At the intersection of the old and new years, FC 25 has recently launched a number of promotions to provide you with a better gaming experience. But among all EA FC 25 promotions, TOTY is undoubtedly the grandest and most popular.
This event is dedicated to rating all playable FUT 25 players in a year and selecting the best performing football players, so that you can use your FIFA 25 Coins in the future game to exchange for players that are both suitable for your game style and strong enough to help you win the game as much as possible.
Based on this, we will introduce you to how to participate in the promotion and a list of some nominated players.
As the biggest annual promotion of EA Sports FC 25, the team of the year (TOTY) aims to select the most influential and outstanding players in the game based on ratings and statistics, allowing them to shine and more prominently enter your player shortlist.
TOTY mechanics are the same as in previous versions of the game, where you can vote for 11 outstanding players from both the men’s and women’s teams. These selected players can then be included in the game as TOTY Player Items, giving them their own FC 25 commemorative value.
The game is expected to release attackers and TOTY Icons Team 1 on Friday, January 17, 2025. And the following contents will be announced in sequence gradually:

To vote, you first need to know that the event officially started on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, and will last until 11:59 pm PST on January 12, 2025. During this period, you can enter EA Sports FC TOTY website to vote. But remember, only votes sent during this time will be valid. TOTY promotion will allow you and other players to select two teams of 11 players each, with the winners then entering the game as TOTY Player Items. Each item will not only receive a unique blue design and gold accents, but will also significantly improve the corresponding player’s in-game stats and ratings, making them the best FUT 25 players you can choose.
It is worth noting that EA Sports FC 25 will also provide an additional 12th player alternative position for each of these two teams to recognize outstanding players who did not make the starting lineup, and this voting is usually held at the end of TOTY promotion. What is the most classic MMORPG in the world? That’s right, it’s World of Warcraft. WOW has become the best MMORPG among all gamers, with its exquisite plot, rich races and gameplay, and a very vast map. But now there is a game that challenges it. It is The Quinfall developed by Vawraek Technology.
The Quinfall is said to have the largest map area in the game. The official data is 2016 square kilometers. Players may not have any idea about this, so you can compare it with other games:
In other words, the map area of The Quinfall alone is equivalent to 10 Azeroth continents! Players must run their legs off in this game.
However, the company that made this game is neither Ubisoft nor EA, which are good at making open world canned games, nor Microsoft or Sony, but an unknown Vawraek Technology. Have you heard of it? Maybe not, because this company comes from romantic Turkey.
Players seem to have never heard of any famous game companies in Turkey, and this is actually true. Turkey is indeed well-known in the game industry, and to some extent, this place can be called a “game desert.” However, just like an oasis in the desert. Turkey has a long history and strong strength, and this country must have the strength to create a game.
In fact, The Quinfall is not the first work of Vawraek Technology. They were developing a game called Kayra Online in 2019, but this game was terminated in 2021, and they started to develop The Quinfall almost immediately.
Their development speed is amazing. In the third year of development, they announced that they would sell it on Steam. However, for various reasons, it has now been postponed to January 25, 2025.
Maybe people who know a little about the game feel that Vawraek Technology seems a bit unreliable. They think The Quinfall may be another The Day Before. However, this time, Vawraek Technology seems to be doing something real for the players.
Despite the one-year delay, it is not that nothing has been done. The Quinfall not only released a trailer but also conducted alpha testing, extensions and beta testing. And they finally decided to release the first-hand experience in January 2025. This sounds a lot more reliable, and they finally did not run away.
Although the game has not yet been launched, players can see what kind of game it is from the videos and early tests it released.
According to the official description, this game not only has a super large map, but players can also explore in five areas with different climates.
Quinfall is very bold in the design of the economic system. Players can not only create caravans but also rob other players’ caravans. At the same time, players can also put their own goods on the shelves in the store, and even open their own stores. Quinfall has designed a very real economic system for players, so that you can also earn Gold very realistically in the game.
In terms of story, players will explore the influence of many gods such as Pelyonas, Greis and Kreas, the dragon gods, on the universe, uncover the deep background stories of dozens of main characters, or observe the daily life of other characters in the kingdom, and find the secret of the cursed crown that changed the fate of Quinfall. Just from the story framework, the text volume of this game will not be too small.
There are also ten professions in the game, each of which is mainly divided by the weapons used, and each profession has two sub-professions. If players are tired of fighting monsters, they can also earn some Quinfall Gold Coins for themselves through fishing, breeding, hunting, etc.
In terms of combat, the scenes where players can fight are not limited to land, but can even fight in the sky and on the sea. What’s more interesting is the world boss crusade and the huge online dungeon for hundreds of players.
Not all players have confidence in it, because the art materials in its previous demonstration are a bit cheap and the actions seem to lack some polish. The most important thing is that Quinfall has such a large map. If the content cannot be filled well, the game will become very empty and boring.
However, the specific content will have to wait until it is actually launched to see its true level. The good news is that it is a free MMORPG, and players at least don’t have to worry about suffering the loss of The Day Before again. It will be officially launched soon, and interested players can try to be the first batch of players to enter the game.
There are several ways to make Gil in FFXIV. Quests, crafting, farming and playing the market board.
Questing- This will get you quite a bit of Gil and progress the story along the way. Just the main scenario quest will net you a lot of Gil but will consume most of the time you have in the game up until end game. This will be your main source of Gil until you're able to do one of the things listed later. Side quests and level quests give a smaller amount but do give you something.
Crafting- The bread and butter of serious Gil makers. People who take the time and Gil to invest in a crafter are THE richest in all of Korea. I won't lie to you, they put a lot of time, effort and Gil into this. Trust me when I say that this will pay dividends later in the game. HQ items and gear are fantastic early end game gear. If you're serious about making Gil in FFXIV you'll want a crafter.
Farming - Where do you think the crafters get their materials? Probably from farming it themselves. However, those who don't have the time or the patience to do it will buy it all on the market board or from their FC. Don't misunderstand, it is probably one of the easiest ways to make Gil. Just takes time.
Playing the market board - Ok a quote is best suited for this one. “Gotta spend money to make money". The premise is you gotta find the item that is selling quickly for the least amount of FFXIV Gil. Buy the item and then sell for a higher amount. If someone has undercut the next highest item by a lot, then they either misclicked or didn't check the price of everything before the put it in the market board. Either way, your gain. A fair bit of warning. You can seriously mess up the economy of your server if you do this wrong. Granted that's if a lot of people are doing this method wrong.
Bonus - keep an eye out for what materials are needed in the next major patch/ expansion. Those will be the items in most demand and able to get you the richest.
Poe Currency is not a fixed currency in the game, but a general term for all currencies that can be traded with each other in Path of Exile around a large amount of items, scrolls and orbs, such as Exalted Orbs and Chaos Orbs, which are undoubtedly played an important role in the game. For a lot of people, MapleStory was their first MMO adventure. It was free to download and play and depending on how old you were, had an anime aesthetic that appealed. Now that we have grown up and tried other games, MapleStory 2 is on the scene.
As Korean game studio Nexon continues to grow, so too does their ambition and direction for MapleStory 2. It’s a big, wide 3D world out there packed to the brim with assorted quests and tasks for players to complete.
It really seems that this is an MMO that you can play your own way. With XP and character advancement available through a variety of means, you aren’t forced to play any single way.
I was fortunate enough to have a brief catch up via messenger for a chat with Miyoung Oh, MapleStory 2’s Lead Game Designer to ask a few questions about their vision for the game and major changes from the original MapleStory title.
PowerUp! – Whilst the MapleWorld 2 feels the same, the change from a 2D side-scrolling game to a 3D world is a big change. Was this always your vision for MapleStory?
Lead Game Designer, Miyoung Oh – There are many things that can be distinct features from MapleStory, but we wanted to further develop character customization as we thought of the sequel.
We wanted to try out various things that can only be done in 3D because there’s a limit to character customization in 2D; Maple Workshop, various dance emotes, hairstyles and hats where you can change the position or length, etc. Once we decided on it, changing it to 3D was decided immediately.
PowerUp! – The housing is an exciting feature of MapleStory 2. What made you implement it and what plans do you have to attract players to build their own houses?
Lead Game Designer, Miyoung Oh – Since the map itself is in block form, map creation was very easy for the planners and other members working on maps, not just for designers.
Then we thought this would be easy and fun for players as well and they should try it out since it’s made up of blocks. We are in talks with Nexon America about amazing ideas on how to develop the housing content further. Please look forward to it as it will be revealed at the right time.
PowerUp! – Any plans to add class changing in the future? For those of us who can’t make up our minds.
Lead Game Designer, Miyoung Oh – There are no plans yet. Since you can gain experience and level up through various ways in MapleStory 2, we recommend that players create a secondary character.
PowerUp! – The professions were fun content in MapleStory, but it was hard for new players to level up anything other than gathering. What’s the plan to make professions more important in MapleStory 2?
Lead Game Designer, Miyoung Oh – MapleStory 2 has four types of gathering life skills and four types of craft life skills.
With enough playtime, anyone can reach maximum life skill levels which allow players to make various items through crafting. Once you reach Rank 5 of certain life skills (foraging, alchemy), you can visit new regions like Alkimi Island/Berg Island. The life skill system is also tied with housing where you can visit other player’s houses to aid in ranching and farming activities.
We’re always researching to find new ways to build ties between existing content and life skills in organic ways and will continue this direction.
PowerUp! – We are glad to see the arena back in MapleStory 2, is PvP here to stay? Is there any chance we could get Team Arena Battles? Such as 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4?
Lead Game Designer, Miyoung Oh – It was a very difficult task for the dev team to balance both PvE and PvP at the same time. We wanted to carefully review the addition of Maple Arena. Additional things on Maple Arena will be revealed soon.
We will think of many things to make this as enjoyable as possible for the players. There are no plans to add modes such as 2v2 yet.
As games keep moving in a micro-transaction direction, MapleStory 2 is no exception. Whilst the purchases seem to be purely cosmetic at this point in time, it would be foolish to assume that gear and XP boosts aren’t a possibility.
Nexon has cut some of the ‘pay-to-win’ features in the Global release, understanding that the cultural difference in the western market doesn’t look favorably on these features. So far the only in-game bonuses outside of cosmetics seem to be utility and convenience pieces such as quick travel items.
Interestingly there is a marketplace where players can sell gear for real-world cash, that gives cash-shop currency to the seller. A bold concept and not one that Blizzard could make work with Diablo 3, so I’m keen to see how Nexon makes it work.
If you can get past the cutesy bobble-head weeaboo aesthetic then MapleStory 2 is a pretty decent RPG at its core. With an overwhelmingly positive review on the steam store, it appears that players have taken to the new 3D direction as well as mechanics rather well.
How long will it last in the face of new upcoming content for goliath MMORPG World of Warcraft? Well, we will see. For now, it appears both fans and new recruits are thoroughly enjoying the MapleStory 2.

[Updated November 16 at 6:45 PM PST] We were able to make an additional fix for players who have stuck in the Maple Alliance Outpost due to trying to exit the portal that would take you back to the Maple Alliance Outpost. If you are caught in this state you should be able to use the portal and be able to exit to Henesys.
