Phase 4 is here, and that means pre-raid BiS grinds are finally starting. Pre-raid BiS farming in Phase 4 is completely different than it was in the past.
In the past, ideally, you made your own upgrade list, and then you’d go to different Dungeons and power-farm for a specific item. So suppose we need one item in Stratholme, we need to do 5-10 Stratholmes, this is how we get pre-raid BiS.
Sure, jump ahead to phase four, we still have AtlasLoot, BiS lists, and we still have 60 upgrades, but there is one unique difference, we no longer have to go to Stratholme and spend a long time grinding an item, but we can go around. Each boss in endgame dungeon will drop a brand new currency, and this currency you don’t want to miss.
Tarnished Undermine Real is the currency you get from all endgame bosses. Each boss will drop one, but it will only drop once a day, so you will have an incentive to go to all the different Dungeons.
Currently estimated that if you complete all the different endgame, including Stratholme, including Demon Fall Canyon Dungeon, you can get about 83R a day.
Speaking of the new dungeon, it provides quite a lot of pre-raid BiS pieces. For example, there is an activatable trinket that gives 80 strength. It’s very strong to enhance Shaman.
You also need to make sure to attend the BlackRock eruption event at least once a day. Most of these quests are around level 55, so you want to make sure all alts get there as quickly as possible. When we do this event, we can get eight quests in Thorium Point, each of which gives you about 9,000 experience, and you can get about 200 Thorium Brotherhood and Hydraxian Waterlords reputation.
This event starts every even hour, and you can join five random people and knock them down in about 20-30 minutes. When you turn in these quests, you can get Firelands Ember.
This thing you can use to lock toast window, and Grim Guzzler will sell you some insane pre-raid BiS items, such as Tempered Black Amnesty, which will give you 30% threat reduction.
But the problem is that you need a craftsman to make the original basic items, and then combine them with Firelands Ember to make truly enhanced versions of these items.
You need to craft a lot of these items, and they cost up to 25 Embers. The problem is, you only get 11 Embers per day, so you really need to use different alts to get these dailies done.
For example, they might want the full Flare course and Tempered Black Amnesty, so it would take at least 9 days of dailies to get all those different items.
One of the important aspects of Phase 4 pre-raid BiS is the crafted items. For example, a BOE hide of the wild, or just three of the 0.5 level set dropped by the Dungeon. These items are a lot of SOD Gold for you.
So if you can, it is recommended to farm or buy materials. Then craft them at the guild crafter for less money. If you are really short of money and want them, you can go to Tarnished Undermine Real Vendor. She is like a gold printer with five undermine reals.
You can exchange five undermine reals for some damaged goods. There might be five Winterfall Firewater in the box. So you can imagine if you had fifteen of these boxes every day, and you can get a lot of crazy things, even Black Lotus.
You could really get a lot of your crafted items.
Sunken temple is still in high demand for pre-raid BiS items across various classes. The good news is that you can now go to Sunken Temple twice a week, and there will be a lockout reset every Tuesday and Saturday. So before molden core comes out, if you are missing some items, it is recommended that you can go back to Sunken Temple.
Almost every class wants something from AV exalted. One of the benefits of getting Alterac Valley reputation is that as you level up in PVP, there are some newly upgraded level 8 and 10 PVP items, they are not really pre-raid BiS, but they are PVP and are more relevant than before when you had more stamina. So if you want to do any PVP, they are definitely a good choice.
Of course, some of the top players are really not happy that the rework pre-raid BiS grind. They think it is the best part of WOW Classis SOD.
After discussing these new systems, the item farming, Dungeon farming, the biggest takeaway for pre-raid BiS Farming should be that it is actually easier than ever.
You just need to find a group of five players and complete as many Dungeons as possible. You’re going to be prepared BiS in no time.
Go and experience it now.
WOW SOD brings a lot of new content to players with each new phase. But so far, it has mainly been adaptations of previous classic content, such as new level-up Raids adapted from vanilla Dungeons.
But thankfully, in Phase 4, we finally have a brand new and original content that is no longer an adaptation, Demon Fall Canyon (DFC).
In WOW SOD, Demon Fall Canyon is the max-level dungeon currently available, so it differs from most dungeons. If we want to enter Demon Fall Canyon Dungeon, we first need to collect Shadowtooth Illusion Ward.
We need to collect it to fit in Demon Fall Canyon Dungeon, otherwise we won’t be able to see the instance portal.
In this guide, we will learn how to unlock Demon Fall Canyon Dungeon, where this dungeon is, and what the DFC prerequisites are.
If you want to know the answers to these questions, please read the article. Knowing the answers to these questions can help us accumulate WOW SOD Gold and get more rewards.
There are two prerequisites for unlocking DFC. The first is that our character level must reach Level 55. The second is that we must complete Wild Offerings questline “Wild Gods” released in Phase 3. Both conditions are indispensable.
Before we reach Level 55, Emerald Sanctuary is located in southern Felwood, and Shadowtooth Emissary in Emerald Sanctuary will not even provide you with the attunement quest “Demonic Deceptions”. But even if you reach level 55, if you have not completed Wild Gods quest, Demon Fall Canyon attunement is still unavailable.
After you reach level 55 and successfully complete the quest, and get the quest provided by Shadowtooth Emissary, then unlocking Demon Fall Canyon is your next objective.
To unlock Demon Fall Canyon, the first thing we need to do is to find Shadowtooth Emissary and pick up the quest “Demonic Deceptions”. If anyone can’t pick up this quest, please check whether our previous prerequisites have been completed.
Shadowtooth Emissary will tell you more about Loa. The area where this incident took place is also the area where Grommash Hellscream defeated Demon Mannoroth. We need to release Orcs from the control of Loa’s fel blood, which is just like the story of WarCraft 3.
He will give you a quest, which is Owlbeast Pineal Glands to create a charm, use the charm to dispel the illusion brought by this major battle, and then send us to Winterspring.
Owlbeasts in other regions will not drop this high-level quest item. Only Owlbeasts in the highest level Winterspring will drop it. And not all Owlbeasts will drop it. The drop rates of Berserk Owlbeasts and Moontouched Owlbeasts are one-third and one-quarter, respectively. However, Crazed Owlbeasts will not drop items before reaching level 56.
I need about six Owlbeasts, so I need to find a place where Owlbeasts live. At this time, we need to return to Emerald Sanctuary. The best place to get Owlbeasts is in the north of Everlook, which is a cave near the world map.
It is recommended that if we are not in a hurry, we can avoid this peak period, which will be much easier. And there are two types of Owlbeasts in this place, which are very popular with players.
When we return to Emerald Sanctuary, give your Pineal Glands to Shadowtooth Emissary. In return, Shadowtooth Emissary will give you Shadowtooth Illusion Ward. When you get Shadowtooth Illusion Ward, it means completing “Demonic Deceptions”.
Shadowtooth Illusion Ward is a trinket. We need to collect this Shadowtooth Illusion Ward to adapt to dungeon of WOW SOD P4. It is worth noting that Demon Fall Canyon location is not in Felwood, nor in Winterspring.
Demon Fall Canyon is located in southeast of Ashenvale, which is not too far away. If you are riding a mount, the distance is even closer.
Demon Fall Canyon is not difficult to find. When we first find the premise of Demon Fall Canyon, we must first find a grey chasm in the southeast of Ashenvale on the map. This place is very close to Splintertree Post, and it is only a few inches on the map.
After finding a grey chasm in the southeast of Ashenvale, you will find the entrance to Demon Fall Canyon. But if you don’t have Shadowtooth Illusion Ward equipped, you won’t be able to see the instance portal. So be sure to complete the previous quest to avoid unnecessary trouble.
Then we have to equip the Demon Fall Canyon attunement trinket, which is very important. We must also make sure that everyone must equip this thing. Then we can enter this instance portal and enter this new dungeon.
The minimum level requirement for Demon Fall Canyon is 55. We can also enter at other levels, but it is not recommended to enter Demon Fall Canyon at the highest level. This is very difficult for quite a few players, perhaps because the players are not fully familiar with this new dungeon.
I hope this article can help you and give you a better gaming experience.
There are a lot of crazy things in Shadow of the Erdtree that can improve your general gameplay experience. There are these hanging cans in a lot of places around DLC that are hard to notice, and if you hit them with a ranged attack, they pop open and drop a Bell Bearing, and that’s just one example of a useful item. This guide will cover some of the exact same things.
There is a consumable version of Golden Vow Buff in Shadow of the Erdtree, this is more powerful than the version that takes up Ash of War slaughter, it’s slightly weaker than Incantation version, and while it doesn’t require 25 Faith to use at first, this item works better for a lot of builds than Golden Vow.
The other way around is that it requires a lot of level investment, and the only downside is, it’s not infinite. It’s a consumable item, and you need to dig a little for its materials if you want to make more.
It’s particularly useful for Colosseum PVP game mode. It returns your used items when you exit, since they use your items instead of consuming them, which is also a unique bonus.
As for how to get this, you can find a few, but you mainly want a cookbook, which allows you to get the crafting recipe for this, which can be found in the tent at Messmer Soldier Camp south of Shadow Keep.
Then we have a fun minor item, Festive Grease, which can be attached to a weapon and increase the effect. Its effect is that every time you hit an enemy with this, it gives you 25 Elden Ring Runes. Its main purpose is to increase the damage of the keep, and while it’s less than the new Golden Grease, it’s still a nice little bonus. It can also stack with things like Celebrant Weapons from the base game.
As for how to get it, this is again a cookbook type deal. This is in Fort of Reprimand in Shadow Realm from the grace. In the middle, turn this corner to find this little room. First appearing here, behind it, is a staircase. Here you will find a ladder, climb up the ladder and at the top you will find a chest with the recipe you are looking for.
Our next item is Greasemonger’s Bell Bearings. This is one of only a few Bell Bearings in DLC that allows you to exchange for unlimited roots instead of resin. This is one of the crafting materials required for every Weapon Grease in the game and can make farming grease a lot simpler.
To get this for yourself, you need to head to Church District Highroad Site Of Grace. Behind the turtle, you will see a hanging can. You can shoot it to drop it and then get this Bell Bearings for yourself.
Flesh is a consumable item that is a low power version of the extremely limited Dragonscale Flesh, but can be crafted repeatedly with the right recipe, which makes it a little easier to recommend using it, it increases your Vigor, your endurance, strength and dexterity.
You get quite a bit of value out of a single item, but at the cost of a relatively moderate amount of health per second, which makes it particularly well suited to quality type builds that can take advantage of both strength and dexterity.
But importantly, this only allows you to put about 24 upgrade points into different stats. It’s right at Jagged Peak Mountainside Site of Grace, in this corner of the cliff, then at the end on the path behind some Slimes, you’ll see this corpse, and the recipe is there.
Then there’s Herbalist’s Bell Bearing. This allows you to exchange for one item and only one item of fruit. The new basic fruit crafting material in DLC, this has a number of uses, the main one being Dragon Communion Flesh.
This is from another hanging pot, this one right here on your map which is on Pillar Path Waypoint site of Grace, between this and Dragon’s Pit Site of Grace, once you find that spot, shoot the pot down to get your reward, take it home, and then you can exchange for some fruit.
Finally, the last one is a particularly useful item, Hefty Freezing Pot, which is a massive explosion of Frostbite Buildup that you throw at enemies, it also does some damage when it lands, and is hard for enemies to dodge because of the size of the explosion.
If you want to craft them, you’ll need to get Greater Potentate’s Cookbook 11, this is in Bellat Jail, as you make your way through the dungeon you’ll eventually drop into a maze of jar-like rooms, then when you get to the last corner of this room guarded by the last enemy, the item will be on the floor underneath a corpse leaning against a jar.
These are all significant items that you may not be using yet, but I hope you’ll consider using after seeing this guide.
The arrival of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC brings a host of new content, including new areas, new quests, and brand new NPCs. One of NPCs we’ll encounter early in Three-Path Cross Site of Grace area is Hornsent.
Once you find him, he’ll talk to you and give you a few maps, and completing his quest will net you a pretty nice reward.
Note that some players often confuse him with the NPC trapped in Belurat, Hornsent Grandam, but in fact, they have nothing to do with each other.
As you progress through game, questline will become more complicated, especially when you enter Shadow Keep. Don’t worry, though, here we’ll detail all tips you need to know about Hornsent questline, including where you need to find Hornsent, as well as some key tips for completing quest efficiently. Without further ado, let’s get straight to it!
Note that you won’t find Hornsent in a fixed location in Elden Ring DLC.
We first spotted him in Gravesite Plain, where he was wandering Three-Path Cross Site of Grace with Redmane Freyja.
We then saw him at Highroad Cross Site of Grace after defeating Rellana, Twin Moon Knight, where he was still hanging out with Needle Knight Leda. You’ll need to talk to him and complete his quests until he joins you end enter Shadow Keep with you.
We last spotted Hornsent was during invasion outside of Church of the Bud in Rauh Ruins area.
We have two encounters with Hornsent, first of which is at Gravesite Plain. We need to start at Gravesite Plain in Shadow of the Erdtree and head north past Scorched Ruins and first Furnace Golem to reach Three-Path Cross Site of Grace.
After talking to Redmane Freyja and Hornsent, Hornsent will give us a cross map with specific locations of some Miquella’s Crosses marked on it.
Second meeting is in Scadu Altus, where we need to pass Belurat, Tower Settlement, and capture Divine Beast Dancing Lion. After exploring Castle Ensis, defeat Rellana, Twin Moon Knight.
Then we will meet Hornsent and Needle Knight Leda at Highroad Site of Grace in Scadu Altus. At this time, Hornsent will give you a new cross map with Miquella’s Crosses marked on it.
Of course, you can also give him some Scorpion Stew, which will add some additional dialogue, but it will not affect progress of the quest.
Before you approach the front door of Shadow Keep, you will receive two messages. The first one is “Somewhere, a great rune has broken...”, and the other one is “And so too has a powerful charm.”
Both messages are related to Miquella and NPCs you have encountered so far.
After unlocking Shadow Keep Main Gate Site of Grace, you need to return to Highroad Site of Grace and complete conversation with Hornsent and Leda.
You need to return to Shadow Keep Main Gate Site of Grace. At this time, you look to right of the door and there will be a golden summoning sign. This sign is used to summon Hornsent, who can help you defeat Golden Hippopotamus boss.
After defeating Golden Hippopotamus boss and before fighting Messmer the Impaler boss, you need to return to Highroad Cross Site of Grace and continue talking to Hornsent and Leda until Leda decides to kill Hornsent.
She will ask for your opinion, but you don’t have to make a decision. Just wait for Leda to say she wants to kill Hornsent.
This process may require you to rest at Site of Grace many times before it triggers.
Hornsent will disappear before Leda can kill him, so you need to contact Leda again and then return to Shadow Keep.
Go out of door on the right (east) side of Shadow Keep Main Gate Site of Grace, go up ramp, and turn right at top of wall. You will find a gold and a red summoning sign.
Clicking gold summoning sign means choosing to assist Needle Knight Leda, while red one is for helping Hornsent.
When you choose Leda, you will need to kill Hornsent and end his quest on the spot, then claim his drops.
When you choose Hornsent, you will be summoned to another world to fight a ghost version of Leda. After you win battle, Leda will drop following rewards: the Swift Slash Ash of War and Leda’s Rune. These items are of high value, and if you have extra, you can also trade them with other players to earn additional Elden Ring Runes.
Push open the door to Dark Chamber Entrance Site of Grace and a cutscene will appear. After watching it, check the floor behind you and to your right to see if there is a gold summoning sign that will allow you to summon Hornsent to help you fight.
After the battle, you will rest in the new Messmer’s Dark Chamber Site of Grace. After you stand up, Hornsent will have a monologue, and you can wait for it to end before you can move on.
Hornsent’s final journey takes place at Church of The Bud near Rauh Ruins. As you make your way through the caves and toward the church, you’ll encounter the invader Hornsent and need to defeat him.
After the battle, he’ll drop the following items:
This is the end of the introduction to the gameplay of Hornsent questline, and its rewards are quite generous. Hoping that after reading this article, you can get a better gaming experience.
I don’t like leveling, and I’m sure you don’t either. So we’ll skip the leveling process by farming dungeons, and here are some ways to do it.
At the beginning, we are only level 50, and there are almost no options. At this time, the only thing we can do is to run in Arena of Blackrock Depths (BRD). For me now, this is no choice. BRD will provide us with a lot of XP. When we reach level 51 or 52, we can easily beat the boss in BRD hell.
This can be done at level 50. Before you reach level 51 or level 52, you can beat any other boss, including the emperor, which is good loot. When you reach level 52, you can no longer get new SOD Gold through BRD hell.
When you get some items, some items may have windfury on them. There are many items in the slot that have windfury on them. There is also windfury on handle of justice, which has been perfected, and the technicians have added a lot of attack power to it.
So, in fact, you only need to get handle of justice to hit four times in a row. This chance is very small. Whoever gets this thing will be very happy.
In BRD hell, there is not only melee loot but also a lot of casters loot. When you reach level 52, you can still lava runes, but at this time, the lava runes will kill Incendius and Magmus and finally the emperor.
There are many things that are ignored in lava runes, but they are not difficult to learn. Incendius and Magmus are probably the ones you want to farm the most, but the emperor’s loot is very good. You need fire resistance gear now, preferably from molten core, but you can’t get it now.
The best thing about Incendius is that it now drops fire resistance gear, which makes it safer when you molten core. After level 52, the leveling speed of BRD will slow down. There is no way to solve this problem.
What we can do is to complete all the quests as much as possible, and try to complete the easier quests first. For example, we can receive three quests at burning steps. We can receive some other quests at the hord. There are additional quests at the beginning of Dun Morogh.
There is another step that you should remember even if you don’t plan to level dungeons. The first one is Dragonkin Menace, which you can accept at the boarding steps for the alliance. You can continue to complete Onyxia’s Lair Attunement quest after Dragonkin Menace is completed.
Later, even if you complete BRD quest, you still need to go again at level 55 so that you can get your molten core attunement. But you only need to accept the quest at the entrance of BRD to complete it.
Another suggestion is that after level 53, that is, between level 54 and level 55, we don’t need to complete quests in the dungeon at all. Even if there are some PVP activities, the XP you can get is too little.
After you complete at least the first half of Blackrock Spire, you can reach level 54. Lower Blackrock Spire is very important. You have to find a key here, but the drop rate is very low.
You have to fight five people to complete this task and get three unique items. Assuming you are in a good guild, you can ask others to help you get the fragments, which will be much easier, but if you are an ordinary person, you have to complete a lot of things.
In Blackrock Spire, the mobs are actually very weak. Even if you can’t clear them all, you can still get the fragments of the first two bosses, and you can still get a lot of XP in them. The last boss in lower Blackrock Spire is undoubtedly level 60.
But don’t be afraid at all, we have so many freaking hit gear. Here we still have two neutral quests to complete. We just need to find this NPC and complete the tasks he gives us.
If you do these tasks later, the loot you get may not be of any use to you, except for the key, so if you complete them now, at least there will be XP for you.
So far, we should have completed at least two quests. Of course, Onyxia’s Lair Attunement is not included. If you don’t want to choose because of the key, you have another choice, which is Stratholme.
All the monsters you see in Stratholme are about level 57 or level 58. It is still difficult for us to fight individually, but if you have a team, it is still quite good. Because we can get a class with a good AOE.
Here we can take some small quests, and there is also a very long quest, which is Grimms tobacco Quest. Completing these quests can get us a lot of XP.
Don’t ask me why I didn’t go to Scholomance. This quest is too long and we need to do a lot of preparation. After completing the above tasks, we should have almost reached level 60. Have you remembered this quick upgrade method after reading this?
There are a lot of easily missed quests and rewards in Shadow of The Erdtree DLC. Among them, Moore is an NPC in Elden Ring who has an important questline. Here, I will share a complete guide for all the quests and locations of this Moore Questline.
Before we start, I need to remind you that if you encounter these Friendly Pest NPCs during the quest, do not attack them. When you talk to them, they will give you various Forager Brood Cookbooks, which are one of the most easily overlooked items in DLC. And attacking them will also interfere with your Moore Questline.
After this introduction, we will go to Main Gate Cross Site of Grace to start Moore’s quest. There we can find Moore and talk to him.
If we consume an item from Moore’s shop, we will have the option of “Talk to Moore”. If we go and talk to another NPC, Ansbach, and complete all of his dialogue, we should be able to ask him about “Person in Verdigris Armor”.
The next step we will complete in Moore Questline involves another NPC, Thiollier, and can only be done before breaking Great Rune, which happens when approaching Shadow Keep.
To reach Thiollier, we need to cross Ellac Greatbridge and then move southeast along Pillar Path. A smaller path branches off from the main path east and will take us to Pillar Path Cross. We can find Thiollier nearby.
After completing all of the dialogue with Thiollier, we will spend Elden Ring Runes to get poison-related items from him.
Next, let’s fast travel to Main Gate Cross, interact with Moore, and select “Talk to Moore” option to get Black Syrup Key Item. On the way back to Thiollier, we can choose the options “Give Black Syrup”, then “Ask about Black Syrup”, and finally “I’m weary of life”. This will give us Thiollier’s Concoction.
Of course, you can also choose to get more of this consumable from Thiollier for 30,000 Elden Ring Runes each. This item is used to obtain one of the two endings of Dragon Communion Priestess Questline, which comes with a set of exclusive rewards.
Next we will get all Forager Brood Cookbooks, which are recipes given by Friendly Pest NPCs and can only be obtained before completing Moore Questline.
To reach the first Friendly Pest, we will move southeast of Main Gate Cross and up the cliffside to Cliffroad Terminus Site of Grace.
From there, we can move a short distance southeast to find Friendly Pest near a ledge. Interacting with it will yield Forager Brood Cookbook [2].
To find the next Friendly Pest, we need to head south to Cerulean Coast. We’ll start at Castle Front Site of Grace and move southeast, sticking to the east side of the main road. After encountering a few Messmer Soldiers, there’s a series of steep but climbable descents that lead down to Ellac River.
After descending, we’ll be able to enter a cave system to the south, near an enormous pink Miranda Flower. We’ll then head southwest through the caves, free to explore along the way.
We can pick up a Revered Spirit Ash before discovering Ellac River Cave Site of Grace. From there, we’ll continue south through the cave system.
There are a few platforming sections here that need to be handled with caution to avoid dying from fall damage. There’s also a small group of Gravebirds lining up on the path, which is also a threat. Despite the danger, we should eventually make it to Ellac River Downstream Site of Grace.
From here, head a little further south to exit this cave. That being said, we still need to continue moving south, past a couple of Lightning Sheeps and a Furnace Golem. We can then turn west and walk through a forest to Cerulean Coast. If you need Southern Shore Map, you can find it just south of there. There is also a Miquella’s Cross to the southeast of the map.
Assuming this is not the case, we can find a second Friendly Pest NPC northeast of Cerulean Coast Site of Grace. Interacting with it will yield Forager Brood Cookbook [3].
To get the remaining Forager Brood Cookbooks, we need to head to Scadu Altus. We can then take Spiritspring to Site of Grace, which is located behind Fort of Reprimand in Scadu Altus.
From there, we can move north along Moorth Highway, discovering a couple of Sites of Grace and obtaining a map of the area, before heading south to Highroad Cross. Be careful not to go north past the map location, as doing so will destroy Miquella’s Great Rune.
Here, we need a Warming Stone to get the next Forager Brood Cookbook. These can be found throughout the base game.
Once we have it, we will head northwest from Highroad Cross to Church of the Crusade. If you get too close to the church, you will be invaded by Fire Knight Queelign. This in itself is not a problem, but if you are invaded, be sure to defeat Queelign before moving north to Friendly Pest NPC. This is because Queelign will follow you and may eventually kill Pest.
Beyond that, we should find Friendly Pest just north of the church. This Pest will need to be warmed up using the nearby Warming Stone. We can then rest at Site of Grace or otherwise reload the game. Afterwards, we can interact with Pest to get Forager Brood Cookbook [4].
Next, we can return to Main Gate Cross. At this point, we should be able to interact and talk to Moore to get Forager Brood Cookbook [7].
Before we break Great Rune, let’s collect the remaining Forager Brood Cookbooks.
The first of these is located southwest of Moorth Ruins, near Ruined Forge of Starfall Past. Interacting with Friendly Pest there will give us Forager Brood Cookbook [1].
Next, head northeast of Moorth Ruins and through the caves near the water’s edge. We’ll reach a pool of venom. Interacting with Friendly Pest near the northeast edge of that pool will give us Forager Brood Cookbook [5].
To get the final Forager Brood Cookbook, we’ll first need to make our way to Church District Highroad, northeast of Scadu Altus.
The final Friendly Pest will be northwest of Church District Highroad Site of Grace, on a plateau. When interacted with, it will give us Forager Brood Cookbook [6].
At this point, we should have all 7 Forager Brood Cookbooks. If this is the case, we no longer need to keep Moore alive to get any content we might have missed.
So, we can return to Main Gate Cross and talk to Moore. Technically, Moore has two choices, and either choice will give the same rewards. The only actual difference we can make is to have Moore die now, without a fight, or die near the end of DLC after we fight him.
To make these choices, we will interact and talk with Moore. Saying “I don’t know” has no effect on Moore.
The slower path to completing Moore Questline is to say “Put it behind you”. Doing so will allow us to fight Moore near the end of DLC to get his item set.
The quicker and easier option is to say “Remain sad forever”. Doing so will allow Moore to die now, without a fight. If we choose either of these two options, and then fast-forward to this location, Moore should be gone.
If you tell Moore “Remain sad forever”, you can go to Friendly Pest location northeast of Church of the Crusade. There, you’ll find Moore’s Bell-Bearing, Verdigris Shield, and Verdigris Armor Set.
If you say “Put it behind you” to Moore, you’ll next encounter him after Cleansing Chamber Anteroom in Enir-Ilim. There, you must fight him as one of Leda’s allies and defeat him. After the fight, you can pick up Moore’s items from his body.
That’s it for the complete guide to Moore Questline. Follow this guide and you won’t miss any of the key content and rewards worth noting. Give it a try! See you next time!
The last boss of Shadow of the Erdtree is truly the hardest to fight, and the same is true for the base game. Promised Consort Radahn is an absolutely unfair fight that will demand everything you have, and having done a lot of runs through DLC with various builds may help. Here are the top five reworked fights from easiest to hardest.
First, Impenetrable Thorns, for all your sorcery fans out there, Impenetrable Thorns is probably one of the most powerful spells in the game right now, the damage this spell does is a kind of crazy, and it can even kill a lot of bosses in one go.
It can be picked up for free in Shadow of the Erdtree if you drop off the ledge in front of the door, and the path to Messmer only requires a 24 Faith requirement, and most builds should probably have to reassign some attributes to use it.
What really makes this spell shine is multiple bleed procs. You cast it once at range and it shoots out three thorns; they travel a distance before colliding with the enemy. But at range, all three thorns will shoot at the same target, causing a lot of bleeding to maximize this build. You want to use a staff that can scale with Arcane, like Alaric, or Ymir’s Maternal, and maximize your Arcane stats.
The second one is Putrescence Cleaver. Putrescence Cleaver is a great axe. You will find from memory that you are only a night boss. This is an Arcane scaling weapon. It can split physical, magical damage, while also establishing frost status,
So it’s perfect to use against Radahn because he is susceptible to frostbite. For those who don’t know about frostbite, enemies with frostbite take 10% more damage from all sources.
Whereas Ashes of War is a bit silly, you may not get the chance to use it. But the axe moveset is pretty outstanding. The weapon also packs a punch, and the durability of the speed makes up for the raw damage and the balance damage, so it’s actually pretty cool, too.
Third, Multilayered Ring of Light, compared to sorceries, DLC introduced a lot of spells, and as powerful as Impenetrable Thorns is, Multilayered Ring of Light is really good. It might sound a little counterintuitive to use Holy against Radahn, but he’s actually probably just as weak as Holy in the first phase because of his undead soul brought back to life, or something like that.
This spell is really fast, and it travels a long distance, and it also does a ton of damage. It does over 5000 damage on a single charge, which is quite a lot. But range is where this spell really shines, because you can snipe him even when he’s in the air, and you can pick up this Incantation before Putrescent Knight fight.
After defeating this unfortunate enemy, you can use Dryleaf Seal to enhance Melina incantations for a sweet little reward, as well as Sacred Scorpion Charm and Holy Shroud, and hack it here to maximize Holy damage.
Dryleaf Arts are another new weapon type added to Elden Ring DLC. These Martial Arts are really cool and fun to use because their fast-moving setup actually packs a heavy punch. You can find these weapons instantly from Dryleaf Dane and NPCs, and you can also use Elden Ring Runes to instantly trade in the weapons you want if you don’t want to waste time looking for them. You have to win the fight when you encounter him in Moorth Ruins, which is immediately west of Site of Grace after Renna.
To get his weapons, you can infuse Dryleaf Arts with cold, which grants frostbite proc, which deals an extra 10% damage to enemies affected by status effects. They work well as fast weapons, and synergize well with million players and Winged Sword Insignia, as they have multi-hit.
The only downside they do is the range, being short fist weapons, but moving will cause your character model to move slightly forward, so you won’t notice it when locking onto an enemy. This fight with Promised Consort Radahn is very difficult.
You might want to try a defensive counter with these fists. They are very powerful. Since you can break Promised Consort Radahn with three balances in a row, he gives you plenty of opportunities to do it, and each defensive counter will also multi-hit with these weapons, causing a lot of status damage.
Finally the fifth, Smithscript Dagger, Smithscript daggers are a new introduction to Elden Ring DLC, as a brand new weapon type that acts as a hybrid of a melee weapon and a ranged weapon, this weapon has a ranged light attack and a ranged heavy attack.
If you want to maintain DPS on enemies out of melee range, you can use it to jump. The attack is also ranged and will often headshot enemies, which works well against enemies for an extra 50% headshot damage.
Scattershot Throw Ash of War, which acts as a shotgun at close range, while also infusing dagger with bleed or frost for huge status damage. You only need to use it two or three times to deal status damage. Million players and Winged Sword Insignia work well with these weapons, getting more damage on multiple hits, as each attack will hit multiple times and trigger the buff.
You can find Smithscript daggers in Ruined Forge Lava Intake in the starting area of DLC, these weapons are a little more complicated to use in this fight than some of other weapons on this list, but the end result is well worth it and it’s a very fun way to do it.
In the fight against Promised Consort Radahn, not only does he move much faster than you, but he also attacks like a truck. So your movements must be very precise, and hopefully the above guide will help you win in the game!
Last Epoch has released a seasonal update a few days ago, and it’s called Harbingers of Ruin. In this update, there are some new things for players. For example, a new endgame foe has been added to Monolith of Fate.
Obviously, defeating these ancient Harbingers will give us new items. In addition, the leveling process has also been updated, including the new Nemesis system, which can give us new powers in the early game.
With this update, the developers have introduced a lot of balance changes to the game. Harbingers of Ruin may be confusing at first, but it’s okay. Below we will explain in detail what Harbingers of Ruin is and what it contains.
Harbingers of Ruin is the main update of Last Epoch and the first cycle of the game. A cycle is a seasonal realm that players need to start a fresh economy. This looks the same, but unlike other ARPGs, you can use any character in this new mechanics, not just cycle characters, even offline characters.
Cycle update brings two new foes, Nemeses and Harbingers. As in other games, slay these ephemeral foes will drop some very useful items, some crafting shards and Last Epoch Gold.
Of course, if you choose to empower them, you have to wait longer, but you will get more rewards. The more difficult it is to defeat them, the more abundant the rewards you get. In the end, you will unlock a pinnacle boss. If the pinnacle boss is slain in Cycle Realm, Eternal Realm characters will gain the right to use new cycle mechanics.
If it takes too long to complete these tasks, such as more than a week, EHG will automatically unlock these contents for all players.
Almost every area in Eterra has been harassed by Nemeses, who will appear as a golden circle icon. When you defeat figure, it will drop some items. Maybe some of the items are not what you want. You only need to interact with it briefly before defeating the ephemeral figure, and it will reveal all the items it can make.
You have three ways to face them.
These Nemesis are weaker than Exile Mages, so defeating them is not a difficult thing. We can choose the appropriate method to deal with Nemesis according to our situation.
When you encounter a Nemesis with good items, it goes without saying that you must kill it directly. However, if it has a Unique, and you are not in a hurry to get it, you can Empower Nemesis, and Unique may become Legendaries or even Legendary Potential.
As you progress through the later Chapters of the campaign, you’ll notice that some Nemeses have a low chance of spawning an Egg of the Forgotten, but an Egg of the Forgotten is a very useful item.
Putting a Unique into a slot and then incubating it. It will empower Unique to gain Legendary Potential or even Weaver’s Will. This method may allow you to turn your item into a Legendary Potential.
When you reach the endgame, all of your Monolith of Fate timelines will be associated with a type of Harbinger. After defeating the timeline boss, you can inherit some properties. Once we defeat ten endgame Harbingers, we will gain access to cycle’s new pinnacle boss.
Forgotten Knights are a faction that was created specifically to target cycle’s new Harbinger mechanic. When you defeat the first endgame Harbinger, you gain access to Forgotten Knights faction in the new Shattered Road region.
This is very similar to Circle of Fortune and Merchant’s Guild. After you gain access, they will give you passive bonuses. We need to defeat Harbingers to increase our rewards.
The Forgotten Knights faction does not conflict with Circle of Fortune or Merchant’s Guild. You can join Forgotten Knights faction or just one.
Through the above, we know what Harbingers of Ruin is, how to access the new Nemesis system, how to find Harbingers, how to increase the rewards you can get in the Forgotten Knights Faction, etc.
I hope these detailed instructions can help you and allow you to better experience Last Epoch.
According to the latest news, Season of Discovery Phase 4 is about to go live. Today, this article will take you through all DPS in Season of Discovery Phase 4 and create an accurate DPS tier list.
First, starting with Ret Paladin, Ret Paladin was in a weird place when it started in PTR. But through some testing work, and even target dummy testing. Ret Paladin fits in B tier. They deal decent damage, and they also bring a ton of utility.
But its damage is not stackable, so the damage that causes them is not enough. For a good Ret Paladin who knows what he is doing, besides bringing all the utility, it will also cause considerable damage.
As for Shadow Priests, it is definitely in a wonderful place, although it is not sure how the expansion will go. A lot of players thought they might start to slide because they don’t scale well with gear, but now on PTR, Shadow Priests have definitely moved up a notch.
Next up is Assassination Rogues, which is what we’re going to call Mutilate Rogues, which can still do very respectable damage even with the player damage and Venom nerfs. Mutilate Rogues can be one of the more viable specs for melee DPS and should be placed in A tier, right after Shadow Priests.
Now for Combat Rogues, while Saber Slash Rogues are definitely coming online, and some Saber Slash Rogues are hitting 3,200+ DPS on Patchwork, their DPS is really insane, so Combat Rogues, Saber Slash Rogues should be chosen for S tier, they are absolutely outstanding right now.
As for Mutilate Rogues, it’s not a PVE DPS spec, it doesn’t even need to be ranked.
For Balance Druids, it’s still in the same position. They’ve been in the reality throughout Season of Discovery, they’re not great, they’re not terrible, but they can be very useful in the right hands. So Balance Druids also bring a ton of utility. Balance Druids will now be in B tier along with Ret Paladin.
As for Elemental Shamans, Elemental Shamans were really, really fun in Season of Discovery. However, through the logs, they didn’t perform well with Patchwork, at least their DPS wasn’t good enough.
So Elemental Shamans will now be downgraded to a C tier. Now for those of you Elemental Shamans lovers, this isn’t the end of the road for you, because Enhancement performed really well, Enhancement was actually one of the top melee specs on PTR, Enhancement will move up to A tier above Shadow Priests.
Now for Warlock fans, really hoping it would be live in Season of Discovery Phase 4, there are some really good affliction changes, but the problem is that the damage effects of those afflictions are not there. So sadly, it will be relegated to C tier, right next to Elemental Shamans.
But for players who like Warlock, this is not the end of you, because Destruction Warlocks are doing really well, with Conflagrate changes, your emulate debuffs are not absorbed by the target, so you don’t have to waste a whole another Global to get the emulate back on the target.
After casting, they do a very respectable amount of damage to PTR. They are in A tier, slightly ahead of Shadow Priests. They are kind of on par with Shadow Priests on PTR now, which is a very interesting phase.
Soul Fires are second to none and absolutely exciting. So for players who like Warlocks, Destruction is definitely live in Phase 4.
Now let’s look at Warrior, Warrior was doing really well on PTR, but after the last round of changes, Warrior is completely ruined. Especially weapons, weapons are really bad, the last round of changes actually improved Fury Warrior a lot, but they are in a bad situation now, there are really no good weapons on PTR at the beginning of Phase 4, if there were some good core weapons. Warrior would really start to take off and would definitely be S tier, at least Fury Warrior would.
But now weapons are ruined. If there was an F tier, weapons would be F. Now its damage is really bad. It’s not even worth playing. But Fury Warrior is definitely much better than before, but now the damage is not enough. In fact, on PTR they are inferior to Ret Paladin in most cases.
But again, Warrior is really dependent on their weapons, so for Warrior fans, you really need to use SOD Gold to upgrade your weapons. Otherwise, its damage is really bad. So Warrior will basically be in B tier at the start of Phase 4, behind Balance Druids and Ret Paladin.
Now what’s interesting is that Frost Mage is also in the middle, it should be at the top of B tier, they do a pretty decent amount of damage on PTR, they’re definitely above Balance Druids, Ret Paladin, and Fury Warrior. But for Arcane Mage fans, it’s really not doing very well, you’re behind Warrior’s slump, there’s really no point in playing them unless we make some major changes.
Right now Fire Mage is breaking out, it’s doing some crazy damage on PTR, so for Fire Mage fans, you’re going to have a lot of fun, Fire Mage is in S tier and will probably stay in S tier throughout Season of Discovery Phase 4.
For Feral Druid right now, it’s in a really good spot, Feral Druid is doing really, really well on PTR, it’s in the top tier right below Combat Rogues, Combat Rogues and Fire Mage are on PTR for the last week now. So Feral Druid is going to be fun to play, and maybe we won’t have a hard time finding wild strikes as we get into the next phase, because playing Feral Druid is really fun for Marksmanship Hunter.
For Marksmanship Hunter right now, it’s in a pretty suitable spot. They’re doing really well. They’re actually going to sit in A tier, right next to Feral Druid and Elemental Shamans. DPS of Marksmanship Hunter is really high.
And then for melee Hunters, they’re also right behind them, they were nerfed pretty badly at first, but then they got buffed and now they’re in a really good spot, so for this Beast Mastery Hunter, it’s going to be right behind the ranged hunters in A tier.
The changes to Aspect of Lion, it now brings attack damage, which is a significant change for melee groups. And then Survival Hunter is right below them. They’re all pretty much in the same spot. If you’re playing a hunter right now, you have three very solid specs to choose from. You know different play styles, and now is definitely a good time to be a hunter into Season of Discovery.
This is the current tier list on PTR, this is a pretty accurate description of DPS situation of these classes in their current state on PTR, but before release, or even after release, maybe they will get more changes, we’ll have to wait and see, or maybe they will surprise everyone!
