Recently, some Monopoly GO players have expressed their dissatisfaction with the in-game latest Treasure Dig event on social media. The main complaints of these players focus on what they believe is too much of an incentive to spend, while the rewards are not satisfactory.

Speaking of insufficient rewards, latest Peg-E event has also disappointed many players, especially compared to previous events. The rewards offered this time seem insignificant.

Why Are Monopoly GO Players Unhappy About The Latest Dig Event And Peg-E Event?

Players Aren’t Happy About Latest Dig Event

Although Haunted Treasures event adopts a Halloween theme, its rules and gameplay are roughly the same as past Treasure Digs events.

First, players need to earn pickaxe coins by completing various tasks. These pickaxe coins are the key tool for digging for treasure. Once enough pickaxe coins have been accumulated, players can dig for treasure from the limited-time event screen.

Since the location of the treasure is semi-random, each player’s location in the game may be different. Each event level requires players to dig up different types and quantities of items. As the event progresses, the rewards offered in subsequent stages will be more generous than in the previous stage.

However, some players have questioned the progress curve of the Haunted Treasures event. Specifically, this dissatisfaction is mainly concentrated on two aspects:

First, it is difficult to obtain pickaxe coins, which makes it difficult for free players to have enough resources to dig more treasures, and they think that the setting of this event is not very friendly to non-paying users.

Second, even if a lot of time and effort are invested, players may not obtain the expected Monopoly Go Stickers because of the semi-randomness of the treasure location and the uncertainty of the required items. This makes many players feel frustrated.

Players Think That The Progress Curve Of New Event Is Difficult To Complete

In the past, Monopoly GO treasure hunting events usually require about 200 to 400 pickaxes to complete completely. This number varies depending on factors such as the number of treasures in the specific event and the pickaxe bundle rewards and bonuses offered for a limited time.

However, in the recent Haunted Treasures event, some players claimed that they had spent more than 500 pickaxes to complete the entire event.

One player who was very dissatisfied with the progress of the event even described his experience on the forum, saying that the overall experience of completing the event was very bad. He mentioned that he was very frustrated and disappointed because he had to invest a lot of time and resources to complete the event because of the steep progress curve.

This feedback is not limited to individual players. Many players who participated in Haunted Treasures event expressed similar dissatisfaction. They believe that the progress requirements of this event were too high compared to previous events, which seriously affected the game experience.

For this issue, the development team may need to re-evaluate the design and reward mechanism of the event to ensure that future events can better balance challenge and playability.

Players Aren’t Happy About Latest Peg-E Event

In order to maintain player interest and attract players to continue to return to this mobile game, Monopoly Go regularly holds various Partner and Dig events and Sticker Booms, and occasionally offers free dice rolls.

Besides these regular events, Monopoly GO also specially launched some seasonal events. These events not only increase the fun of the game but also provide players with additional challenges and rewards.

Recently, Monopoly GO has added elements of Marvel heroes, and this cooperation may open the door to future cross-border cooperation. While such activities have successfully attracted some lost players to return to the past, the latest Peg-E event has caused some disagreements.

Players Think That The Profits Offered By New Event Are Relatively Low

Many Monopoly GO players think that the latest event has a significant change in design compared with previous Monopoly GO Peg-E events, especially in terms of reward structure and participation methods. First, the profits offered by this event are relatively low, and no free dice roll opportunities are provided on its progress track.

To obtain Peg-E reward, players have only more than four days to participate in the mini-game. If they can make full use of this time and successfully complete all challenges, each player can accumulate up to 21,000 points.

The last reward provided by Peg-E event is a Swap Pack, which contains stickers with 3 to 5 star levels as prizes. Although some lucky people can directly obtain the highest level, 5-star stickers, many people will choose to exchange their 4-star stickers for 3-star stickers out of personal preference or according to the current collection status.

In the latest Monopoly GO Peg-E event, players need to consume a certain number of dice to complete tasks and obtain rewards. However, because of the limited number of free dice provided by the event, many participants found that they could not make up for their losses through these rewards. Although the in-game store provides the option to obtain dice, it is still a considerable burden for some players.

According to some players’ feedback, the green, pink and yellow sticker packs are almost useless for players who have reached a certain stage of the game. This shows that Peg-E event may be more suitable for new players rather than old players who have invested a lot of time and energy in the game.

In addition, some fans also pointed out that the next Monopoly GO Sticker Boom, which started immediately after Peg-E event, also caused dissatisfaction. This is because the Sticker Boom greatly increased the number of stickers players get from the sticker pack, making the previous Peg-E event rewards seem relatively less attractive.

The development team needs to seriously consider this feedback and make corresponding adjustments in the design and reward mechanism of future activities to ensure that all players can have a satisfying experience in the game.
