear, and it's going to give you way more value than getting your Precision. As far as the crit goes, you can actually get 100% crit in this Rogue build. So you may want to get crit in your gloves, your amulet, as well as in your rings.
In terms of gloves, we're only using the Aspect of Arrow Storms. Not only are these great for open world content, but they can also do a significant amount of damage in other scenarios. And then we're running the Umbrous Aspect. This will give us free dark shrouds when we crit with our Marksman skills.
Then we're also running the Mangler's Aspect. This will apply a daze to the enemies, and while the enemy is actually dazed, they can get knocked down, and then that's going to give us additional crit. That's something that actually got buffed in Season 3. And then we are also running the Repeating Aspect, so more of these Rapid Fire explosions for our shotgun.
And then as far as the other aspects, we're running the Edgemaster's Aspect in our amulet, just gives us some more damage. We also have the Inner Sight, which got buffed. And then we are running the Accelerating Aspect for some more attack speed.
Finally, as for the paragon board of this build, it's actually very similar to the Flurry Rapid Fire, except we don't scale the Stun Grenades. So, on the starter board, we are going to be getting Ranger, and then we are going to be going up to get Exploit Weakness and Control, and then we're going to be getting the Turf glyph.
And then Tricks of the Trade with Combat, that will give us extra resource. Then, we will have the Cheap Shot, which is physical damage, increases the damage an enemy takes from you. It doesn't change the element, so if you got bonus damage to non-fist, then you could still throw in imbuement if you want to.
In fact, you could throw on poison and get the additional poison imbuement. The reason is that these new Pit bosses, when you start going higher in the tier. So you need to one-shot him before the boss one-shots you.
Greetings fellow exiles! I’m finally back in Necropolis League with my super tank build. This is one of the most powerful builds in the game and can clear new Tier 17 maps and Uber Bosses with ease. This is Ephemeral Edge Molten Strike Trickster!
In this guide, we’ll focus on the gameplay of this build and how to obtain and upgrade the gear it requires. Let’s get straight to it.
Our skill of choice is Molten Strike. When you hit an enemy, it will spray Rolling Magma, and if you slow down the projectiles, all Magma Orbs can hit the same target.
We scale the projectile count to 5 and start scaling the energy shield. For this reason, we will use Ephemeral Edge with Resolute Technique corruptions. The easiest way to get this is to spend POE Currency to buy non-corrupted ones, then vaal yourself or double corrupt your weapon until you hit this.
Note that it’s not worth the price tag of 10 Divine Orbs or more, as players demand it a lot. It saves money to do it yourself.
Since our main damage type is lightning, we can use Voice of the Storm unique Amulet to get even more damage in this build.
Lightning Damage with Non-Critical Strikes is Lucky, which means that every time we deal damage to an enemy, the game rolls twice and chooses the higher number. This is very useful when your damage range is very high, especially since the damage range of our lightning build is very large compared to other builds.
Because of Voice of the Storm Amulet, we can’t scale critical hits, so we can use a very interesting Keystone Passive, Precise Technique. If Accuracy Rating is higher than Maximum Life, attack damage is increased by 40% in exchange for us being unable to deal with critical hits. Because we use Chaos Inoculation, our max life is 1, and this Keystone will take effect with zero effort.
I really like this build because we can scale damage with layers of defense. Where does the nearly 13k energy shield come from? Let’s start with the biggest source.
Because we selected Trickster, we have access to Escape Artist Ascendancy node. Equipped body armor has +1 maximum energy shield for every 6 Evasion Rating. We need to use a hybrid body armor base to benefit more from it.
In addition, we also need very high evasion and energy shield roll on the body armor. On this build I rolled 2.2k evasion and 490 energy shield. It’s worth noting that this chest armor alone gives us almost 5k of energy shield.
We also stacked Intelligence for more energy shields, reaching over 1.1k, which is pretty impressive.
We can use 3 curses in this build because using my favorite Anathema unique Ring, our curse limit is equal to our maximum energy cost. Each character can have 3 charges, so our curse limit is 3.
All 3 curses I use include Elemental Weakness, Conductivity and Sniper’s Mark.
Many people are worried that this unique Ring will not work if there is no power charge in the build. But actually, according to the wording of the ring, you don’t need to generate them, so don’t worry about that.
Additionally, Aspect of the Crab is also crucial in this build. This will give us Crab Barriers every half second, and each crab stack will reduce physical damage, so this aura alone will reduce physical damage by 20%. But please note that when we are attacked, we will lose all stack.
In Necropolis League, we get level 30 Aspect of the Crab, which adds two extra max stacks, so we’ll get 24% physical damage reduction. I know for some of you it may not be a vast difference, but it’s better than nothing.
To combat the disadvantages of this aura, we will use our very high intelligence to convert the evasion rating with an evasion and energy shield mastery. So we can free up an aura because we won’t be using Grace.
Next, I wanted to do something new with this build. As you can see, we use 4 flasks so that we can easily sustain ourselves even during boss fights.
We achieve this via Traitor Keystone, which will provide 4 flask charges every 5 seconds per empty flask slot. Additionally, I’m using Searing Exarch implicit modifiers to generate 1 flask charge every 3 seconds.
We get all the good Flask-related nodes on the passive tree and from now on we have 100% uptime. This is very cool. Because this way we can solve resistance problems and get more damage in the build.
Our key recovery comes from an energy shield leech. Doing this alone isn’t very good, as you’ll stop leeching when you reach full energy shield. But since we chose Trickster as Ascendancy, we can access an interesting node, Soul Drinker.
This allows us to leech the energy shield without the leech effect being eliminated if our energy shield is maxed out. This means that if we can hit the target, we can stay stationary on almost anything.
For Tier 17 and Uber endgame you need Elemental Ailment Immunity, so we use Ancestral Vision. Additionally, Modifiers to Chance to Suppress Spell Damage also apply to Chance to Avoid Elemental Ailments, for half its value. We also get the remaining avoid% from boots.
Next, let’s move on to the gear you’ll need for this build.
For weapons, we chose Ephemeral Edge. First and most important, attacks with this weapon increase the maximum lightning damage by 20% of the maximum energy shield, while also giving us a large amount of energy shield.
Then there’s Voice of the Storm Amulet. Lightning Damage with Non-Critical Strikes is Lucky. We are also anointing on this Arcane Focus.
The most important thing is Anathema unique Ring. With this ring we can use 3 curses in our build. It also gives us intelligence and a bit of energy shield.
I made most of the other rare items in this build myself, so it’s hard to estimate the cost, but it’s not expensive at all. But in short, you need to quality up all the items around 28% if possible, and get bases with fractured intelligence tier 1 mod.
Flasks are a very important part of this build, so if you make a mistake here, you’ll end up with worse results than you’ve seen before.
I use Bismuth Flask with increased effect and additional elemental resistance. You can get higher reduction duration when you craft this flask, but be sure to check the uptime of PoB flask as it requires 100% uptime.
Next up is Ruby Flask with reduced charge and crafted to avoid being stunned.
Our damage flask is Silver Flask, which will give us Onslaught. Now I’m using the increased effect on this one, but if you only want to use this build for bossing, then you’ll need the flask charge recovery rate for better uptime.
Finally, don’t forget to use the Taste of Hate unique flask, which will give us a huge damage reduction in physical attacks.
Finally, I just want to highlight a few things required for this Molten Strike Trickster build in the passive tree.
Through Necropolis League, we got a new unique jewel, which is Perandus Pact. We get 45% energy shield from this jewel.
The most important thing is the flask effect duration. We need 4 so that our flask can have 100% uptime. All that’s left is spell suppression, which I know can be expensive, but is worth the investment.
Since we have Trickster as Ascendancy, Polymath will give us more damage with each mastery allocated.
The most important node is Escape Artist, which is our main defense layer.
Next is Soul Drinker node. This will give us Energy Shield Over-leech, where we can leech from the damage we deal.
The last node is Spellbreaker. This will help us cap our suppression. If we’re in full energy shield mode, we’ll take less damage from spell damage.
Anyway, that’s the end of this guide. I hope you enjoyed this build of Energy Shield stacking Trickster. Good luck!
