Diablo 4 XP farm dungeons took a bit of a hit, as Blizzard really wants to standardize the density of elite monsters overall, sorry Champion's Demise.

Diablo 4 XP farming is going to get a little more grueling all over Sanctuary, as Blizzard makes a pretty big switch to Diablo 4 farming within the RPG game. If you’re a Champion’s Demise grinder in Diablo 4 pay attention, since it looks like the potency of dungeon farming is evolving for the sake of overall balance.

In the most recent round of Diablo 4 1.0.2 hotfix notes, Blizzard says it's making further alterations in elite monster density in Diablo 4 dungeons. “We are standardizing the density of elite monsters that spawn in dungeons to make sure that no particular dungeon is clearly more effective to run through than the others.”

While not expressly stated, Blizzard is probably wanting to bring down the potency of certain XP-farming dungeons, namely Champion’s Demise. This dungeon is really a prime XP farm, used by many such as the first level 100 player because it dumps lots of elite enemies that if you're prepared to cope with them, yield lots of experience.

It may be that other Diablo 4 dungeons have experienced their rate of elite spawns increase too, however, the hotfix only mentions “standardizing,” and never if this means bringing more dungeons up of computer does bring others down.

That’s not every from the Diablo 4 1.0.2 hotfix though, because the other notable change may be the return of two Legendary Aspects, as both Edgemaster’s Aspect and Aspect of Beserk Ripping have returned.

Blizzard says it “Fixed a problem where the damage bonus in the ‘Edgemaster’s Aspect’ Legendary Affix was incorrectly reapplied to Whirlwind whenever a Shout was adopted,” and “Resolved issues associated with ‘Aspect of Berserk Ripping’ and Barbarian’s Two-Handed Sword Expertise which was allowing players to manage unintended levels of damage” too.

Diablo 4 Barbarians can rejoice in the return of Edgemaster’s Aspect and, well, every other Diablo 4 class within the game can too.
