Path of Exile 2: ExileCon Announcement Keynote stream

Path of Exile has been crawling and looting in the dungeon for six years, but this weekend is the biggest event in the history of Grinding Gear Games. This weekend, developers welcome thousands of ExileCon enthusiasts from around the world to participate in New Zealand's first ExileCon. The conference will celebrate everything in the highly acclaimed dungeon crawler, and will also look forward to the next major update to the game through Friday's ExileCon announcement keynote.

The trailer first escapes its execution by the lending hero, then transitions to the traditional top-down view and shows off the new enemies and abilities of the game. The darkness and terrible enemies and environment of the first game seemed to be coming back this time, but the trailer faded out, revealing a character running on the boat, suggesting that the player might travel to the new distant land this time.

The ExileCon announcement reveals that the game will adopt a new seven-screen storyline with a tempting phrase "one game, two battles." Players can choose to play the Battle of Exile 2 campaign or the original game, but both will lead to the same endgame. Path of Exile 2 will also have all the same extensions added to Path of Exile 2.

Path of Exile 2 will be equipped with 19 new ascending classes that will have the same prototypes as the Exiles in the original game, but with different functions. This update will introduce a new skill gem system to replace the previous skill system, and players are allowed to perform the same level of customization without the hassle of the old system.

Grinding Gear Games clearly stated on the Path of Exile 2 website that the game has not yet been released. However, it does mention that developers hope to start testing in the second half of 2020. Next year, Path of Exile 2 will launch a large expansion of 4.0.0. This will exceed the average expansion range, and Grinding Gear Games wants to celebrate this milestone upgrade with more content than ever before.
