What To Know From Dune Awakening’s Latest Patch 1.1.15.0? - Fixes And Problems
Dune: Awakening is a well-known MMO survival game that combines PvP and PvE. After its first release on June 25, 2025, it was welcomed by many gamers in a short period of time.
In my opinion, Dune Awakening’s road to popularity is partly because of the influence of big IP. The game is adapted from a well-known novel and movie. It can be said that this powerful IP has brought it a certain amount of heat before the game is released, at least novel and movie fans will be curious about the game.
However, it is far from enough to attract players. Being able to retain players is also an indispensable condition for the game to succeed. Dune Awakening itself must have a very good game mechanism, can bring players a good game experience, and have its own unique style, which is the basis for a game to be popular all over the world.
Now, Dune: Awakening has recently released a new patch, which has made a series of improvements to the deep desert. Next, let’s take a look at the specific content of this patch and what impact it will bring!
Balancing PvE And PvP
In Dune Awakening, PvE and PvP are optional. Previously, Deep Desert was not only a traditional PvP melee area, but also had some PvE areas. This patch 1.1.15.0 has balanced the activity areas of PvE and PvP.
In patch 1.1.15.0, we can see that it takes a full 30 seconds for players to leave PvP melee area, which brings a lot of challenges to all players and makes PvP are more challenging.
However, Dune Awakening patch 1.1.15.0 allows tier six endgame resources to refresh more evenly in safer areas, making them easier to obtain. This is more friendly for players who don’t like confrontation and prefer PvE mode. They can get Stervidium and Titanium without having to fight or confront other players, and better farm Dune Awakening Solari.
Respawn Timer
The game developers also mentioned in patch 1.1.15.0 that they added a random element to the respawn timer of unique loot containers. This not only affects unique loot containers and containers containing schematics, but also makes the respawn time of treasure chests unpredictable.
I think this change should be related to deep desert labs and PvP shipwrecks, so we can’t just camp in PvP areas to claim rewards.
Sorting Crafting Components
Patch 1.1.15.0 also sorted the crafting components of Plleanium tier. Shipwrecks and buried treasure will drop components from any location, and each item will drop its own selected component at a random location, but they are very limited.
And now PVE loot in Deep Desert has a chance to drop different unique items, you may get different blueprints from PVE area and PvP area.
Landsraad Quests
Landsraad quests have been changed in this patch. Before, you could no longer get rewards after the quest was completed. Now, you can continue to participate and get personal rewards regardless of whether you complete the quest.
Fixes
Contract rewards will no longer drop, so you will not miss rewards even if your backpack is full. Pentashield surfaces will no longer overlap with existing pentashield surfaces. The bug of building your own vehicle with items from other players’ inventory has also been fixed.
The developers have also improved the stability of the game this time, which has promoted the improvement of the player’s gaming experience. It also reduces the situation where sandworms push vehicles under terrain conditions, so players no longer have to worry about vehicles disappearing. New audio alarms have also been added to PVP area to give players a sense of hearing freshness.
Existing Problems
Although this patch has made many improvements to the game, there are still malicious sabotage issues in the game that have not been resolved.
For example, in PvE area, when a group of players ambush you while driving a carrier, they will want to push you into the sand and let you be eaten by bugs because you are too slow.
But this behavior does not benefit them at all, and this behavior should not happen in PvE area. I hope that the collision of ornithopter can be removed in PVE area in the future.
In short, patch 1.1.15.0 brings some very significant improvements, but there are other loopholes that have been ignored by the game developers. I hope that Dune: Awakening will bring me more and better game experience in the future, making it easier for players to farm Dune Awakening Solari.
