The annual Undaunted Celebration Event is finally back, running from September 12th to September 24th. If this is your first time participating in this event, you may have a lot of questions: What rewards are there? How to participate? How many Event Tickets can I get? What can I redeem Event Tickets for? Can I play alone? How to join a group?

But don’t worry, this is where this guide comes in. Here, we will cover everything you need to know about this Undaunted Event so that even new characters can get the most out of the event!

How To Join Undaunted?

Undaunted will bring you additional event rewards when you complete Group Dungeons throughout Tamriel! In addition to Event Tickets and all the shiny Style Pages, the biggest benefit of this event is that you get a second Curated Set from each dungeon you complete, so get ready to collect those event boxes and complete some Dungeon Set Collections.

Once you reach level 10, you can join Undaunted and start queuing for Group Dungeons under Group & Activity Finder.

But to get the rewards, you don’t have to complete a dungeon using one of Queue Finders, or even a Premade Group Finder. You can bring a friend and companion with you, or go it completely solo if you’re strong enough.

You can enter a dungeon on foot from a dungeon location on land, or head to them while your group is inside, skipping Queue Finder entirely.

Since all that’s required is defeating the last boss, base game dungeons are faster, so many queues will place you in Fungal Grotto and other quick, easy dungeons.

Glory Of The Undaunted

You can participate in Undaunted Celebration simply by completing a dungeon. But for those new to the event, you can pick up the introductory quest, Glory of the Undaunted, by talking to any Undaunted Enclave NPC, and by heading to any Impresario’s tent or picking it up for free at Crown Store.

If you haven’t reached Undaunted Enclave when you accept the quest, it will tell you exactly where to go! Once you’ve completed the introductory quest, you can earn Event Boxes and Tickets simply by completing dungeons!

Event Tickets

The first time you defeat the final boss of a dungeon each day, you’ll earn 2 Event Tickets, which means you can earn a total of 26 Event Tickets throughout the event. I must remind you that you can only hold a maximum of 12 Tickets at a time, so be sure to check your balance before running the entire dungeon!

If you don’t have Gold Road Chapter, and don’t plan on paying to get it before Gold Road Celebration Event at the end of the month, it’s recommended that you keep at least 10 Event Tickets on hand at the end of the event, as you won’t be able to collect any Tickets afterward.

During the event, Impresario has the first 2 fragments of Anchorborn Welwa Mount, which is also the quarters morph of Molag Bal Illusion Imp Pet. In addition, Impresario also carries a number of different Opal Style Pages.

Reward Boxes

Opal Weapon Styles always drops from Gold Reward Boxes and has a chance to drop from Purple Boxes. You get one Gold Box per day when you first loot the final boss of a dungeon. You can get Purple Boxes by defeating any other final dungeon boss of the day.

Solo players can also get Purple Boxes from daily explorations in Bolgrul, but you can’t get Tickets or Gold Boxes from them. The boxes you pick up from dungeon bosses also drop an additional Curated Set of items from completed dungeons. Remember to bind your boss drops before opening the box to minimize duplication and complete the set faster! Of course, even if you get some duplicate gear, you can choose to trade it with other players who need it for extra ESO Gold gains.

Daily Undaunted Pledges

This year’s Celebration Event also adds some incentive for players to complete Daily Undaunted Pledges.

When you reach level 45, you can start accepting Pledges by reading Undaunted Invitation you receive as a level-up reward. Pledges are special daily dungeon quests that require you to complete specific dungeons. You can get Pledges from NPCs in Undaunted Enclave.

This would be a good time to unlock Returned Undaunted Achievement so you can claim Arms Pack in Crown Store if you haven’t already!

Undaunted Keys

Completing Undaunted Pledges rewards Undaunted Keys. Normally, completing a normal dungeon Pledge will reward you 1 Undaunted Key, and completing a Veteran dungeon with Hard Mode activated will reward you 2 Keys. But these Key drops will be doubled during Celebration Event. So now is a good time to get the reward Keys!

And Update 43 brings new Scribing Skills that can be redeemed for Undaunted Keys, as well as Curated Monster Shoulder Set, which costs 8 Keys each. On top of that, the event brings even more ways to use them!

If you happen to own a specific Monster Shoulder Style, you can grab an Opal version of the same style from Undaunted vendors for 50 Keys, or you can grab Mystery Boxes that offer random Opal Shoulder Style Pages for 25 Keys. So this is a great time to farm and spend as many Keys as possible!

Opal Monster Mask Style Pages

You can also get Opal Monster Mask Style Pages by completing specific dungeons in Veteran Mode when you loot the ultimate boss, and the chances increase as you complete Veteran Hard Mode. The newest Mask this year will come from a DLC dungeon, Bloodroot Froge!

How To Conquer Dungeons Efficiently?

Before tackling a dungeon, check your food buffs, potion buffs, and characters. It’s good to know and understand the characters you’re queueing for. Stick together, avoid getting overwhelmed, manage your resources wisely, and don’t get discouraged by initial failures or bad social interactions. Practice makes perfect.

Don’t forget that talking to your group can help a lot, and joining a guild can give you another way to form a group with more like-minded people. Most importantly, have fun!
