Diablo 4 Season 12: Obducite Farming Guide After Horadric Strongrooms Nerf - Best Farming Methods & Loops
Obducite is one of the most important materials in Diablo 4, and a primary currency that can be quite scarce when crafting equipment.
It allows you to perform Master Upgrades on your equipment, granting powerful stat bonuses. This crucial material is essential for maximizing gear and attributes in the final stages of Diablo 4.
However, to slow down your leveling process, Obducite rewards from Horadric Strongrooms have been significantly reduced after Diablo 4 Season 12 update.
This means that the amount of Obducite you can obtain in Nightmare Dungeon's Chambers, as well as through monster farming, has been greatly reduced. The good news is that Obducite storage limit has been increased.
To obtain Obducite in Diablo 4 Season 12, you'll need to farm Nightmare Dungeons, Infernal Hordes, and Kurast Undercity in rotation to compensate for the impact of this nerf. Horadric Strongrooms remain the primary source of Obducite.
Primary SourcesHoradric Strongrooms are special challenge rooms in Nightmare Dungeons. These mini-dungeons are short, fast-paced, and feature numerous enemies with unique mechanics. Horadric Strongrooms aren't a must-see in Nightmare Dungeons, but if your goal is to obtain Obducite, you must invest the time to explore them, as $1 drops very rarely outside of Horadric Strongrooms now.
Acquisition StrategiesStrongrooms in Nightmare Dungeon spawn randomly. You can increase your chances of finding a Strongroom by selecting Torment and trying to Nightmare Dungeon affixes in Horadric Strongroom and Treasure Breach. If you find Treasure Breach and there are no Bloodied Sigils inside, you can farm approximately 700 to 1,000 Obducite.
Strongroom Sigils can also help, but they seem to be rarer than last season. They appear approximately once every 30 Treasure Beaches. Strongroom Sigils can also drop from random locations like the Pit and Whispers chests.
You can also obtain Nightmare Dungeon Sigils with Strongrooms affix (guaranteed to appear in the dungeon) by defeating Ashava. Season chests can also drop free Strongroom Sigils, but the probability is very low.
In Nightmare Dungeon, you need to watch out for flashes and unique sounds, otherwise it will be difficult to find Strongroom portal. Once you find the portal, defeat the ambush monster to open it and enter Strongroom.
Tactical ArrangementOnce inside Strongroom, your main objective is to open Grand Horadric Cache and obtain Obducite through it. You need to acquire Horadric Attunement as quickly as possible, as this value affects your final reward. You have 100 seconds to fill Attunement bar. Each death incurs a penalty, similar to the Pit gameplay.
You can choose to activate up to 3 Horadric Statues. The higher the difficulty level, the more statues you can activate. These statues may provide buffs or increase risks, but they also bring greater rewards.
Choosing the right Horadric Statues can completely transform your experience in Strongrooms: stack buffs, summon more powerful enemies, or both.
You gain Attunement with each monster kill. Completing Pillar Ritual activates a 10-second buff that grants +2 Attunement score for every monster killed. Using Sacrifice Shrines will also create portals at your location faster, attracting enemy ambushes and granting even more Attunement.
Gaining ObduciteWhen time runs out, or you reach a certain amount of Attunement, a boss will appear. Defeating the boss completes Strongrooms challenge. After the battle, open Grand Horadric Cache to obtain Obducite and Nightmare Upgrade Runes. The higher your Attunement score, the better the loot you receive.
Upon leaving Horadric Strongrooms, you'll gain a buff that lasts until the end of Nightmare dungeon. You'll receive a boost to experience, reputation, and gold. However, what we need most is Obducite buff: increased Obducite gained from killing monsters in this dungeon. This allows us to acquire more Obducite within the dungeon.
Therefore, you'll need to repeatedly farm Horadric Strongrooms, ideally using a build with fast movement and strong AoE clearing capabilities, and teaming up with players who have Strongrooms Sigils to obtain Obducite needed for the season.
Other MethodsYou can also solo or team up to challenge Infernal Hordes or Kurast Undercity.
While more difficult, you can obtain additional Greater Affixes from the enormous chest at the end of Infernal Hordes. If you also want to upgrade your gear, Infernal Hordes is undoubtedly the most efficient way to acquire Obducite.
Kurast Undercity is a multi-level dungeon with unique bosses and mechanics, spread across three different areas. It's a race against time, accumulating points by killing specific enemies and completing events.
This event is available year-round and can help you level up your character and obtain a small amount of Obducite.
However, the most effective method is still farming Horadric Strongrooms. Although Diablo 4 Season 12 significantly nerfed the base drop rate and drop chance of Obducite, by adjusting your game strategy and time allocation, and cooperating with players who share the same goal, you can still maintain your progress towards endgame gear enhancement.
Is Lauma worth pulling in Genshin Impact 6.5? | Nefer and Columbina make her a legend
Lauma reappears in Genshin Impact 6.5, and her value has greatly increased with the addition of Nefer and Columbina. Is she worth pulling for? Don't worry, we'll detail Lauma's skills, team compositions, and everything you need to know about her.
As a five-star Dendro Catalyst user, Lauma is undoubtedly the best Dendro support in the game, completely surpassing Nahida. Her core gameplay revolves around significantly enhancing all Bloom reactions, especially Lunar-Bloom, while providing excellent grass application and high Lunar-Bloom individual damage.
Core MechanicsWhen Lauma is in the team, normal Bloom reactions become Lunar-Bloom reactions, but the core appearance and base damage remain unchanged. Triggering a Bloom reaction generates a Verdant Dew, one every 2.5 seconds, up to a maximum of 3 Verdant Dews.
Characters can consume Verdant Dews to trigger Lunar-Bloom damage.
Furthermore, this passive ability also grants a 14% increase to the entire team's Lunar-Bloom damage when Lauma reaches 800 Elemental Mastery; it also increases Moonsign level by one, affecting subsequent buffs.
Ascendant Gleam state is activated when there are at least two Moonsign characters in the team.
Skill DetailsLauma's standard attack damage is low, but her Charged Attack is similar to Arlecchino's exploration skill. Lauma transforms into a deer and leaps forward, and can also double jump, making it ideal for exploration.
Lauma's core skill is Elemental Skill. Whether activated via Tap or Hold, it generates a circular area that follows the current character for 15 seconds, dealing AoE Dendro damage every 2 seconds based on attack power and Elemental Mastery.
Tap skill deals one initial AoE Dendro, while the Hold skill deals two initial AoE Dendros. The second instance of damage is Lunar-Bloom damage, based on Elemental Mastery and the number of Verdant Dews consumed. This is also Lauma's primary source of burst damage.
Additionally, using Hold requires at least one Verdant Dew in the party, and each Verdant Dew consumed grants 1 stack of Moon Song, up to a maximum of 3 stacks. This is crucial for casting Elemental Burst.
Elemental Burst itself doesn't deal damage, but upon casting, it grants 18 stacks of Pale Hymn. If there are prior Moon Song stacks, each additional stack is converted into 6 Pale Hymn stacks, up to a maximum of 18. This means you can gain a maximum of 36 Pale Hymn stacks.
Pale Hymn is consumed when the party triggers Bloom, Hyperbloom, Burgeon, and Lunar-Bloom, increasing the damage of these reactions based on Lauma's Elemental Mastery.
Weapon SelectionLauma's signature weapon is Nightweaver's Looking Glass, with low base attack damage but high Elemental Mastery.
When an Elemental Skill deals Hydro or Dendro damage, it grants an additional 60 Elemental Mastery. When a teammate triggers Lunar-Bloom, they gain an additional 60 Elemental Mastery.
If both are active simultaneously, the entire team receives a 120% increase in Bloom damage, an 80% increase in Hyperbloom or Burger damage, and a 40% increase in Lunar-Bloom damage.
However, this weapon's drawback is that it provides no energy. An alternative is Etherlight Spindlelute, or Favonius Codex or Prototype Amber. If you don't have enough Genesis Crystals to redeem Primogems, it's best to get Genshin Impact top up first to supplement your supply.
Team Composition and Character SynergyA recommended team composition is Lauma, Nefer, Columbiana, and a fourth character.
Nefer is currently the second strongest DPS, second only to certain Zibai setups, and even excluding Mavuika's high-difficulty combos. Without Lauma, Nefer's damage drops dramatically, making him highly reliant on her.
Columbina provides three additional Verdant Dews, allowing Nefer and Lauma to use their sustained damage abilities to deal full damage. Without Columbina, Verdant Dew generation is insufficient, prioritizing Nefer, and Lauma can only use Tap, resulting in significant damage loss. Columbina is an indispensable member of this team.
For the fourth member, Nahida is highly recommended because she provides energy to the team, synergizes well with the team, and has a long skill duration. The team is short on energy; if you have other characters you feel can also effectively provide energy, you can try them.
Another approach is to use Lauma's Constellation Lv.1 to transform her into a healer, making Lauma more versatile, increasing team damage, and eliminating the energy issue.
Of course, there are other team compositions to choose from.
Use DPS Columbina and Lauma with Ineffa or Nilou. Or choose Linnea to form a complete Lunar team.
Lauma remains the best Dendro choice for these teams, completely replacing Nahida. Because Lauma's kit is entirely Bloom-centric, she performs only moderately in Aggravate, Spread, and Burning teams.
Is Lauma a must-pick?If you play Nefer, DPS Columbina, or any Bloom-related team, then Lauma is definitely your top choice, a five-star recommendation. Even if you don't play these teams, she's the best Dendro for Hyperbloom and Burgeon, and is F2P friendly.
In summary, while Lauma isn't the most versatile support, she's almost irreplaceable in her specialized area.
That concludes the detailed guide to the returning character Lauma. Hopefully, after reading this guide, you've made your own judgment. Go online and play!
Helldivers 2 New Warbond Leak: Illuminate Missions, New Enemies, FRV Flamethrower, Mech & Meridia Black Hole Story Details
Helldivers, we're about to see all-new Warbond content in Helldivers 2!
A whole new world of gameplay awaits, leading us into a more brutal and exciting world. New mission types, enemies, weapons, and vehicles, along with a thrilling new storyline, are highly anticipated.
This Warbond will probably remain strategy-based. Let's take a look at update details and see what they mean for our next deployment.
New Mission TypesWe're getting a brand new type of mission. There are also some data mining results. Let's start with Illuminate Missions, including Neutralized Anomalous Artifacts, Grave Robbing, Interrupt Ritual, Destroy Archives, Destroy Laser Obelisk, and Board Mother Ship. We might encounter some interrupted missions, even space battles, for substantial rewards and $1.
Entering an Illuminate ship sounds pretty cool, meaning Illuminate has been reintroduced and is likely the most likely enemy we'll encounter next. He also showed us the hub of the indeterminate process, intergalactic network node, concerning the number of monoliths, gravitational anchors, and irregular voteless behavior.
New EnemiesIlluminate Missions introduces several new enemies, including Illuminate Goal, Priests, Clergy, and Obelisk.
Illuminates are an ancient and highly advanced race desperately seeking to reclaim their former galactic dominance. These mind-controlling, alien-hating beings are impossible to communicate with and must be eliminated; they are one of the three main opposing factions in the game.
Iron Sights revealed a new planetary effect: gravitational boulders created by Illuminates. This new planetary effect allows Illuminates to construct numerous boulders on a single planet.
These boulders can be used to attack other planets, manipulating their gravitational fields in some way. Our goal as Hell Stalkers is clearly to stop them.
We will also be introducing a new enemy variant, Bio Sport Titan, whose theme revolves around Terminates. Three new enemy units have been added: Ghoul Cultist, Illuminate Cultist, and Observer.
New Planets and BiomesIn the story, Spore Burst Strain is being tested on planet 269. However, the current game API only covers planet 266; planet 267 is Mars. This means we will be welcoming three new planets and biomes.
The three biomes are likely to be Snowy Forest, Regular Forest Biome, and Oasis. The new planets may be Kuran Bay, Arbroath, Kursa, Biceps, Adrenal 8, and Terrence.
New VehiclesWe now have some information about FRV modifications.
The first major modification is called FRV Heavy, which is largely the same as the standard FRV.
The second modification is called FRV Supply, which adds three supply crates to the rear. If you're the type of stealth player who likes to carry supply packs, or if you're the kind of player who enjoys helping teammates by delivering supplies, then this FRV modification might be the perfect choice.
The third and biggest change is FRV flamethrower. It not only features a flamethrower but also a large grille, potentially capable of crushing enemies and dealing significant damage.
New Mech and WeaponsTwo new mechs are coming soon, possibly launching simultaneously. The first is Lumberer, which you might have seen in Helldivers 1. It's a cannon equipped with a flamethrower and features XO49 logo on its side.
Unfortunately, in the initial Data Mine files, it was equipped with a Strategy launcher, but we haven't seen it in the latest version.
The other is Mech Breacher, which has a large shield in front and what appears to be a Grenade launcher in its other hand.
New weapons include a disposable machine gun with Helldivers logo, similar to Trident laser shotgun, potentially offering strong attrition capabilities; SMG Solvent, similar to Halo battle rifle; and Laser Rifle Explosives.
Another weapon, Smart Missile Pistol, similar to Smart Pistol in Titanfall 2, and Cowrops grenade are also coming soon. How they will be integrated into the game and what roles they will play remain unknown.
New StoryThe new story will be a significant turning point, related to the activation of DSS and Star of Peace laser. Star of Peace will only pose a threat to enemies on Super-Earths, and this powerful new technology will be deployed immediately. We have already tested DSS, destroying a planet and creating a black hole.
Something terrible is about to happen at Meridia Black Hole, possibly an implosion or other catastrophic event. Iron Sights revealed three words that foreshadow the black hole's collapse: Hide, Spy, and Explode. Meridia Black Hole and implosion may lead to new activities.
Illuminate intergalactic network node is closely related to the other units that will be added. The structures on this planet allow Illuminate remnants to communicate with the outside world, which may be part of their efforts to increase their scale. In the new storyline, most of Illuminates remain trapped outside the galaxy. They must not be allowed to return. We can boldly speculate that Illuminates are about to receive a significant buff.
After this update, we won't see any other new content for the rest of May. June update will likely be related to Super Earth. Future updates will bring substantial content additions to Helldivers 2. From the all-new Illuminate Missions to new vehicles and mechs designed for different tactical roles, the game's replay ability and strategic depth are expected to be significantly expanded. Keep an eye on the storyline developments and let's wait for the new version together.
Boost Your WoW Midnight Gear: Unlocking Set Rewards and Special Effects
In WoW Midnight's new endgame content system, the importance of Set rewards has been elevated to unprecedented levels. This stems not only from the power boosts provided by Set attributes themselves, but also from the revolutionary Catalyst charges mechanic introduced in the new expansion.
The core of gold strategy revolves around how to efficiently utilize this mechanic to push character combat power to its peak at the beginning of the season. Understanding the operating logic of this system is the cornerstone for every player to succeed in Midnight.
Whether players focus on Mythic+, raids, PvP, or Delves, activating Set4 sets becomes the key to unlocking all subsequent resource cycles. With proper build planning, players can complete the leap from zero to four sets within the first month of the season and initiate a virtuous cycle of unlimited Catalyst charges.
Gear PhilosophyWoW Midnight's biggest adjustment to Set system lies in Midnight Season 1 Catalyst Unlocking achievement. Once a character completes their first four-piece set, all endgame content has a chance to drop additional Catalyst charges, a change that alters player strategy.
Previously, players had to carefully manage their resources, hoarding gear in their inventory and waiting for the optimal moment, especially when Catalyst charges were limited.
However, in the new environment, Catalyst charges are no longer scarce, rendering the previous hoarding strategy ineffective and allowing for more flexible gear selection.
Players can now freely catalyst any high-item-level belt they acquire into the corresponding slot of their class set. This means that a character's optimal gear configuration is no longer limited to the traditional five-piece set plus individual pieces, but can extend to any four of the best-attribute slots from an eight-piece set.
This build approach requires players to re-evaluate the attribute weighting of each set slot and selectively invest Catalyst charges into the most profitable individual pieces based on their specialization needs.
Since the maximum number of Catalyst charges is eight, and a base charge is gained every two weeks, players need to develop a clear understanding of resource management.
When your charge count is nearing the limit, even if you don't have any specific gear you want to convert, consider catalyzing decent gear pieces in your inventory first to avoid wasting charge points.
StrategyIn Season 1, all bosses except the final boss will drop specific class and slot sets of $1. The final boss drops Chiming Void Curios trinket, which can be redeemed for any class and slot. Since all difficulties are now available, players should try to complete weekly random raids, as the final reward far outweighs the time investment.
Every slot in Great Vault has a chance to contain Set pieces, regardless of the content the player is participating in when filling those slots. Completing Mythic+ dungeons (levels 10 and above) grants Myth Track Set option, completing Bountiful delves (levels 8 and above) grants Hero Track option, and even random raids or open-world content have a chance to yield Set pieces.
Therefore, before the weekly reset, players should fill all available slots in Great Vault as much as possible. More options mean a higher probability of obtaining set pieces, and the gear level gap between different difficulties can be compensated for through subsequent Catalyst conversions.
The core of Great Vault strategy is quantity over quality; players need to ensure they have enough options before selecting the pieces best suited to their current build needs.
In addition to the base charges every two weeks, players can earn extra Catalyst charges by completing specific achievements. Reaching a 1600 rating in PvP and a 2000 rating in Mythic+ are relatively easy goals to achieve. A 2000 rating is roughly equivalent to completing five level 10 Mythic+ dungeons plus several level 8-9 dungeons, which is not unattainable for most players participating in endgame content.
In contrast, defeating the final boss L'ura on Heroic or Mythic difficulties is extremely difficult and is not recommended as the primary path to obtaining Catalyst charges.
A sound strategy is to prioritize achieving a Mythic +2000 rating, while PvP players can simultaneously aim for a 1600 rating, thus gaining 2-3 extra charges early in the season and significantly shortening the time it takes to complete a four-set.
Visual EffectsMythic difficulty set and Gladiator set feature larger lighting effects and more pronounced helmet and shoulder animations. Previously, these effects were limited to the highest difficulty gear, but in WoW Midnight, completing specific achievements unlocks these additional animations for all colorways and difficulties.
To obtain Gleaming Sunmote mode, one must meet one of the following conditions: defeat the final boss Solora on Mythic difficulty, achieve a Mythic +2500 rating, or reach Elite in PvP.
Given the extremely high difficulty of Mythic Solora, most players should aim for a Mythic +2500 rating or PvP Elite. While a rating of 2500 is numerically higher than 2000, it remains an achievable goal for players focused on Mythic+, through proper key level planning and team coordination.
WarbandOnce one character obtains Gleaming Sunmote mode, all characters in the entire Warband will benefit. This means players can choose their preferred playstyle and focus on achieving the corresponding achievement, after which all class sets within Warband will automatically receive the visual effects.
In Transmog interface, the unlocked set piece will appear as two identical equipment entries. One has additional animation effects, and the other is the basic version.
Players need to manually select the version with effects to see the full visual effects. Furthermore, even after obtaining Gleaming Sunmote mode, the corresponding set's Transmog appearance still needs to be unlocked first.
The core value of WoW Midnight Gold lies in transforming set acquisition from passive waiting to active management. By understanding Catalyst's infinite charge mechanic, strategically planning weekly Great Vault and Mythic+ routes, and synergizing cosmetic unlocks with combat power upgrades, players can establish a gear advantage early in the season.
This build system is not only suitable for hardcore players focused on strength but also provides a clear path for cosmetic collectors. Mastering this methodology will allow you to maintain a competitive edge throughout Midnight final content.
