Is The Untradeable Chaos Armor In Diablo 4 Season 10 A Good Thing?

Diablo 4 Season 10 is themed on Infernal Chaos. The entire Sanctuary is filled with chaos, and the emergence of a new seasonal item completely subverts the original game landscape: Chaos Armor.

A key focus of Season 10, Chaos Armor is a new variant of existing unique items, granting enhanced, unique powers to the equipped item. They are only available in slots unavailable for existing unique items, thus opening up new build possibilities.

However, the synergy between standard equipment and their Chaos Armor counterparts is so good, but their difficulty in obtaining them this season is a significant headache.

As a key mechanic in determining build leaderboards this season, players can no longer use Diablo 4 gold to trade Chaos Armor with other players in Auction House, as in previous seasons. Because of limitations in Season 10, players must earn Chaos Armor through personal grinding and farming.

Currently, in Diablo 4, players can collect Chaos Armor by completing Chaos Rifts, the reworked Infernal Hordes, and defeating Bartuc boss. Importantly, these Chaos Unique drops are often completely random, meaning that obtaining the specific item you need is largely a matter of random chance, making farming significantly more difficult.

How To Obtain Chaos Armor?

There are several ways to obtain Chaos Armor in Diablo 4, including challenging the reworked Infernal Hordes, defeating Bartuc, Lord of Chaos, at the end of Infernal Hordes, and participating in Chaos Rifts that appear around Sanctuary.

Of course, the highest chance of Chaos Armor drops comes from defeating the returning Bartuc boss, especially at Torment 3 and 4 difficulties. However, it's important to note that to challenge Bartuc, Lord of Chaos, you must complete Infernal Hordes and spend 666 Burning Aether. Furthermore, there's another boss waiting for you! So, there's both danger and reward!

If you're not keen on fighting Bartuc, starting in the Infernal Hordes is a great way to get started. In the rewards chests there, you'll have a chance to get a large amount of Diablo 4 gold and, if you're lucky, even Chaos Armor.

An equally random event is closing Chaos Rifts in Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons to obtain Chaos Armor you desire. This is a test of luck and patience.

Additionally, Chaos Armor drops in season 10 are different from previous unique items and can no longer be obtained from Lair Bosses.

Chaos Armor Is Account-Bound

In Diablo 4, players could often complete their ideal build by directly trading specific equipment. However, in Season 10, Chaos Armor, like other Mythic Unique Items in the game, is now account-bound and untradeable. This binding system significantly increases the rarity of Chaos Armor.

While this account-binding system will inevitably make acquiring equipment in Season 10 more challenging, requiring players to invest time and effort to obtain Chaos Armor, the search for the perfect piece of gear will allow players to experience Diablo 4 more immersively. After all, the synergy between Chaos Armor and standard gear is well worth the effort.

We believe this system will provide a positive gaming experience for both players who enjoy exploring and crafting their ideal builds and those who prefer to trade for their desired gear.

That concludes our news regarding the new Chaos Armor. Chaos Armor is a powerful feature that cannot be ignored in Diablo 4 Season 10. Its challenging and luck-based acquisition process, coupled with the account-binding system, will be a challenge for players as they progress through the new season. Are you eager to try it out? We wish you all good luck in your efforts to obtain the perfect gear you desire and unleash your skills in Season 10.
