How To Think About The Official Content Revealed In The Upcoming Diablo 4 Season 7 PTR?
In the upcoming Diablo 4 Season 7 PTR, the official showed some of the upcoming features and changes. At present, the update content of Season 7 is worth looking forward to.
Season 7 will draw inspiration from Diablo Season 2 and launch powerful new skills for players to learn. Unique runes and gem types can also be used to further enhance builds to help you win more easily in the game.
Even better, the much-anticipated Armory feature is finally available. This system should make it easier to save and swap loadouts in Diablo 4. In addition, Season 7 will also usher in some quality of life changes, and the player experience will be greatly improved.
It can be foreseen that these changes will bring a lot of fresh experiences to players. The following will introduce some of the updated content revealed by the game officials in Diablo 4 Season 7 PTR, including Witchcraft Power, Armory Tools, Class Buffs and so on. Let’s take a look!
Witchcraft Power
The theme of Diablo 4 Season 7 is about Witchcraft Power. It follows Season of Blood, one of the most popular temporary leagues to date, and especially its Vampiric Powers. Similar to Season 2’s Vampiric Powers, characters can gain unique powers before the end of the season. Some of these powers can only be found in the world, and you need to find altars in dungeons and activate them.
These bonus powers are a great way to tweak and enhance builds, and it will help players create a more unique set of seasonal loadouts. In the next season, players will have access to new Witchcraft abilities.
The new Diablo 4 powers are divided into three schools. Psyche powers can disrupt and weaken enemies, Eldritch Powers are mainly used for you to deal or enhance your elemental damage, and Growth and Decay Powers include poisons, minions, and stat-draining skills. You’ll need these to deal with a series of dangerous new enemies - they’re called Headrotten, which are both normal enemies and boss enemies.
Headrotten
The main enemy of this season will be Headrotten. These are essentially “green Helltide” of Season 7, with some areas becoming areas where Fugitive Head and Headless Husk bosses can appear, and other Whispers of the Dead challenges to complete.
Killing them earns you Restless Rot. This unlocks and upgrades new Witchcraft powers and Occult Gems for your character. This process is much more streamlined than it was in Season 2.
Headrotten can also be found and killed in Headhunt areas like Helltide. These areas also double as Whispers. Earning reputation with the coven is tied to Whispers.
Class Buffs
Many classes in the game have been buffed. Some of this is due to changes to how certain passives work.
As for Spiritborn, which has been a concern for players, there were several issues that caused it to be more powerful than expected in Season 6, and many players felt it was overpowered. This will improve once these issues are fixed in Season 7.
Loot Pool Updates
As with every new season, the loot pool will expand with new unique items, and some existing loot pools will be adjusted.
Armory Tools
Another big new addition is Armory. Players have often called that Diablo 4 Armory is an in-development feature that would arrive eventually, and now it’s finally ready.
Armory offers five loadout slots per character, allowing you to save and load multiple loadouts per character, and each loadout can also have a different Paragon panel. Even better, once you’ve saved your loadouts, you don’t have to spend extra Diablo 4 Gold to switch between them - even if they require different paragon loadouts.
You can find Armory in a number of places, including Tree of Whispers, Sanctuary towns, and even within Citadel.
Quality Of Life Changes
Players will see some quality of life changes in their Whispers grind in Diablo 4 Season 7, including the following.
- The town around the Tree of Whispers has been upgraded: The upgrade includes more services and a layout that is easier to navigate.
- Paragon Board: This board allows players to customize builds after reaching the game’s level cap. Starting next season, all Paragon experience earned in a season will be added to the player’s Eternal Realm progress. This Paragon experience migration mechanism should give people the opportunity to get rewards in Eternal Realm without having to worry about seasonal grinds.
In addition, there are very convenient features such as Raven of the Tree, and the player experience will be greatly improved by then.
These are some of the updates that may be launched in Diablo 4 Season 7. PTR client will be open from Tuesday, December 3 to Tuesday, December 10. This time, PTR will include seasonal content, not just core gameplay adjustments for the new season. PC players can try out the upcoming features and changes in it.
If you are interested in the updated content, you may wish to experience it in Diablo 4 Season 7 PTR first. But as usual, you need to log in to Battle.net to join it.
