Path of Exile 2 is about to enter Early Access, and as the highly anticipated sequel to Path of Exile is finally here, fans will experience the sequel to one of the most popular games in recent years.
Although Grinding Gear Games has been highly transparent during the development process and has maintained good interaction with the community, there are still some common questions about Path of Exile 2 that have not been answered. The following guide aims to briefly answer some of the most concerned questions of players.
The release date of PoE 2 has been confirmed as December 6, 2024 at 11 am (PST), when the game will be released into Early Access. However, it has not yet been announced when the game will leave Early Access and when the full version will be released.
For players who have been looking forward to this game for a long time, although it will take some time to experience the final version of the content, at least there is now a clear start date for Early Access.
Path of Exile 2 will be available on multiple platforms, including Mac, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S and X. However, it should be noted that Mac users cannot participate in the early access for the time being, but the official said that it will be opened to this platform later.
Regarding the cost, Path of Exile 2 itself plans to be free to all players from the official exit of early access to the official release. However, if you want to experience the charm of Path of Exile 2 in advance, you need to pay a certain amount to obtain the qualification.
Specifically, there are two major ways to enter the early access: one is to get a PoE 2 Supporter Pack, which is divided into three different price points, namely $30, $60 and $100. The second is to unlock the qualification by accumulating a micro-transaction consumption record of $480 in Path of Exile 1.
PoE 2 early access offers three different levels of Supporter Packs to meet the needs and budgets of different players. These packages are:
PoE 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to PoE, introducing many new stories, exploration areas, and core game mechanics. Although there are connections between PoE and PoE, PoE 2 is designed to be a completely new game that runs on its own client. In addition, according to the official information released on Steam platform, PoE 2 is expected to require at least 100GB of storage space.
PoE 2 has three acts and a rudimentary endgame. For most players, it is expected to take dozens of hours to complete all of this content. However, during Early Access cycle, the development team also plans to add more additional content to enrich the gaming experience. This means that there may be new quests, characters, or features that will be released after the official release.
PoE 2 plans to launch 12 different classes for players to unlock using Path Of Exile 2 Currency. However, in the upcoming Early Access, only 6 of them will be open for players to try. The six initially available classes are: Mercenary, Monk, Ranger, Sorceress, Warrior, and Witch.
Since PoE 2 was first announced, Grinding Gear Games has released a series of trailers and gameplay videos, providing players with a lot of information about the game. Recently, the studio released a new trailer showing the opening animation of PoE 2. In addition, Grinding Gear Games has released multiple other videos that detail the gameplay and mechanics of PoE 2.

I don’t know if you have noticed that although Monopoly Go launches new events almost every day, each new event has its own unique theme and corresponding promotional pictures. This week’s Snack Snatch is no exception!
Snack Snatch event will bring you a sweet season in the cold winter, and you can indulge your sweet tooth through the theme of this event. In addition, you will still be able to accumulate Monopoly Go Dice required for playing the game as in the past!
In order to help you get all the event rewards as soon as possible, we will introduce you to the precautions for playing Snack Snatch.
As one of the classic tournament events, Snack Snatch event has officially started at 3 pm EST on December 3 and will last until 1 pm EST on December 4. Compared with some events that last for two days, its opening time is not long, so you need to seize the time!
Of course, you still need to work hard to accumulate event points to complete the 40 milestones in Snack Snatch event, and take away the generous rewards corresponding to these milestones. It is worth noting that this Monopoly Go Snack Snatch reward list not only includes more than 10,000 free dice rolls but also sticker packs that may even provide you with the last help before Marvel Go sticker album collection ends. Don’t miss it.
There is no doubt that points are the basis for playing tournament-type events. And if you want to get points in Snack Snatch event quickly, then first you need to keep moving forward on the board with enough Monopoly Go Dice, while landing on four railway tiles as much as possible.
These special tiles will give you some mini-games to play, and will give you different amounts of Snack Snatch event points depending on the outcome of the game:
Shutdown Point Rewards:
Bank Heist Point Rewards:
As you can see, the better you do at the game, the more points you get. So make sure you take every mini-game seriously. Also, if you have enough dice rolls on hand and you’re almost done with your Marvel Go sticker album, you might want to consider increasing the dice roll multiplier! Your Snack Snatch score will also be multiplied by this number, allowing you to gain leaderboard points faster.
To help you complete your Marvel Go sticker album, Snack Snatch Tournament is one of your last chances to collect. Snack Snatch can help you get some extra sticker packs again, as well as a lot of Monopoly Go Dice, some flash event triggers, and a lot of cash rewards.
Additionally, since this week’s Peg-E Sticker Drop event will begin shortly after Snack Snatch tournament, you can also get a ton of free Peg-E Sticker Drop tokens as rewards in Snack Snatch. The last time Peg-E tokens appear in all Snack Snatch milestones is at milestone 30, so be sure to complete as many high-level milestones as possible.
Milestone 1-10
Milestone 11-20
Milestone 21-30
Milestone 31-40
If you want to make more cash in Monopoly Go, we recommend working on building up your net worth so that when you win cash prizes in Snack Snatch or other events, you’ll be able to get more cash than in the past!
So, can’t wait to start experiencing this Snack Snatch event? Then don’t hesitate, log in to Monopoly Go and participate!
I do love a good Halloween shindig...
Considering MapleStory 2 quickly found its way onto Steam's most-played-games list (as judged by concurrent user counts), it's no surprise to hear that the free-to-play MMORPG has now passed one million players a week after launch. According to Nexon, "the game continues to increase its servers, especially the Oceania server, where the player population continues to exceed expectations."
Along with a Halloween event which runs until November 8 with a themed quest and items, MapleStory 2 is giving out celebratory gifts. If you're on the fence, this is a particularly good time to start.
As for the one-million-player celebration, it's a dungeon bonus and a separate gift for max-level players.
Double Dungeon Drop Event
Weekend Giveaway Event
Will folks stick with MapleStory 2 long-term? That's the real question. Right now, it has this inherent curiosity factor going for it as the fresh-faced sequel to a decade-and-a-half-old game. You playin'?

Apart from your coins, Merets are another way to pay for the other goodies in the game. Here’s what Red Merets are and what they do in MapleStory 2.
If you’ve been playing plenty of MapleStory 2, chances are, you’ve probably come across items that require a different type of currency. Instead of using your normal cash, they require blue or red items called Merets.
These items pretty much act as the premium currency in MapleStory 2, with there being both Blue and Red Merets. You can use them to buy cosmetic items from the Meret Market or change hairstyles, among other things.
Unlike with Blue Merets, you can’t actually buy Red Merets in MapleStory 2. Since these are the unpaid version of Merets, there are only a few ways to get them.
Firstly, you can get them through login rewards or events. Sometimes Nexon will run promotions from time to time, giving players some of the currency for free. Just recently, they actually gave away around 600 Red Merets after reaching a launch milestone on Steam.
Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be another way to get them apart from Nexon actually giving them away. If the developers do eventually add another way to get Red Merets in the game, we’ll be sure to update this guide.
For now, the best way to stay on top of Red Meret giveaways is by playing the game every day and checking your mail. Similarly, you can also follow the official MapleStory 2 social media accounts for any upcoming announcements regarding Meret giveaways.
Say you do manage to save up your currency and want to do a bit of shopping. With so many options to choose from, players feel a bit overwhelmed with what to buy with their money.
The best thing you can do with Red Merets is spending them on any cosmetic items you like from the Meret Marketplace. Simply press J to pull up your shopping catalog and scan through all of the different designs to choose from.
If you check the Red Meret shop tab, you can also buy different mounts, from cars to light bulbs. Try buying one ground and aerial mount to start your collection.
And that’s all you need to know about how to get Red Merets in MapleStory 2.

Players of the kid-friendly MMO MapleStory 2 say that the player-created item shop is rife with racism and anime porn. The Maple Story 2 team told Kotaku that they “actively monitor the Design Shop for offensive material as well as have a reporting system,” but also: “Given the volume of the reports, there has been a delay in the review process.”
MapleStory 2 is an MMO full of bright primary colors and adorable player characters. While MapleStory 2 doesn’t have an age rating, the first MapleStory was rated 10+ by the ESRB, and the sequel’s rounded corners and cutesy aesthetic make it appear as if it’s intended to appeal to children, at least in part. In the game, players can make items and upload them to a store where other players can buy them, called the Meret Shop. While the game bans certain words, including “trump” and “porn,” some players have found ways to get around the bans and upload items with political slogans or sexual references.
The MapleStory 2 team described the process in its full statement to Kotaku:
“All the items under the ‘Design Shop’ are created by players, not Nexon. Our policy is to let players create, but we review and ban players and content based on ToS and reports of offensive content.
We actively monitor the Design Shop for offensive material as well as have a reporting system so that players can report content they find offensive through built-in tools. Based on the report, we tightly review every single item and remove the item from the shop, and from the inventory of the players who purchased, and ban player accounts. Content containing sexual, racist, hateful or other inappropriate items are flagged higher in priority for removal. Players who post offensive items or images are subject to being banned permanently from the game. We have been acting very quickly and ask that whenever players see those items in the shop to report immediately using the report button.
Given the volume of the reports, there has been a delay in the review process. We are trying our best to continue to reduce the gap and speed up the response time to make a better game and maintain a respectful community.”
At the time of this writing, players have definitely found ways around the ban of the word “trump,” for example. If you search “MAGA” in the Meret Market, you will immediately find a vehicle with President Trump’s face on it, as well as an image of “NPC Wojak,” a reference to the dehumanizing NPC meme. While some players clearly want to share their political opinions, others just want to get sex-related content in there. Searching “hub,” for example, yields clothing items with a riff on the PornHub logo. Other players are less subtle: wearing “waifu” will show you pornographic images of anime characters.More worrying are the explicit references to white supremacy. Searching for “pride” in the Meret Market yields gay and trans-pride-themed items, but you’ll also be able to find a shirt that says “Proud To Be White,” with the tag “WhitePower.”One player who wished to remain anonymous told Kotaku that they have seen items like this on the Meret Market since the game’s official launch on October 10. “It’s really overt,” they said. “People will advertise in world chat channels to buy their new items, and it's often a MAGA hat or something. And the players putting these designs up for sale are rewarded with game currency.” On the MapleStory 2 subreddit, players have shared images of characters wearing Trump masks and MAGA hats as far back as three months ago.
This player told Kotaku that they’d tried reporting the items, but nothing had happened. “The same items are still up for sale. You still see them all over,” they said. “They might have people working on it, but I’ve seen absolutely no change in anything. Items put up for sale don’t have to be approved, so people can put up anything.”
It’s not clear who is making and downloading these items. They might be trolls looking to get a rise of people online. They might also be real white supremacists trying to recruit people, as some have claimed to have done in other online games. No matter what, it’s disturbing than an impressionable kid could find white supremacist content in a chipper-looking game just by searching for the word “proud,” and hopefully MapleStory 2's developers will succeed in their stated efforts to “speed up the response time” to players’ reports.

In Maple Story 2 you are able to customize your character in a variety of ways. You are able to buy clothing items from the cash shop as well as chat bubble customization items and badges that change your name tag background. If buying an outfit does not fit your mood, you can take those merits and customize your own outfit via their Maple Workshop. It is, of course, recommend you have some knowledge of using a creative program to customize the templates. Not only can you customize your clothes you can customize mounts as well. There are a number of mounts you can buy templates for and customize.
To add to the customization you can also customize your home. There are a number of blocks to use to customize and most are free. If none of those is to your fancy, like with clothes and mounts, you can buy block templates and customize those. MapleStory 2 offers a variety of ways to make yourself as unique as possible. If you want to make some merits back, you can take your cool designs and put them up for sale on the Design Shop in-game. It takes merits to post the item to sell and there is no guarantee people will want to buy it, but it is worth a shot.
I've already spoken about the levelling experience and how you can level to 50 in about two days. Now with the cap increasing to 60, it takes a bit longer than two days to get to the cap. After you hit level 50 the levelling slows a great deal.
If you are not rushing to hit max, know there are a bunch of mini-games you can do in between questing and levelling. These minigames will pop up on the side of the screen from time to time. Each offers experience and Mesos as a reward. If you are able to make it to last round you are given a Kay Coin which can be used in Queenstown at the spin wheel for prizes. If you would like to know the type of minigames check out the Maple Story 2 site for in-depth details on them as there are many.
Another thing to do in between levelling is playing music and fishing. Both activities give you experience points and can be seen as an alternate way to level your character. If you do not want to stick around at the computer to manually do these activities, it is possible to put them on auto mode using either a voucher or by paying merits. I found this to be a great way to level a character overnight or while I'm doing other work.
As with most MMOs, this game has to craft. At the moment there are limitations on how many materials can be gathered at one time. You reach the limit when it says "impossible" and then must wait for it to refresh. As far as the kinds of crafting there are Smithing, Handicrafts, Alchemy, and Cooking. Each has a specific type of gathering to pair with it. The gathering types are Mining, Foraging, Ranching, and Farming. Ranching goes with handicrafts and farming with cooking.
For the most part, these crafting trees lead to unlocking costume parts and housing items by ranking them up. The player can craft items to increase gains for different gathering or crafting. They are also able to make items that provide temporary buffs. In the later levels of crafting players are able to make some weapons though they may not be as strong as what you can acquire from a dungeon.
One way to get some use out of the crafting is to hire an assistant. In the housing, players are able to hire NPC assistants which have crafting skills and ranks. Higher ranking assistants cost merits. Assistants have an initial merit cost, then, in order to keep the assistant, you have to pay a monthly fee. These assistants are able to craft different items for the player.
As you can see there are many things to do outside of the general questing and levelling. Each area on the map has an area quest list of things to do. Completing these awards you stars which goes towards unlocking rewards in the map view. Opening this map view, you will see areas marked with red sword icons. I'm sure you can guess what this means: You guessed it, PvP areas do exist.
I have hopped in and out of those areas but most times I've found them to be empty or people just going there for a quest but not looking for a fight. If PvP is your type of thing you can do it in those areas. These areas do have shelters a player can go to when they want to avoid or take a break from that PvP life. Currently, the PVP Arena is not in as developers are working out gear and such for that. It is slated to be reactivated in early December.
You will also see on the map menu red monster icons. These appear when there are world boss monsters appearing in an area. These monsters are typically tough and can take very long to solo. Most of these types of boss monsters have over 20 million HP at higher level areas which shows they are meant to be taken on by more than one person. There is one problem that many people have faced when fighting some of these for daily quests. There is, however, a huge amount of lag that comes from having so many players in one area attacking the same monster. If possible to get a group of people and go to a less populated channel but that can be hard at times especially if you are a solo or not in a guild.
Guilds are also in Maple Story 2. Guilds get to have a guild home area. In this area, you can add shops, assistants and get guild quests. As a leader, you can also activate guild buffs. As your guild levels and ranks up, you are able to purchase different looks for your group home. It takes an enormous amount of Mesos in order to do this, however. It is worth it in the end to have an area that might fit with your guild’s theme if it has one.
There is a battle royale mode in Maple Story 2 called Mushking Royale. As it is with other BR titles, this has seasons though at the moment it is still not active. From my experience in the closed beta, you will start by floating in a big air balloon jumping out over a large map. You can find items to pick up and throw at other players as well as battle monsters in the field for item drops to use. There are towers located around the map which will sound off when a player is near. This mode has some fun to it but can take a little getting used to since you do not use your everyday class skills.
With all that this game has come to offer I have found my fun in it. I understand the cutesy depiction of it may be a turn off for some who like realistic or more cartoon-like graphics that are not heavily anime-influenced but do not let that fool you. MapleStory 2 offers great dungeons, amazing boss fights, good class diversity and so far a pretty decent story. I know the story stops short of getting to a culmination of everything but if you've played the first MapleStory or any MMO you know this is par the course. Stories develop over time and so does gameplay.
Right now having reached the current max level of 60, I am enjoying just playing around. I spend most of my time doing dailies to save up different currencies for mounts. As well as completing daily missions in hopes to get voucher pieces to make templates to sell in my design shop. At the moment this is the endgame until the next content update. If you really want to see it at its most challenging get to level 50 and run some of the hard adventures for the first time. I recommend the Balrog fight, Temple of Immortals. Whereas it can be tough for me to the point of yelling obscenities, I really enjoy the experience.
I'm hoping since Nova's popped up recently in the story that maybe somewhere down the road we will get a Kaiser class in this. It is my favourite from MapleStory. I am looking forward to the future activities to be had in Maple Story 2. Also, the recent update that was posted October 16th, they are working on new weapon templates. I’m so excited about this because I’ll be able to make something for my Heavy Gunner that is better than a box.
Is MapleStory 2 worth getting into right now? Yes, it is. There is an awesome event going on, Mapleoply, where you play a version of monopoly that has various rewards on the board. One being "Roto Air Taxi" walkies that allow you to take a free helicopter ride to any map. No better time than now at the launch of an MMO to just level and have fun then when there are a bunch of people around to do dungeons with. If you can find a class you enjoy playing or something you enjoy doing give it a try for that.

Nexon’s MapleStory 2 has already attracted a huge number of players. The publisher confirmed that more than 1 million people downloaded the game through Steam and the Nexon launcher since its launch last week. That makes it one of the more popular massively multiplayer online games on Steam.
MapleStory 2 is the followup to one of the first free-to-play MMO megahits. The sequel gives players even more control over their characters. It also has a modern character-progression system and tools to build the world however you want. And those efforts have paid off through the huge download numbers as well as the “mostly positive” user reviews on Steam.
On the Steam stat’s page, MapleStory 2 is among the top 10 most played games right now. It had a peak concurrent player number of 33,200 today, which doesn’t include players using the Nexon Launcher. Right now, it is the No. 9 most-played game with 30,800 players. That puts it ahead of Grand Theft Auto V and just behind Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege and Rust.
Nexon says that it is adding more capacity to keep up with the influx of players. The publisher notes that it is doing extra work to add support for people in the Oceania region that includes Australia, Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia.
“Due to its rapid growth, the game continues to increase its servers,” reads a Nexon press release. “Especially for the Oceania server, where the player population continues to exceed expectations.”
It may have taken just a week, but that isn’t going to stop Nexon from celebrating. The publisher is preparing an in-game event to highlight its first massive milestone.
Beginning Friday, October 19, MapleStory 2 is getting a “Double Bonus Item Drop Event.” This will enable players to earn twice as many bonus items from completing dungeons. And a “Special Weekend Login Event” gives players a chance to earn special items for signing into the game throughout the weekend.
Of course, we’re heading deep into the month of October, which means it’s time for Halloween events. And MapleStory 2 isn’t going to miss out on the fun.
The Halloween event is live now. It gives players a chance to go on spooky quests in haunted dungeons. These include a murder mystery at the Mon Bloody Chouchou Hotel. Naturally, you can also earn themed items.
MapleStory? More like PumpkinStory! I’m sorry. That’s the best I have right now.
