Final Fantasy XIV will get a new NieR Automata-themed patch that also includes new gear, new dungeons, new games + and fellowship.

In the revolutionary patch description for the Final Fantasy XIV official website, we learned a little more about the upcoming "Shadowbringers" extension. The 5.1 patches titled "Medical Oath, Cruelty" is based on the alliance raid of NieR Automata, following the end in the last campaign.

This update includes new equipment, a different dungeon called Cosmos, a whole new feature called "Scholarship" and New Game Enhancement.
