It seems to be the trend that bringing games to more platforms, and recently 2K also announced that all 2K series will be available on Google Stadia staring with NBA 2K20, all Stadia users now can buy NBA 2K20 in the storefront among 14 countries. That being said, players no longer need to constantly update or add patch notes, because Google servers have automatically updated the latest versions for all games.

Surely, this is the result expected by Google, but the fact is that when NBK 2K20 came to Google Stadia, some players encountered a screen asking them to wait patiently for an update to download when playing NBA 2K20.

Although the update is fast, it still exceeds the expectations of Google. Players shouldn't have to wait any longer, they just enjoy the latest updates when pressing Play.

As for the wrong issue, Google staff quickly explained that this was a bug within the game that's showing an unintended screen, and adding that the developing team is working hard to solve the problems. This is not the first time Google's server has made a mistake, but it is just a bug to fix. NBK 2K20 itself is more meaningful than it is. 

Google Stadia is a free download and update platform, but you need to purchase a separate game. NBA 2K20 Standard Edition is selling for $59.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition is available for $79.99. The Legend Edition could be bought with $99.99, given the 100,000 Virtual Currency, MT cards and digital items.
