Although FFXIV has gone through a long journey of 14 years and is loved by many players. The excellent combat system and graphics, including the rich and colorful story content, have always been loved by players, and we are constantly innovating and striving to make the game more diversified and social. But I still have a few suggestions for FFXIV. These suggestions should make it even better.
Doing this can encourage ordinary players to improve their strength and adapt to the current level of raids. When everyone’s skill level increases, they can usher in higher-level raids. This not only improves the level of all players but also promotes the development of the game. All in all, it is to increase the overall difficulty to achieve progress.
Savage raids are a very important way to play in Final Fantasy XIV, and they are also an important way to gain equipment. It has a certain degree of difficulty and requires relatively high teamwork. However, because it is only open at fixed times every week, many players always miss the time to gain gears, or fail to gather the number of people to form a team. This will create a gap between you and the other players. And the weekly lock will result in an extremely small amount of equipment, which is very painful for players. But if you can open Savage raids to play at various times, and adjust the drop rate of equipment. This will foster relationships between the team and provide more opportunities to acquire more FFXIV Gil and gear. Players will enjoy Savage raids, not suffer from them.
Island Sanctuary was not present from the beginning of the game but was added to Endwalker later. Island Sanctuary is like a black dot on a white paper. The contrast is very obvious and attracts many players at once. In a world full of battles, there is such a unique style of existence, allowing players to have a place to relax when they are tired. I think Island Sanctuary is an excellent idea, but the gameplay inside is limited. Over time, players will become bored. My suggestion is to add activities to Island Sanctuary, which can be made by comparing party games, such as Animal Crossing and Party Animals. Enhance Island Sanctuary activities to increase fun and social interaction.
Glamor has been loved by many players since its launch. Everyone wants to look more handsome and cool, so more and more people are investing more and more resources in Glamor. However, the 20 glamour plate limit prevents many players from crafting more outfits as they wish, and players cannot develop multiple styles. If the upper limit of the glamour plate is raised, it will stimulate more creativity among players and provide more available outfits to more players. In this way, the beauty needs of players can be satisfied.
Buying a house in the game is really a wonderful experience that no one wants to miss. Although the houses range from small to large, the apartments are only small, and we hope to add medium and large apartments. This increases the choice of room types and meets the needs of more house decorations. Everyone hopes to have a territory of their own. Of course, different people have different requirements, even in the game.
Gold Saucer is an entertainment venue in FFXIV that contains many competitions and activities, such as the Leap of Faith, Cactpot, and Triple Triad. I’ve always really enjoyed these games. Gold Saucer is like a collection of mini-games independent of FFXIV. But the maps included in the Leap of Faith, Cactpot, and Triple Triad are really limited. Players will get bored quickly. I hope Final Fantasy XIV can add some new maps to make this section more fresh and interesting. Players don’t have to play on the same map every day. It feels like chewing gum that they have been chewing for a long time.
Because Final Fantasy XIV players are all over the world, but all over the world. FFXIV has data centers in multiple locations around the world. But if players from different regions use party finder or want to play together, both players must be transferred to the same data center. Due to network delays in different regions, such interactions will become unsmooth. The gaming experience is very poor. In this regard, we can learn from a region-wide party finder used by Dawntrail. In this way, the matched players will all be in the same data center, making interaction and communication smoother. No need to perform cross-region operations.
The above are the improvements I can give to the current Final Fantasy XIV. I believe that many players, like me, will have the same feelings about these aspects when playing the game. Their needs for personality building, overall difficulty, and equipment acquisition are not met. Every section of FFXIV is interesting, but each section needs to be updated in time. This is a vast project and one that players are looking forward to.
After Diablo 4 devs investigated the feedback from players after PTR ended, they seem to have a new direction for the development of Season 4. Recently, the specific name of Season 4 has been revealed, namely “Loot Reborn”, which is based on fire and the forge, and Iron Wolves seems to be the specific theme of this season.
So what is “Iron Wolves”? It is a combat company composed of experienced mercenaries, specially created to destroy invading demons. From the PTR, we have seen how it actually performs in battle. Are you ready to fight alongside them?
As usual, Diablo 4 Season 4 has also added some new quests and mechanics for players to explore for great loot, such as gold, Igneous Core or other Uniques. What may surprise players is that devs previously promised it would bring players an earth-shaking experience in Season 4. From the exposure of the season name, we can see their emphasis on loot. Therefore, before the start of S4, players can learn more practical items farming ways, leveling tips or review the past and learn the new based on previous seasons experiences.
After the previous Seasons 1, 2 and 3, it was clear that none of those seasons went beyond the Seasonal Realm, let alone left anything worth playing in Eternal Realm.
Although the overall number of dropped items has decreased, the quality has improved. It greatly saves us time in organizing items and allows us to enjoy the game itself more.
Devs reduced the affixes for legendary items to three, and the affixes for rare items to two. Although the affixes were reduced, they became more effective. And, they have increased the overall value of these affixes, and every item has become more valuable. Every time we gain an item, we will become stronger.
Although the amount of gold consumed is at its highest when players re-roll items, the amount of materials you need to perform all forging activities at BlackSmith is now much smaller than before, which can reduce a lot of unnecessary expenses. In this way, you can get more powerful item support in the subsequent journey.
Next is the rarity of the items you receive will be affected by the level of the world you take part in. You can only gain sacred items and higher-level items in World Tier III. Ancestral items will only appear in World Tier IV. If you want to get those Legendary items with 925 Item Power, you must defeat enemies with level over 95.
Finally, all Uniques will appear in World Tier III, while some Uniques will only appear in World Tier I and II. And Uber Uniques will appear at max Item Power level when you kill a level 55 monster.
The new version of Codex of Power will bring fresh changes. First, you have unlimited use of Legendary Aspects you stored in Codex of Power when you salvage Legendary items. Legendary items salvage at the Blacksmith have great power and can upgrade your Legendary Aspects. After you enter Diablo 4 at the first time when Season 4 is released, some of your legacy aspect items will automatically be converted to a certain level in Codex of Power. By the way, your warehouse space will still allow you to load the same shares as before items, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to fit them into your small warehouse when you get better loot.
It contains many Aspects, and you can choose the direction you like to improve. And when you reach the highest level in some Aspects, the system will remind you that you have reached your goal.
Codex of Power will have new features, namely search, filtering and collection of Aspects. When selecting a power for imprinting in Occultist, your equipped power will be displayed via an icon and tooltip. These powers will be automatically saved to the Eternal Realm in the Seasonal Realm when the season is about to end. If these two same powers both exist in Eternal Realm and Seasonal Realm, the system would choose the higher one.
As the name suggests, Tempering Manuals are used to upgrade the quality of the equipment, which are divided into 6 categories.
Each Tempering Manual contains several optional affixes. You can easily find Tempering Manuals throughout the game. Once you find the Tempering Manuals, just add the right affixes to equipments to strengthen them and your combat power. But, before you Temper an item, you have to focus on its Tempering Durability.
Affixes given to equipment in the manual in Seasonal Realm will last until the end of the season, but affixes given to equipment in the Eternal Realm will be permanent.
Use all the materials you have worked so hard to get from those terrible mines and caverns into weapons, exploit their potential to the limit, and then you will have a greater chance of winning when facing future raids or missions.
The specific function of Masterworking is to increase the strength of all affixes on the equipment, and every 4th tier, it would improve the random affixes in the equipment. Affixes will turn blue after receiving the first reward, then yellow and then orange. But, if you want to make Affixes turn yellow, you may have to put in 10 times more effort than turning them blue. Similarly, if you want to make them change from yellow to orange, it is even more difficult. When you Masterwork an item and it has reached its limit, if you are still not satisfied with its performance at that time, the system also gives you the opportunity to reset the item.
However, I think most players are not willing to reset the top-notch weapons they have worked so hard to upgrade. So, this is a ridiculous permission. But I also think that for those old players who have the courage to return to Diablo 4, they can use the Masterworking mechanism to reset all their items and give themselves a chance to start over.
For those players who are lucky enough to get Ancestral Legendary and Unique Items, don’t just sit there and be happy. If you look closely at these precious things, there may be Greater Affixes on them. This thing is 1.5 times stronger than normal affixes. But I guess no one would be that careless. After all, when you get those items, the system will also give you a different audio prompt, and there will also be a special icon in your inventory to remind you that you have become a Lucky dog.
For those who haven’t obtained Greater Affixes through Ancestral Legendary and Unique Items, don’t be discouraged. After all, each Greater Affix is born in different ways. Because every Affix on the item has a chance to become a Greater Affixes in World Tier III and IV. Only one thing to note is that it is wishful thinking to want to turn an ordinary Affix into a Greater Affix by Enchant. lol!
In Season 4, it would be easier, streamlined and more effective.
In addition, devs also added Diamonds' Resistance values.
In general, the various upgrades made in Diablo 4 Season 4 are all considering players. The devs are making subtractions for this game, simplifying the Codex of Power and Gems mechanisms, optimizing various Affixes and Masterworking. While enriching the gameplay, it takes into account the feelings of returning players and new players, and perfectly fits the season theme of “Loot Reborn”. I wish everyone who starts Season 4 good luck.
In Gold Road, Elder Scrolls Online introduces some noteworthy changes, mostly related to items acquired through Trader System and listing and expiration timers for gold. In this guide, we’ll summarize these changes and share some thoughts on how they impact traders and the in-game economy.
If you are a new or just returning ESO player and are not aware of the changes regarding Update 42 Gold Road that have been tested on Public Test Server, and you also enjoy participating in ESO trading scene in any capacity, then you will definitely want to know the following Change.
When you previously listed an item in Guild Stores, the item would remain in the store for up to 30 days. During these 30 days, players who visit Guild Stores have the opportunity to purchase your items.
If 30 days have passed since you originally listed the item and no one has purchased your item, the item will be removed from Guild Stores and returned to you via mail. You will then have 30 days to retrieve the item from the mail or it will be gone forever.
The same goes for buying and selling items. If you bought or sold items through Guild Trader System, you have 30 days to claim ESO Gold you bought or sold the items for, or they are gone forever.
However, the developers made some major tweaks in Update 42, changing the process I just summarized. In Gold Road update, the active period of Guild Trader listings will be reduced from 30 days to 14 days. This means your items will remain in Guild Store for up to 14 days. Later, if you fail to sell it, it will be returned to you via the in-game mail system.
Additionally, it will also return your items to you if your listing expires. Alternatively, if you successfully sell or buy an item, the coins or item will only remain in your mailbox for 14 days instead of the original 30 days before disappearing completely and no longer being claimable.
The developers said in PTS patch notes that changes to Mail expiration timers and Guild Trader listings timers were made purely to improve server performance by reducing the pressure on the database in the forum post.
Community Manager Kevin elaborated on this further, stating that their data shows that the vast majority of items listed on Guild Trader tend to sell within a week. If an item doesn’t sell within that time period, it rarely sells at all. Because most items that haven’t been purchased by anyone after 14 days tend to not be purchased by anyone after 30 days.
The developers feel that the 30-day listing period is a bit unnecessarily long. So they might argue that the items aren’t going to sell anyway, so why bother making the listing period so long, especially if it puts an unnecessary strain on the database? Therefore, they will reduce the listing timer from 30 days to 14 days.
So what impact will these changes have? Why should traders care about these new changes?
The most obvious thing to note is that players must consider these changes if they plan to be absent from the game for an extended period. If you list an item and then are away from the game for more than 28 days and the item does not sell. It will permanently disappear from Guild Stores after 14 days and then expire in your mailbox another 14 days later.
Or, if you cancel the listing of an item without claiming it, and then it is removed from the shelves for more than 14 days, the item will also disappear.
If you successfully sell an item but cannot claim the gold earned from the sale because you were out of the game for more than 14 days since the sale, the gold will also be gone forever.
Now you know what I mean, traders have to pay more attention to the time they spend away from the game to make sure they don’t lose any items or gold. This change may also encourage players to think more about their item lists.
Keep in mind that every time you list an item on Guild Trader, you have to pay a small fee. Therefore, it is in your best interest to be able to sell the item during a designated period of time so that you do not have to sell the same item at another time and pay another fee.
While the developers say their data supports the idea that most items sell within seven days, it’s important to consider the fact that many rarer or more expensive items often take longer than seven or even 14 days to sell.
Expensive Furniture plans or rare Outfit Style Pages, for example, don’t come on sale very often, and they won’t always be in high demand, but when they do, they usually sell for an impressive gold price.
This trading strategy of selling high-value, low-quantity items resonates with the play style or trading preferences of quite a few players. If these players wish to sell such items in a shorter period of time, they must pay more attention to their listing prices to avoid paying large relisting fees.
Perhaps we might even see traders listing their valuable items at lower prices than they would normally list. This way, they can better guarantee sales in a shorter period of time (14 days) instead of the 30 days they are used to.
There are also some players who may give up using Guild Trader System entirely. Because for some big-ticket items, it usually takes more than 14 days to sell. And these players often choose to advertise their items in regional chat to avoid exorbitant relisting fees.
Some players may also decide to remove all item listings from Guild Stores. Because they know they will be gone for a while and there is no guarantee they will claim any gold from the sales they make before the 14 day expiration timer expires.
So will these expiration timer changes have any significant or lasting impact on the in-game economy, especially for high-value items that often take a while to sell? It’s actually hard to say.
But one thing is for sure, for those players who like to sell, these changes will definitely reduce their quality of life. Since these rarer and more expensive items won’t be snapped up like materials, players will also be affected if they prefer to dump items into Guild Stores and then forget about them for a while or take a break from the game.
Given the shorter validity period, all traders must be more diligent and proactive in retrieving items or gold before it disappears.
Kevin said the developer remains open to feedback on the changes. But I wouldn’t be surprised if the proposed expiration timer changes are finally finalized and made it to the live server in the next update.
So be prepared and consider how they impact how you trade in the future, and hopefully the performance trade-off is worth the quality-of-life downgrade these changes will cause some players.
Overall, I want to make sure these new changes are well known so that when someone loses gold or items in the void, they aren’t left in the dark and get an unpleasant. What do you think of this change? What impact will it have on you? See you next time!
Greetings, fellow Exiles! Allow me to introduce you to an exciting build in Path of Exile 3.24 - the Summon Reaper Juggernaut. The Summon Reaper spell brings forth a formidable minion, and the recommendation lies with the Reaper of Eviscerating variant.
Among ascendancy classes, the Juggernaut offers notable advantages in durability, standing as one of the sturdiest options available. Let's take a closer look at this build!
The Reaper of Eviscerating is designed to serve as the primary damage dealer in any minion-oriented build, significantly impacting and consuming other summoned minions. With a base 50% chance to inflict bleeding, amplified to 95% with 20% gem quality and a Vulnerability curse on enemies, the Reaper proves formidable.
While the build stands as one of the sturdiest options available, its slow clear speed may prove frustrating for some. Nonetheless, its single-target damage output remains commendable, with bleeds lasting for 6 seconds, and the encouragement to attack frequently to roll superior bleeds via Volatility Support.
To ensure your build's effectiveness, it's crucial to acquire specific unique and rare items that cost some POE Currency. We suggest prioritizing unique items for most slots, reserving only the ring for a rare piece. Rarity considerations heavily influence your choice, particularly for the ring and jewels, including Cluster Jewels.
Place your 3 most costly mana-reserving skills in the Devouring Diadem. This setup switches your energy shield to apply to mana, a vital aspect for casting skills effectively. Then, utilize 2 Cold Iron Points, along with a Level 21 Summon Reaper awakened and Level 5 Minion Damage Support gems. To reach gem Level 30, incorporate a corrupted unique body armor.
Combine the Fourth Vow with Divine Flesh and Unbreakable for optimal defense against elemental and physical damage. The Fourth Vow requires high chaos resistance, so consider corrupting it with a +2 to socketed minion gems modifier. The Tempest Rising amplifies your minions' damage against stationary targets, enhancing overall effectiveness.
Address bleed Vulnerability by utilizing items like Asenath's Gentle Touch gloves to curse opponents with temporal chains and cause them to explode on death. Aim to become bleed immune, either through specific item affixes or Watcher's Eye modifiers. Extend your curse limit with amulet anointment for added flexibility.
Equip at least 5 Ghastly Abyss Jewels, leveraging the Darkness Enthroned belt for additional Abyss sockets. These jewels can significantly enhance your build's power, particularly when socketed strategically. Cluster Jewels offer valuable support gems, providing considerable benefits to your build's performance.
Prioritize defensive layers such as armor, maximum life, and resistances across your gear. Seek out items that offer chaos resistance, elemental resistances, and maximum life to bolster survivability. Consider modifiers that enhance minion damage and provide increased durability.
Focus on optimizing Mana Reservation Efficiency for skills, particularly through Abyss and Large Cluster Jewels. Allocate passive nodes to enhance minion damage, attribute bonuses, and resistance bonuses. Utilize rare items to supplement attribute requirements and maximize gem levels for key skills.
The Progenesis proves highly effective in mitigating significant hits, particularly when paired with substantial life recovery, so I highly recommend acquiring one if you utilize Defiance of Destiny. In addition to Progenesis, consider obtaining Granite, Basal Silver, and Sulphur or Quicksilver Flasks.
Opt for suffixes that bolster your armor, diminish the effects of shock and curses, and provide life regeneration. To round out your flask setup, include a life flask equipped with poison or bleed removal if you have yet to achieve immunity to bleeding.
For the Summon Reaper of Eviscerating, constant manual command is necessary, but its damage output is remarkable. With high accuracy and a 95% chance of causing bleeding when coupled with Vulnerability, it proves formidable. Link it with Minion Damage, Brutality, Deadly Ailments, Melee Physical Damage, and Swift Affliction Support, and if available, Uul-Netol's Vow with Volatility Support.
Gems socketed in the Devouring Diadem include determination for additional armor, pride to amplify enemies' physical damage taken, and Skitterbots to chill and shock nearby opponents, bolstering your damage. Link these auras with Enlightened Support. Additionally, socketing Vulnerability in your Profane Proxy increases the likelihood of bleeding and physical damage inflicted on enemies.
Allies within the Malevolence's range benefit from increased damage over time and skill effect duration. Link it with Divine Blessing Support and Generosity Support gems for enhanced potency. Immortal call reduces elemental and physical damage taken, consuming endurance charges for extended duration and damage reduction.
The Enduring Cry generates endurance charges, regenerates life, and enhance their effectiveness, while Whirling Blades enables faster movement. Link it with Faster Attacks Support and Momentum Support for increased attack speed.
Skeletons serve to support your Reaper, possessing excellent base cast speed and summoning multiple units simultaneously. Aspect of the Spider debuffs nearby enemies, hindering them and amplifying the damage they receive. While less crucial, it's a mana-reserving skill that complements your build's effectiveness.
Killing all the bandits in Act 2 is the best way to deal with them. The Soul of Arakaali reduces damage over time taken. The build is durable enough against hits, but Damage over Time can still be a problem. The Soul of Gruthkul is one of the best minor gods. It reduces physical damage taken per hit taken. Alternatively, choose the Soul of Abberath to reduce the ignite duration on you.
Move on to the passive skill tree, select a lot of maximum life and Mana Reservation Efficiency. Armor, minion damage, Elemental resistances, and endurance charges are of considerable value. For keystones, go for Divine Shield and maybe Resolute Technique if you don't want to miss with Whirling Blades.
For masteries, get 30% of mana cost shifted to life and +50 to maximum life as 2 Life Masteries. 12% increased Mana Reservation Efficiency as the Mana Mastery. Minions increased the Area of Effect (AOE) as Minion Offense Mastery. And 10% of physical damage from hits taken as chaos damage, that's armor and Energy Shield Mastery.
Today, we'll delve into the recent class changes announced just a few days ago for the WoW Classic Season Of Discovery Phase 3. These updates promise significant boosts to the DPS of certain classes. Over the next few weeks, additional adjustments will be made to other courses. Let's explore these classes changes in hotfixes together!
The Natural Weapons talent has received a major update in Druid. Previously, this talent solely augmented physical damage, but now it extends its effect to boost all damage dealt by the Druids. Then the Gale Winds rune has been greatly adjusted, and the mana cost of Hurricane has been significantly reduced by 60%. This reduction in mana cost allows the Druids to utilize Hurricane more efficiently.
The functionality of Swiftmend talent has been enhanced. Previously, when casting Swiftmend, it would consume either a Rejuvenation or Regrowth effect on the target. However, with this update, Druids no longer need to sacrifice these 2 effects when using Swiftmend.
As for the Paladin class, there are a ton of major changes. The damage of the Seal of Righteousness can now result in critical hits. The duration of Sacred Shield rune has been extended to 60 seconds, up from 30 seconds.
The Crusader Strike now refreshes all active judgment effects on the target, extending their duration by 30 seconds. Perhaps the most notable change is that the Seal of Martyrdom can now be twisted with other seals, including Seal of Command.
This introduction of Seal Twisting Paladins in WoW Classic SOD Phase 3 is a callback to an emergent effect from the original Burning Crusade. Seal twisting, though initially considered a bug, became a popular feature among players.
The decision to allow the Seal of Martyrdom and Seal of Command to be twisted together comes with some concerns, such as mana inefficiency and the need for addons like the WeaponSwingTimer. However, recognizing its appeal to many players and its historical significance, Blizzard will monitor the performance of Retribution Paladin closely and may revert the change or make additional adjustments if necessary.
Despite the introduction of twisting, the optimal Retribution play style is not expected to change immediately because of existing interactions between runes like the Art of War, Seal of Martyrdom, and Exorcism. Larger redesigns may be needed to diversify the Retribution play style, and Blizzard is evaluating options for potential changes in Phase 3 or Phase 4.
As for our Shadow Priests out there, the Shadowform now increases all damage done by 25%, up from 15%, marking a straight-up 10% buff to Shadow Priest damage. This significant increase in damage potential offers Shadow Priests greater potency in dealing with adversaries, enhancing their abilities in both PvE and PvP encounters. Additionally, having some WoW SOD Gold on hand can be extremely helpful when you encounter challenging situations.
For Rogues, it looks like they’re trying to bring back the Sword Rogues. Saber Slash bleeds now stack up to 5 times. The damage of bleed in Saber Slash increases the impact damage done by Sinister Strike and Saber Slash by 15% per stack for the Rogue who applied the bleed. This means that with 5 stacks, you’re hitting 75% harder with Saber Slash or Sinister Strike.
Furthermore, the bleed of Saber Slash now can deal 3% of the Rogue’s attack power per damage, down from 5%. While this is a bit of a nerf, the 75% increase to your initial damage when using Saber Slash is still significant, especially considering it can now stack up to 5 times, resulting in a substantial DPS increase overall.
Shamans will find that Mental Dexterity now triggers exclusively from dealing damage with Storm Strike and Lava Lash. The duration has been extended to 30 seconds, a significant increase from the previous 10-second duration. Burn now increases the damage of Flame Shock by 100%, extends Flame Shock’s dot duration by 6 seconds, and allows Flame Shock to strike up to 5 targets, up from 3.
Developer notes that they’ve received a lot of feedback about the overall usability of Mental Dexterity, particularly for Elemental Shamans. This ability was not intended to be used by Elemental, so the adjustments made aim to ensure its usage is more enhancement-centric. To compensate, the output and usability of the Burn rune have been increased, with a slight Quality of Life (QoL) improvement as a Flame Shock duration increase.
This allows for 2 Lava Burst casts to be used within a single Flame Shock duration. However, this may not be enough to bring Elemental up to the desired level, so further tactical adjustments are planned in future class adjustment updates as needed.
At the conclusion of the post, it is mentioned that in the upcoming weeks, there are meticulous plans for further adjustments to Hunters, Mages and Warlocks in future updates. The developer highly values the feedback received since the initiation of WoW Classic Season Of Discovery Phase 3 and eagerly anticipates sharing more details about the forthcoming round of adjustments.
So keep in mind that they are still evaluating and going to be making adjustments accordingly. But all in all, some class updates we discuss are very promising. I'm sure you may be excited about the Seal Twisting Paladin, and the DPS increase to Shadow Priests. Hope you can try it out and enjoy a good gaming experience.
Join me today as we explore the world of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, discovering the 5 Arcane builds that will bring excitement and dominance to the Lands Between. This guide has something to offer for both experienced Sorcerers and those new to the Arcane. From devastating spell combinations to awe-inspiring magical weapons, these build will strike fear into your enemies.
The first build features the Ripple Crescent Halberd, a rare drop obtainable from the Albinaurics in Liurnia of the Lakes. It boasts S Tier scaling in Arcane, making it unique. What's remarkable about this weapon is its versatility in applying various status effects with any grease, thanks to its high arcane scaling. Even without grease, it deals with substantial physical damage.
For the build, the Rippled Crescent Halberd is the centerpiece. Additional components include the Dragon Communication Seal for buffs, granting an extra 35% physical damage and 15% damage negation from the Flame, Grant Me Strength, and Golden Vow.
The Spear Talisman and Rotten Wing Sword Insignia are essential, with flexibility in slot number 3. The recommended options are the Ritual Shield Talisman or the Shard of Alexander for maximizing Spinning Slash. To complement the build, the Flask of Wondrous Physick should include the Thorny Cracked Tear and the Greenburst Crystal Tear for successive attacks and additional stamina.
The next is an Arcane build utilizes dual daggers, focusing on the Reduvia weapon alongside the Occult Great Knife to leverage additional blood loss effects. This setup helps alleviate the need for constant spamming of the Ashes of War ability.
This build excels at swiftly dispatching bosses, even those immune to bleeding, because of its high attack speed and respectable physical damage output. Talismans are incorporated to enhance the proc attack power of Ashes of War and provide damage mitigation.
Here’s a breakdown of the essential gear: Reduvia and Occult Great Knife, Dragon Communion Seal, synergize well with Arcane and the White Mask. Then we also need Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman or Green Turtle Talisman for extra stamina, Lord of Blood’s Exultation and Shard of Alexander.
For flask, opt for Thorny Cracked Tear and Greenburst Crystal Tear. Similar to the previous build, the utilization of Flame, Grant Me Strength, and Golden Vow buffs enhances physical damage output.
The next build focuses on utilizing one of the most underrated status effects to swiftly damage your enemies. This build centers on the use of Ashes of War and Poison Moth Flight. By triggering boosts from the Mushroom Crown and Rose’s Kindred, you can achieve a substantial damage increase with the 2 weapons utilized in this setup.
Here's a breakdown of the essential gear: Poison Uchigatana, Coil Shield (for fast Poison procs), Serpentbone Blade (for additional Poison buildup) and Dragon Communion Seal. Mushroom Crown (provides a damage boost when Poison is active), then we need Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, Kindred of Rot’s Exultation and Shard of Alexander.
For flask usage, opt for Thorny Cracked Tear and Greenburst Crystal Tear. Buffs such as Flame, Grant Me Strength, and Golden Vow enhance physical damage output and complement the build's on poisoning enemies for maximum effectiveness.
The next build centers on Varre's Bouquet, a weapon that can cause significant bleeding if your enemy is susceptible to it. However, adding Frost Grease may be advisable for an extra 20% damage boost when triggering Frost buildup alongside blood loss. You have the flexibility to use any grease on this weapon to build up status effects like Blood and Frost.
For this build, you'll need Varre's Bouquet, along with the Dragon Communion Seal for Flame, Grant Me Strength and Golden Vow. The White Mask provides a boost to bleed proc attack power, while the Lord of Blood’s Exultation, Axe Talisman, Dagger Talisman, and Shard of Alexander complement the build.
To complement the build's with heavy charged R2 attacks, use the Stonebarb Cracked Tear and Thorny Cracked Tear flasks to break your opponent's stance and execute critical strikes effectively.
The final build we have features the Regalia Of Eochaid. It's an Arcane build that relies purely on Dexterity and Arcane, with the weapon scaling equally in both attributes, although it leans slightly more towards the Arcane side. While we primarily focus on the Ashes of War, if you have 2 Regalias or another straight sword, the Dual Straight Sword move set can also be incredibly effective.
The Ashes of War can offer flexibility in combat strategies. Knowing when to fully charge it for maximum damage or to opt for quick bursts of damage is crucial. A fully charged Ashes of War can devastate bosses. Using the Dragon Claw to slam enemies to the ground allows for charging up the Eochaid's Dancing Blade to unleash unparalleled damage upon their recovery.
For this build, you'll need the Regalia Of Eochaid, the Dragon Communion Seal, and suitable armor providing over 51 Poise to withstand hits while charging the Ashes of War. Additional gear includes the Shard of Alexander, Dragon Crest Great Shield Talisman, the Godfrey Icon, and the Rotten Wing Sword Insignia.
For the Flask of Wondrous Physick, utilize the Stonebarb Cracked Tear and the Dexterity-knot Crystal Tear to complement the weapon's dexterity scaling. Buffs include Flame, Grant Me Strength, Golden Vow, and any Dragon Communion Incantations of your choice, with Dragonmaw being a personal preference.
As we all know, a new phase of WoW Classic Season of Discovery is just approaching and will release within 2 days. Today, I’m here to provide you with a closer look at some of the important adjustments planned for the highly anticipated Phase 3, which you might not yet be aware of. Let’s dive right in!
If you thought the Phase 3 announcement was a little too fast, you're not the only one. Blizzard knows that they usually would like to give us 2 weeks' notice. It is a bit frustrating, though for a lot of players to not be able to have the announcement early enough to have enough preparation.
Although there is not much time left to make adequate preparations, you can still obtain as many WoW SOD Gold as possible before this new phase in Season of Discovery.
These updates include feral Druids receiving a new helmet enchant resembling a Wolfshead Helm. This enchant grants you 20 energy every time you shift into form, augmenting the power-shifting play style, particularly beneficial for Cat Form users.
There's a potential addition of Catnip in the next phase, boosting attack speed by 30% for 30 seconds, likely obtained as a consumable in the new PVP or Emerald Dream zone. These enhancements are significant for Feral Druids, catering to their needs and play style adjustments.
Hunters might obtain the Core Hound pet, possibly becoming a favored choice with its anticipated Flame Breath ability, potentially useful in PVP scenarios. Stay tuned for these exciting developments.
There's other blaring issues, something like class tuning. In particular, something like Shaman's being ridiculously powerful now. Blizzard has taken notice of these overly powerful classes, but will also say that towards the end of a phase, we probably won't be seeing class tuning going on because you usually will have them focus their development time on basically working on the next phase.
You may have noticed some runes sharing the same slot, have interesting wordings like the Gore rune for Feral Druids. It says that a last rate swipe or Maul will reset the cooldown of Mangle, but the last rate and Mangle are on the exact same rune slot. And this is something that Blizzard is also obviously aware of, but apparently it's a tricky fix. It's something they are trying to find a solution to.
But you might also notice that some runes don't actually give you DPS increases. It actually takes 855 seconds on average for the Gore rune to proc, giving you the same energy as a single power shift, especially now with the Helm enchant. So that makes this rune quite literally one of the weakest runes of all time.
And now, just caution players to temper your expectations in the next phase. We are definitely seeing some runes seem super overpowered and some seem kind of afterthought. I think if we are vocal enough with Blizzard, they will take a look at these runes that are very much underperforming, and potentially the ones that are very much over performing.
There's a little confusion about the Blood Moon event and the new currency called Massacre Coins. If you will be able to actually use the new currency for the mount, so if you want to buy yourself a mount, but don't worry, you can actually trade the new currency down at a 1:1 ratio for the silver used before.
So you'll definitely be able to get any of the old items from the Blood Moon event at the same pace. You don't have to worry about completely hoarding all of your current currency. You could use them to gain honor really quickly right at the beginning of the next phase to try to actually hit the highest ranks and get your entire PVP set within the first week.
Shamans are amazing AOE healers, but Paladins bringing kings out scaled that towards the end. But it was really that humans had Sword weapon skill that made them so powerful in WoW Classic. At Level 60, every race will have a way to pick 2 separate weapon skills that will give you +5 weapon skill. That means that the racial of weapon skill are completely useless for both Horde and Alliance.
The only racial that is effective within PvE is going to literally just be having an increase in your attack power from the Orc racial or having an increase in your attack speed from the Troll racial. Meaning that Horde, in the aspect of racial, has a significant advantage, basically an entire extra trinket than Alliance does. So if you’re going to be trying to parse or if you’re going to be trying to speed run Horde versus Alliance.
Actually pointing out that the rep bonus for being a human, you actually get 10% more reputation for being a human, will save you a huge amount of time in the long run. As well as humans have been the undisputed kings of melee for all of WoW Classic.
It suggests that it’s somewhat acceptable for other classes or races to receive attention in the Season of Discovery, particularly because it’s a seasonal realm and not an everlasting one. Hopefully, this will diversify the gameplay. Nonetheless, it also implies that only Orcs and Trolls have racial that effectively boost DPS in PvE.
I’ve been playing Last Epoch consistently since its release and have spent hundreds of hours in the game. Therefore, I have also put together some tips and tricks to make our gaming experience better.
Even experienced players can make some mistakes, so check out this guide before you start to make your adventure a smoother one! Without any further delay, let’s get straight into the action.
Auto cast is especially useful for builds that have skills on cooldown that you want to recast as soon as they become available. An example here is Void Knight’s Devouring Orb ability. If your character is strong enough, you can also use this feature to a semi-AFK farm in the arena.
To activate auto-cast, you must assign the ability button you want to auto-cast to one of the numeric keys on your keyboard.
For example, here I’ve assigned a secondary button to number pad three to keep my usual button mapping intact. Next, press and hold the ability button on the number pad. Then click Num Lock to disable it.
If you want to disable auto-cast, you can simply turn on Num Lock and press the ability button again.
You can put points into multiple Mastery Trees so that you are not forced into Passive Tree of your own mastery. Therefore, you can actually unlock and use almost all active skills from other masteries as well.
The exceptions here are unique mastery skills, such as Storm Totem for Shaman or Werebear Form for Druid. These unique skills are locked to specific masteries, but everything else is fair game.
If you want to teleport to another location, you usually need to hold down the left mouse button and click the “travel” icon at the bottom of the screen, which wastes not only Last Epoch Gold but also time.
Instead, you simply right-click on a node and your character will instantly teleport to the selected location. This works both in the world map and in Monolith.
This tip is related to the crafting system in Last Epoch.
Sometimes you remove dropped items from an existing configuration that are of no use to you. The item will have some unwanted stats or not be the type of item you are looking for. But you may need to add it in the future. This is where these two runes come in: Rune of Removal and Rune of Shattering!
By the way, affixes are the stats on the lower part of the item. For example, high-level skill affixes are not that common drops and are very important for endgame builds. So you might want to extract them from items.
Most players will use Rune of Shattering to destroy items and obtain shards, which is the easiest way. But the problem is that this process does not guarantee that you will get all the shards.
As the rune’s description states: Shattering creates a random number of shards. This means you may not get the affix shards you really want.
To avoid losing potential shards, you can use Rune of Removal on the item. This rune removes one random affix at a time. So you may actually need up to four attempts to get the affix shards you want. You’re better off using Rune of Removal when you really want a specific affix or there are fewer than four affixes on the item.
Of course, the best thing about this process are the two affixes items that give you a 50% chance of getting the shards you crave.
Do you often skip nodes in Monolith because they only bring you a measly amount of XP? Note, however, that the effects of Tomes of Experience increase as you get higher in level.
At around level 75, my character gets about 1% level XP from each tome, so I get 3% from all three tomes. This is not cause for concern.
But when I run node, my Warlock is level 94 on Empowered Monolith, has 140 corruptions, and I’m getting about 7% more XP from all three Tomes. That’s a huge amount of XP for this level!
Also, have you ever really looked at XP and favor rewards you gain in a faction? Each Tome will give you about 500 favor, which means you can get 1500 favor for each Quest Echo.
Anyway, plus everything you get from running the map. This may not seem like much, but it will quickly earn you a lot of favor! Also, you can use Tomes of Experience to quickly level up your skills after respec.
Besides, Arena nodes are also an excellent source of XP for you to level up for the endgame.
I’ve done some testing and on average Arena gives a better XP percentage than the usual Monolith Echoes. Monster density is also a big factor here. You don’t have to hunt around for mobs.
Of course, some arena maps are better than others, but on average, all maps are very good for your XP gain. So if you need to level up quickly to meet the requirements for certain items, be sure to clear the arena to get to your goal faster.
During Early Access, you can test your damage on dummies in End of Time Zone. But after patch 1.0, the dummy here no longer exists.
So if you’re like me, you’re probably confused as to where this dummy went. You can actually find dummies in Champion’s Gate settlement. The gate is in exactly the same location as the entrance to the arena.
We used to have to manually find the entrance to each dungeon, so finding the dungeon you’re looking for can take some time and effort. But there is actually an easier way.
You can right-click on a Dungeon or Arena Key to open the map and focus on the entrance to that specific area. This tip can make your life easier.
You can avoid arena nodes in Monolith. There are two ways to check if a node is an arena. First, you can left-click on a node to see the name of the map. If it were, it would say Arena. Alternatively, you can hover over a node to see if it offers normal or less stability.
This assumes you’ve cleared Echo objective and summoned the portal, but maybe you saw a chest or shrine and want to continue exploring the map. But you might worry that backtracking to that portal will waste a lot of time.
This is where the “T” button comes into play. Once the portal is open, you can press the “T” key to re-summon it at your location at any time, saving yourself a lot of trouble.
These are my top 10 tips to make your life easier in Last Epoch. What do you think of these tips? Do you know of any other exciting tips? Please share it! See you next time!
Welcome to this new build guide of Last Epoch 1.0. Today, I’m excited to introduce a new Mage Spellblade known as the king of Shatter Strike. This build can successfully progress from Level 1 to Level 92, aiming for 300 corruption. It now boasts the capability to face tank bosses and Shades of Orobyss with ease. So let's just dive in!
Enchant Weapon: Upon activation, your character becomes stronger, attacks faster, and experiences a significant increase in damage output. To optimize its use, start by acquiring Frostbrand and Overloaded. Frostbrand enhances Mana management by providing a free attack with Enchant Weapon.
Next, prioritize longer duration, melee elemental damage, attack speed, and cleanse ailments. Obtain Frozen Sparks for additional damage boost and allocate the remaining points into Efficacy.
Flame Rush: Flame Rush provides damage reduction, enhancing survivability, while also granting frenzy for increased attack speed and ward generation. Its versatility allows conversion to cold damage, ensuring synergy with other skills. When utilizing Flame Rush, prioritize damage reduction first, followed by acquiring frenzy, speed, and range. Consider converting it to a cold skill for added utility, despite its primary role not being damage-focused.
Flame Ward: Flame Ward serves as one of your defensive abilities, functioning in its standard form. Begin by prioritizing the Astonish node, allowing automatic triggering when stunned. This makes it basically an automatic skill.
Ensuring Flame ward triggers automatically upon impact, signaled by an audible ding. Proceed to invest in Barrier and Prismatic Buffer for damage reduction. Conclude by allocating the remaining points into Dilation for extended duration.
Firebrand: Firebrand serves as the foundational skill for this build, essentially spammed in rotation with Shatter Strike. The sequence involves alternating between Firebrand and Shatter Strike while maneuvering. Enchant Weapon is reserved for moments requiring additional damage output.
To optimize Firebrand, prioritize acquiring the Illuminating Fire node for enhanced Shatter Strike potency. This ensures either a guaranteed crit or close to a guaranteed speed crit, significantly boosting damage. Invest in nodes that grant extra stacks per hit, reducing the number of required Firebrand attacks. Focus on maximizing attack speed. Any remaining points can be allocated towards bolstering survivability.
Shatter Strike: Begin by prioritizing the acquisition of area, Cold Penetration and critical multiplier nodes. These enhancements ensure nearly guaranteed critical strikes when paired with Firebrand, significantly amplifying damage output. Next, focus on obtaining damage and multiplicative damage nodes to facilitate swift clears, particularly noticeable against high health enemies.
Proceed to secure global cold damage and freeze rate multiplier, alongside additional multiplicative damage nodes, further augmenting damage potential. Finally, configure Shatter Strike to auto-cast with each use, resulting in double clicks and seamless execution. These skill optimizations are key components of the build's effectiveness.
Let's dive into the passive tree. In the base Mage tree, we start with 33 points. We allocate 6 into Scholar and 8 into Arcanist. While prioritizing increased attack speed, you can adjust points to prioritize Mana and life if needed. To enhance our ward generation, we invest in Reactive Ward, Warden, and Silver Rune, crucial for sustaining survivability with 8 to 10,000 ward generation.
Sorcerer remains untouched. However, if Mana becomes an issue, consider investing in Mana Shell and Wisdom for support. Transitioning to Runemaster, we invest 8 points into Sphere of Protection, significantly boosting life and damage reduction, pivotal in fortifying our defenses.
Turning to Spellblade, we distribute 6 points into Elemental, focusing on amplifying damage with Frozen Steel and Infused Weapons, while also bolstering survivability through Arcane Shielding. You want to take as much attack speed and ward as possible. Integrating Mana Reaver aids in maintaining Mana sustain.
As Dual Wielding is the chosen approach, we focus on maximizing our potential with Prismic Blade and Blade Weaver. Blade Weaver synergizes seamlessly with Enchant Weapon and Firebrand, culminating in devastating Shatter Strike hits, evident in the staggering damage output. To round it off, we allocate the remaining 10 points into Mental Fortitude, augmenting intelligence and the ward for additional resilience.
One notable aspect of this build is its low life configuration, a first since the Last Epoch 1.0. To achieve this, we incorporate Exsanguinous, Last Steps of the Living, and Eternal Gauntlets for health. It's worth noting that the Eternal Gauntlets gloves are exclusive to Exiled Mages.
We also incorporate the Shard of the Shattered Lance into our setup. This unique item provides a 20% multiplicative damage boost along with a 20% increase in movement speed. Its exceptional cold-related stats make it a highly desirable choice, and its availability makes it easily obtainable.
The build's current performance is optimized with low life mechanics. Since this setup isn't mandatory, you can decide which items you need based on your Last Epoch Gold reserves. The other gear choices are as follows:
Now, let's discuss blessings. We prioritize survivability by focusing on void resistance, Mana, crit avoidance, armor, and physical resistance. While these blessings provide a solid foundation, adjustments can be made based on the affixes present on your gear. However, this is the current setup that I really recommend:
As for idols, we choose 1 Grand Glass Idol, 3 Ornate Glass Idols, 2 Stout Lagonian Idols and 2 Small Lagonian Idols. Our selection now includes idols providing Mana, cold damage, Elemental melee cold damage, as well as life and Mana. While this setup may seem basic, its aesthetic appeal is undeniable.
The Jester’s Festival, an annual ESO celebration of the unpredictable and amusing, invites participants to engage in a variety of quests involving pranks and jokes across Tamriel.
This guide will explore the latest updates for 2024, along with insights on event participation and strategies to optimize your experience.
Similar to other annual events held in tents, the 100% XP buff that used to require consuming pie every 2 hours is now passive. This eliminates the need to constantly refresh for bonus XP.
During this year’s event quests, you can earn joke outfit style pages, specifically the Jester Seeker suit.
Additionally, the Impressario will offer all three fragments for the Molag Bal Illusion Imp Pet and the Planemeld’s Master Markings. This event marks your last chance of the quarter to acquire these fragments. While we anticipate their return for the New Life Festival, it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.
To start, obtain the event starter either from the Crown Store for free or by visiting any of the Jester Festival tents situated in Daggerfall (in Glenumbra), Vulkhel Guard (in Auridon), or Ebonheart (in Stonefalls).
At each festival tent, you’ll receive a quest from the Jester Royals, engaging you in pranks and mischief. Jester Queen Ayrenn tasks you with completing “Springtime Flare,” where you sprinkle flowers on stuffy academics in designated locations.
Jester King Emeric assigns “Royal Rivalry,” allowing your pyrotechnic skills to shine as you gather ingredients for fireworks and set them off within the city.
For “A Noble Guest” from Jester King Jorunn, you must rescue the poor king’s lost betrothed. Borrow apples and lure the princess back to her love in the Argonian District of Ebonheart.
Additionally, near any Jester’s tent, you’ll find two extra quests. “Getting the Band Together,” given by Samuel Gourone, has you recruiting a ragtag band of dry for a concert. Visit three locations to collect wine and recruit them. In Mephala’s Nest Delve, recruit either a Scamp or a Wing Twilight, while in An’Old Delve, choose between an Ogrim or a Harvester. The danger that appears on your stage upon completion depends on your choice.
The second bonus quest, “A Foe Most Porcine,” involves fighting King Boar in Stormhaven. During the fight, "the King’s Spoils” quest offers additional rewards of Mudcrab Cider based on the number of apples collected. Before entering the arena, don’t forget to pick up the quest from Rozette the Rapscallion.
Lastly, visit Soars in Laughter near any festival tent for “Prankster’s Carnival.” Use her prank kit to play fun tricks on her friends in the spirit of the season.
However, we have some helpful tips and tricks to enhance your efficiency during the event.
Firstly, to maximize loot, consider completing the entire series of quests daily on all characters. However, be mindful as it may lead to burnout, especially if you have multiple characters. Take it easy on yourself and pace accordingly.
Regarding the “A Noble Guest” quest, if you aim to achieve the Princess Rescuer accolade, guide Princess the Pig back to Jester King Jorunn at the Jester Camp south of Ebonheart without getting caught by her owner.
If you have incurred a bounty from stealing apples, ensure you clear it first to make the pig thieving process a bit easier. Opting for the simplest route, head to the stairs on the east side of Ebonheart. Skirt along the inner walls behind the Ebony Flask to reach the gate, or alternatively, maneuver behind the two southern houses.
Another option from the eastern stairs is to cut behind the Fighters Guild Pavilion, then head southwest to the plaza, avoiding both the Ebony Flask and the Town Hall to reach the gate. If spotted by the butcher, completing the achievement becomes impossible. To retry, abandon the quest, clear your bounty, and start anew, or wait until the following day.
If you're still encountering difficulties, ensure your riding speed is maximized and utilize skills such as the Nightblade's Shadow Cloak or a potion of invisibility to evade detection. Additionally, consider equipping different gear sets like Adept Rider and Jailbreaker to enhance your overall speed.
For the "Royal Rivalry" quest, note that harpies and the Leyawiin Tower are less likely to drop dust compared to bandits. Hence, focus your efforts on eliminating bandits while searching for dust. These shards, sacks, and bone piles are not shared, even in grouped situations. Thus, if you pick up a Dragonfire Crystal, another player must wait for it to respawn to loot it.
To embark on the "A Foe most Porcine" quest, obtain it by reading the flyers titled "A Foe most Porcine" found on posts near the Jester Festival tents in Auridon, Glenumbra, Stonefalls, or at the Hammerdeath Arena. If struggling to defeat the king, consider teaming up with friends to prevent him from consuming apples, which regenerate his health and enrage him.
Regarding the "The King's Spoils" quest, it can be completed simultaneously with "A Foe most Porcine" by collecting apples while battling the king. The more apples gathered, the greater the reward of sparkling Mudcrab Apple Cider, with up to four bottles available. Although not particularly extraordinary, it serves as a pleasant refreshment if lacking other food or drink buffs.
As mentioned, group efforts significantly ease these tasks, so monitor zone chat or the group finder tool for potential assistance. Don't forget to check your guild, as fellow members may also be seeking aid.
In addition to that, here are a few general event reminders:
Ensure to check your tickets each day before proceeding with any activities. You can only hold a maximum of 12 tickets, and exceeding this limit will result in loss. While you'll receive a warning when attempting to turn in a quest with exceeded ticket count, it can still be bothersome to have to spend the tickets and return.
Furthermore, before making any purchases from the Impressario, it's advisable to test the drop rate of event items. Since tickets hold value, it's wise to reserve them for items that aren't easily obtained through drops.
Keep in mind that some individuals may have extra tickets they're willing to share. It's recommended to explore all available options before making purchases. Lastly, items acquired from the Impressario are bound, whereas those obtained from coffer drops are tradable and can be sold on Guild Traders. If you intend to trade festival loot for ESO Gold or share it with friends, remember that items purchased from the Impressario cannot be traded.
With the WoW Classic Season of Discovery Phase 2 having been available for nearly 2 months now, it’s likely that Phase 3 will come out next month in April. We have access to some leaked information that helps us make reasonable guesses.
As recent leaks about new raid content have suggested, the upcoming raid is likely to be the Sunken Temple. Datamining from the PTR reveals notable changes, such as a shift in Sunken Temple’s lockout to a 3-day duration and its instant ID being assigned the number 23.
Notably, Sunken Temple already accommodated up to 10 players, consistent with many vanilla dungeons. Blizzard has confirmed that the next raid will support 20 players. Taking these factors into account, it seems unlikely that the next phase will see 2 raids. Expect us to see a 20-man Sunken Temple raid.
The Sunken Temple could be the next raid following Stranglethorn Vale. Blizzard claims to highlight underrated instances, and Stranglethorn Vale falls squarely into that category. Sunken Temple aligns well with the ongoing Stranglethorn Vale PvP event. This connection could be attributed to our actions empowering the Blood God, Hakkar, through encounters like the world boss Lord Kazzak, thus potentially increasing Sunken Temple’s significance in the game world.
Sunken Temple’s intricate design includes some hidden bosses, which may have been overlooked by many players. Coordinating a team for these encounters could be challenging. Summoning Atal’hakkar, for instance, required players to manipulate snake statues on balconies in a specific sequence. Atal’hakkar boasted a formidable health pool and could unleash a devastating knockback.
Sunken Temple housed another hidden boss, the Avatar of Hakkar, accessible through a questline. Defeating this boss was no simple feat, as players had to withstand the relentless waves of Hakkari Bloodkeeper. In Phase 3, there are hints suggesting a revamp of heroic PvE content, possibly introducing heroic plus dungeons or similar challenges.
Blizzard’s recent email survey included a question about the importance of Heroic Plus or Titan Rune dungeons in the Season of Discovery. Blizzard hinted at adding more difficult modes, indicates a potential expansion of challenging content. Such additions would align with player expectations and keep the game engaging across each phase release.
There have also been a number of interesting datamined class runes in the latest PTR build. Some seem reasonable and obviously seem a little wacky and far-fetched.
Mage: The Balefire Bolt is similar to Arcane Blast, but you lose Spirit on every stack rather than being increased mana consumption, and then when you reach zero Spirit, you actually die. Deep Freeze and Molten Armor might be getting added.
Warlock: There are Summon Felguard, Pandemic, Backdraft, Unstable Affliction and Immolation Aura, but these were determined to be in the Phase 2 PTR, so I’m not sure whether we’re going to get these.
Priest: The Despair that hints that we might be getting crit on dots. There’s also this ability called the V-zone. It’s basically a bit similar to a Death Knight’s Death and Decay.
Rogue: may be getting Honor Amongst Thieves along with some new runes to increase their energy regen.
Druid: Get a solid AOE ability as Gale Winds that increases the Hurricane damage and removes the cooldown.
Hunter: Get something new called Focus Fire, where they can consume a pet’s Frenzy Stacks to increase their own ranged attack speed or you might be getting Taste for Blood. This is a proc that allows your overpower to be usable in rats.
Paladin: There’s purifying power allowing you to use Fanaticism and Holy Wrath on any target, and this should be a huge buff to them. They may also get their raft cooldown.
It appears that there is a new trend emerging as a gold bot epidemic among Horde gold farmers, as they are unable to farm stockades. Instead, they have turned to fishing squid. This strategy makes sense, as one only needs to reach Level 5 to get started, and it can yield a decent amount of WoW SOD Gold, especially with people buying these in anticipation of Phase 3.
Setting up fishing bots is much simpler compared to full-scale farming bots. Although the Grilled Squid recipe for the 10 agility food buff is not yet learnable, people are profiting from stockpiling it for the Phase 3 release, when it is expected to become the most sought-after food buff in the game. There's a possibility that they are transferring their stock of squid to unused bot accounts to avoid losing it.
Taking a closer look at the top 3 speedruns for Gnomeregan reveals some intriguing insights. Despite variations in team compositions, one consistent factor stands out: a Warlock Tank. This choice is logical, as Warlocks not only inflict substantial damage but also excel at handling the bombs on the final boss.
What's particularly interesting is the inclusion of 2 Shadow Priests in the world record run, despite their reputation as underperformers. This suggests that factors beyond boss DPS play a crucial role. Shadow Priests shine in managing trash mobs, a vital aspect of speedruns.
The composition heavily favors casters, which can pose challenges because of mana regeneration issues. However, the addition of 2 Shamans providing Shamanistic Rage, a potent mana regeneration tool, mitigates this concern. This setup underscores the dominance of Horde in the current speedruns.
Notably, DPS characters are significantly contributing to healing, signaling a shift in the meta strategy. Stacking Shamans for Shamanistic Rage to support a caster-heavy group appears to be the preferred approach. This allows casters to excel in dealing AOE damage to trash mobs, further optimizing speedrun performance.
Hi, gamers! Welcome to this new WoW Season of Discovery guide, and today's topic is addons. I will introduce 7 addons to enhance your gaming experience in Phase 2. These addons are very useful, making them an indispensable tool in your gaming process. Now, let's delve into what each of them offers.
Let’s first discuss the Dejunk addon. You may find yourself with a full bag and can't loot useful items like epics while grinding or raiding. It’s a common issue, often beacuse of a lack of sufficient bag space and organization. Enter Dejunk, a handy addon designed to address this problem.
When Dejunk displays the inexpensive items in your bag, clicking on 'destroy next items', Dejunk automatically removes items based on their value, starting with the cheapest ones.
However, Dejunk also allows for manual customization. By accessing the settings menu, you can add specific items that you want to prioritize for destruction. For instance, you might choose to add solid stones due to their low value on the auction house, even though it may not always be the best decision to destroy them.
Adding items manually is simple. Just click 'add an item' and input the item ID. If you’re unsure of the item ID, you can find it on websites like WoWhead. Once added, Dejunk will automatically prioritize these items for destruction if they are less valuable.
Dejunk offers keybinding options for added convenience. Accessing the options menu, you can set up keybindings to toggle the junk frame or automatically destroy the cheapest item without opening the interface. Dejunk is a versatile addon that works seamlessly with idTip, another addon mentioned, making it easy to manage and prioritize items in your inventory.
Let's now discuss the next addon, Aux. Aux is an Auction House addon featuring a sleek UI complete with features like favorite and recent searches, along with an intuitive item posting system. The UI itself is easy to navigate and boasts clear, large fonts, for example, Prototype. Within Aux, you'll find a filter builder that simplifies item searches, as well as a convenient history of previously searched items.
When posting items, you may notice that only a limited number of listings are displayed, which could be becasue of certain settings. For example, if Mageweave was previously sold for 12 silver, you might want to verify how many stacks are currently listed at that price. Upon checking, you might find a discrepancy, with only a few stacks available at a lower price. In such cases, you can adjust your listing accordingly to maximize your profits.
Aux offers a tooltip option that provides various item details, including vendor price and auction house availability. However, to ensure accuracy, it's important to scan the Auction House daily. You can also view disenchant values and distribution using specific commands.
Despite the availability of more advanced Auction House addons like TSM 3, I've found Aux to be more than sufficient for we need. It effectively fulfills my requirements for listing items quickly and managing the Auction House efficiently whenever I need to make WoW SOD Gold.
Let’s discuss the next item on our list. Sometimes, we find ourselves short on space in our action bars to accommodate all our spells, items, and consumables. With just a key press, the menu appears at your mouse pointer, allowing you to add anywhere from 12 to 24 extra action bars in a circular layout.
Here’s how it works: You activate RingMenu, and it appears in your mouse pointer. You can then click on the spell or item you need, and the menu disappears automatically.
This addon is incredibly versatile. Hunters can use it to organize tracking abilities, Mages can utilize it for portals and additional spells, and professions like Conjure Water. Essentially, it can be customized to suit your specific needs.
In the options menu, you’ll find various customization options. You can adjust the button size, increase the number of action bars from 12 to 24, and even expand the radius of the RingMenu to cover half of your screen if desired. You can also set keybindings to easily open and close the menu.
RingMenu is a fantastic addon that helps save space on your main action bars by allowing you to hide less frequently used spells and items. It’s especially useful for PvP situations and damage dealing scenarios, where quick access to essential abilities is crucial.
Cursor Trail is an addon designed to enhance your pointer experience in WoW Classic. When activated, it leaves circles and snowflakes behind your cursor, offering a frosty aesthetic. This setup is particularly suited for Mages. One of the main benefits of using this addon is its usefulness with cursor macros.
It allows you to find where you place your spells, such as Frost Strike, Blizzard, Frost Traps, and Master Spells easily. By customizing the color and appearance of the cursor, making it easier to track during intense gameplay.
The addon comes with a variety of settings that can be adjusted to suit your preferences. You can change the scale, shadow intensity, and opacity of the cursor trail. There are options for different trail effects, including lightning and circles, as well as color customization for different classes like Warlocks.
Let's move on to the next addon, NugRunning. NugRunning is an incredibly versatile addon that allows you to track a wide range of effects such as DoTs, shields and more. You can even create custom trackers for trinkets and other specific effects.
If you notice that a particular spell or effect isn't being tracked, you can easily add it by accessing the addon's options menu. Simply locate the spell ID for the effect you want to track and then add it to the spell list in NugRunning.
This addon also works seamlessly with other addons like ID Tip, which displays spell IDs when you hover over spells or DoTs. NugRunning offers extensive customization options, allowing you to adjust the appearance and layout of your trackers to suit your preferences. Whether you're grinding mobs or raiding dungeons, NugRunning can help you stay on top of your important buffs and debuffs with ease.
Let’s move to the next one. This is a helpful addon for items. This will show all the items you pick as scrolling loot text right there above your character, with the number and value of the item, but also the color and the rarity of the item in the font. It’s called Scrolling Loot Text.
This addon does exactly what it says it does. It has a couple of commands you can add. For example, if you want to see honor as a scrolling loot text, you can also increase the scale of the item set so you can see better. Just use the command /SloTe, or whatever works best for you. You can also do /SloTe test to see how it would look.
Let’s move to the last one, which is connected with this one. Improved Loot Frame is an addon that condenses all the loot into one page when using the Blizzard default loot frame. Instead of having 3 items per page and then keep pressing next until you get to the last item, using this addon will allow you to see better what’s on a boss, but also on chests. When you loot a chest, sometimes there are so many items, like 5 or 10 potions, herbs, items, cloth, and so on.
