Road to Glory is a career mode from NCAA Football that was added to College Football 25 a while ago. Players can take part in a variety of competitions as a college football athlete. So players can choose different paths and positions in the game of football.

This mode allows players to immerse themselves in the feeling of being a rugby player and become a star player step by step. This guide will walk you through the different paths and how to upgrade your players.

How To Have Fun In Road To Glory In College Football 25? - Strategies & Tips

Which Path Should You Choose?

There are currently four different paths available in CFB 25 for you to choose from, or you can call them Journeys. If you enjoy a challenge, you can choose Underdog, and for players who want to become a star player with ease, you can choose Elite. Now let’s inspect them.

The first thing to say is that the easiest to complete Elite, you need to start as a 5-Star Recruit. Coupled with your initial overall score of 79 points, it is easy for you to become a star player. In addition, you have one Mental Ability and five Skill Points. As long as you don’t give up and use NCAA 25 Coins to upgrade yourself properly in the subsequent process, you will easily become one of the top ten players.

Slightly worse than Elite is Blue Chip, where you will start your journey as a 4-Star Recruit. At this time, your initial overall score is 75 points, which is also very good. Similarly, you will also get one Mental Ability, but Skill Point will be one less than Elite.

The more challenging path is Contributor, where you will start as a 3-Star Recruit and an overall score of 67 points. You may have difficulty in improving your overall score, but I believe you can do it. In addition, there is no Mental Ability in Contributor, and there are only three Skill Points.

The most challenging one is coming! In Underdog, your initial identity is a 2-Star Recruit with only an overall score of 60 points. It will take a lot of time and effort to upgrade to a star player, but you will get a great sense of accomplishment. Similarly, there is no Mental Ability, only 2 Skill Points for you to use.

Among these paths, only Elite will definitely make you a starter, and the other three will require you to work twice as hard and CFB 25 Coins. But I believe that you can experience the fun of Road to Glory in any path.

Which Position Should You Choose?

In Road to Glory, you can choose one of the following 5 positions:

  • QB
  • HB
  • WR
  • MLB
  • CB

In the game, each position also has different archetypes, and also has its own advantages and disadvantages. You can choose the position that suits you best according to the description of each position.

QB

Field General QB: It has higher Power and IQ, but Elusiveness and Quickness are relatively limited.

Scrambler QB: It also has high Power and IQ, besides super high Elusiveness. But it is relatively limited in Accuracy, Health, and Quickness.

Improviser QB: Compared with the first two, its all data is relatively balanced. But this is another problem. Accuracy, Power, IQ, and Health are not outstanding among all QBs.

HB

Power Back HB: It also has relatively balanced statistics, but it is relatively limited in Elusiveness, Route Running, and Quickness.

Elusive Back HB: It has high Elusiveness and Quickness, but it is also weak in Route Running and Power.

Receiving HB: Compared with Elusive Back HB, Quickness is better, but IQ and Power are weaker.

WR

Deep Threat WR: Quickness is also better, and other attributes are balanced. In addition, IQ, Power, and Elusiveness are relatively limited.

Physical WR: The statistics of this position are relatively balanced, but Power and Quickness are better at the beginning. Elusiveness, IQ, and Quickness are relatively limited.

Route Runner WR: More advantage in Quickness, Route Running, and Elusiveness, but Power and IQ are a bit lacking.

MLB

Field General MLB: IQ and Power are higher in this position, but Pass Rush, Run Stopping, Pass Coverage, and Quickness are relatively low.

Pass Coverage MLB: Again, Quickness is higher, but there is no room for improvement in Power, Pass Rush, Run Stopping, and Quickness.

Run Stopper MLB: Balanced statistics, but Pass Rush, Pass Coverage, and Quickness deserve more attention.

CB

Slot CB: Good in Quickness, Man Coverage, and Hands, but poor in Zone Coverage, and no room for improvement in Run Stopping, Zone Coverage, Power, and Quickness.

Man-to-Man CB: Good in Man Coverage, but needs more attention in Power, Run Stopping, and Quickness.

Zone CB: Good statistics in Quickness and Zone Coverage, but Man Coverage, Power, and Run Stopping are maxed out.

You can choose a position that best suits you based on your own preferences.

How Does Upgrade And Increase Attributes?

Skill Points mentioned in Path section are used to upgrade your attributes. Besides the initial Skill Points, you can also earn them in the game by winning matches or practicing daily.

If you want to get more, you can participate in XP training sessions in Weekly Agenda, which will also reward you with a portion of CFB 25 Coins. You can see the number of Skill Points you currently have available on the upper right part of the screen. Once you are sure that you have enough Skill Points, you can click Upgrade Player in Actions to upgrade yourself.

How Does Get Abilities?

Before introducing how to get abilities, you need to know that Physical and Mental Abilities are given to you when you choose a path, and uncommon abilities will have specific effects on you.

You can get the abilities you want in the Upgrade Player option just mentioned. If you need physical abilities, you can unlock and wear them here. However, for some mental abilities, such as Road Dog and Clearheaded, they can only be unlocked in Weekly Agenda.

Similarly, there are levels between each ability, and the level you currently have available is determined by your current statistics. For example, a quarterback's Silver Sleight of Hand ability requires a play-action attribute of 87. So before you upgrade your abilities, you need to upgrade your hard-to-upgrade attributes first.

The above is the information you need to know and pay attention to in Road to Glory in College Football 25. I hope you can choose your favorite position and path in Road to Glory and work hard to train yourself into a star player!
