EA has announced that it will release the first update of Franchise mode on November 12th, which will solve the problems that many gamers have complained about, including an accurate playoff bracket, player card career statistics, dev trait regression adjustments and X-Factor customization, these may improve gamers' gaming experience to some extent, but to build a perfect Franchise mode, EA has a lot to do.

Smarter AI will appear

This update will provide new guidelines for the CPU draft logic. So there may be smarter AI, especially when it comes to quarterbacks. Undo FA signing (offseason only)

Commissioners will be able to undo their free-agent contracts during the offseason. You can access the transaction log by clicking on a signature and reverting it, which means that the player will return to the free-agent pool.

Team Override Settings

This will definitely become a popular feature because it will provide gamers with a level playing field. Commissioners will have the ability to turn on/off, or maintain individual settings for Heat Seeker tackling, Ball Hawk, and Switch assist.

Draft Tools

The draft is attractive in the offseason, but for the current Madden 21, it is not ideal. So EA has set a pause/resume function, and you will be able to assign autopilot.

Play Cool-down

House Rules will soon be introduced in Franchise mode. These rules can prevent the game from being attacked by spam. Play cool-down will determine how long you have to wait before calling the same gameplay again.
