Are The Expensive PS5 Pro Enhanced Features Worth It For Diablo 4 DLC Fans?

Diablo 4 has become the first Microsoft game confirmed to support Sony’s PlayStation 5 Pro “Pro Enhanced Features”, marking an important collaboration between the two major gaming platforms.

Although PlayStation 5 Pro has been controversial since its release because of its high price of $700, many users who have already obtained it have experienced significant performance improvements and believe that the investment is worth it.

With the news that Diablo 4 has been enhanced on PlayStation 5 Pro, more players have begun to show great interest in this mid-range console. Although Sony fans are not completely satisfied with the launch of PlayStation 5 Pro, it does not mean that fans will not appreciate the enhanced graphics provided by Diablo 4 in Sanctuary.

Diablo senior Vice President and General Manager Rod Fergusson posted a post on the social media platform, which attracted widespread attention. Fergusson said in the post: “I have been asked this question frequently recently, and I am happy to say that Diablo 4 and Vessel of Hatred will indeed get PS5 Pro Enhanced!” This news undoubtedly made many players excited.

And according to his post, more details will be revealed later, but many fans are eager to know the exact release date. This article will provide a detailed introduction to the console’s enhanced features when playing Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 Is Coming To PS5 Pro

While “Pro Enhanced Features” have not been officially implemented in the game as of now, they are expected to be added to the game through an upcoming patch update. The official PSN store page has announced that the game will support “Pro Enhanced”, however, there are reports that in some cases, when players enable this setting, performance has actually decreased.

When players visit Diablo 4 page on the official PlayStation Store, you will see that the game description claims to support “PS5 Pro Enhanced”.

However, most players who recently obtained a PlayStation 5 Pro and tried the enhanced mode reported that when they enabled the so-called “Enhanced Pro” setting, not only did they not experience the expected performance increase, but they also found that the frame rate dropped to around 30fps.

This situation is in stark contrast to the official propaganda, leading many players to suspect that the developer may not have completed the work on “PS5 Pro Enhanced”, but used this part as a placeholder, planning to actually implement it as an update patch in the future.

Despite some controversy, many players have pointed out that the performance and graphics performance of Diablo 4 have indeed improved when running it in normal mode. These players reported that in normal mode, the game’s frame rate can be stabilized at around 60fps, and the quality of details and textures in the game has also been significantly improved, making completing challenges and accumulating Diablo 4 Gold much more enjoyable.

The development team previously promised that the game will introduce a series of advanced image processing technologies on the PS5 Pro, including “dynamic reflection and refraction” and AI-powered image upscaler to further enhance the visual effects. In addition, some players are dissatisfied with Xbox platform being ignored, and they also hope to see optimized versions of these games on Xbox Series X.

Sony Fans Are Not Favoring PlayStation 5 Pro

With several existing games like Hogwarts Legacy and Last of Us Part 2 being enhanced for PlayStation 5 Pro, players are excited about the addition of new content. However, despite the enhanced features that bring more gaming experience, the high price still makes fans unhappy. Considering that the cost of PlayStation 5 Pro may be as high as $700, this dissatisfaction is not surprising.

Here, the development team announced that PS5 Pro enhancements will be launched for Diablo 4. Although it is not clear what specific improvements this enhancement will bring, considering the reputation of Diablo 4 development team in game development, many players may be inclined to get it.

Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred was officially launched on October 8. However, players are not sure whether this marks the beginning of Microsoft’s games gradually being supported by Sony’s high-end game console. But for me personally, I am very much looking forward to seeing more games enhanced for PS5 Pro.

I like to play games with friends who have upgraded or plan to upgrade, so I think this will be an excellent opportunity to experience a higher quality gaming experience.

However, only time will tell whether more existing games will come to PlayStation 5 Pro. Although the high price is a factor to consider, whether it is worth getting it ultimately depends on players’ preferences for games and their needs for PS5 Pro.

As more details about “Pro Enhanced Features” are gradually released, players will better evaluate whether this enhancement is worth your time and money. Regardless of the final result, this collaboration between Microsoft and Sony marks a major step forward for the gaming industry. For those of us who love games, this is an exciting time, full of endless possibilities and opportunities to explore.

Are You Ready For FFXIV’s New Raid Series Echoes Of Vana’diel? - Tips For Playing The First Part

After the launch of the new expansion Dawntrail in July, FFXIV has clearly made a new wave of MMO game enthusiasm. Although the popularity of FFXIV Dawntrail has declined because of the launch of new seasons or new DLCs in many games on the market later, the recent updates have undoubtedly given it new vitality.

In the latest 7.1 Crossroads update, besides some relatively fragmented gameplay updates, the most eye-catching new content added by Final Fantasy 14 for Dawntrail is the new raid activities.

These raid activities are usually large in content and complex in mechanism. Players need to team up and fight as multiplayer teams to complete them. It is precisely because these activities are difficult that the rewards they offer are very generous. Even if you don’t contribute much to the team, you can still get a considerable amount of FFXIV Gil.

In the alliance raid, Echoes of Vana’diel added after this update, if players want to play it in a team, they need to meet fixed conditions to unlock them before they can start playing. So this time we will introduce the specific method of playing this raid. Are You Ready For FFXIV’s New Raid Series Echoes Of Vana’diel? - Tips For Playing The First Part

How To Unlock Jeuno: The First Walk?

Jeuno: The First Walk is actually the first part of Dawntrail Echoes of Vana’diel Alliance raid, which was added to the game after this update. It is said that the second and third parts will be added in the new update.

In Jeuno: The First Walk, the participating players will be divided into three groups of eight people each. However, before entering Echoes of Vana’diel, players must complete some tasks to unlock this first part of it in order to fully experience the entire event.

First, you need to reach level 100 in any war or magician class and complete Dawntrail MSQ, and your item level needs to reach 695. After meeting these conditions, you have a ticket to enter the new raid, but before that, you still need to go to Tuliyollal.

Once you reach Aetheryte of Tuliyollal, you’ll find a Hoobigo Messenger near the coordinates (13, 11.5) giving you a quest called An Otherworldly Encounter. Hoobigo Messenger will then ask you to go to Mamook and talk to Miilal Ja, so that’s your next destination.

Miilal Ja is located west of Mamook Aetheryte, and once you find her, she’ll tell you that she and her companions have found a strange Elezen who keeps blabbering about something they don’t understand, so Miilal Ja wants you to help them figure out what Elezen is talking about.

Elezen doesn’t remember his name, or how he was found by Mamook. But rather than trying to understand him, you should first find Bakool Ja Ja and talk to him. After that, you only have to go through a few more cutscenes and dialogues before you’ll be notified that Jeuno: The First Walk is available. That’s actually the name of the first part of Echoes of Vana’diel.

After completing Jeuno: The First Walk raid, you will continue to advance the story of Echoes of Vana’diel and unlock all the rewards you can get.

What Does Echoes Of Vana’diel Raid Bring To Players?

Prior to the release of Patch 7.2, loot in Jeuno: The First Walk raid was limited. You could only pick up one piece of equipment in the event each week, and it reset time coincided with the weekly reset time.

Currently, all loot available in this raid includes items such as armor sets and the tattered sheet music. The armor set is also known as Ark Angel armor.

If you get the tattered sheet music from the treasure chest and the dice roll is lucky, you can trade it with specific Goblin NPCs in Lower Jeuno to exchange it for Echoes of Vana’diel orchestrion rolls, a Nano Lord minion, and a Nano Lord Triple Triad card. It is worth noting that there is no limit to the drop of the tattered sheet music.

Additionally, when you complete Aglaia once a week in Echoes of Vana’diel, you’ll also receive Ordelle Coins. You can exchange them for Surgelight Twine and Surgelight Glaze to augment your Quetzalli tomestone gear. Just find Uah’shepya in Solution Nine and trade with her with Ordelle Coins. Or you can trade the rope and glaze you get to Hhihwi. He’s also an NPC vendor.

In the future, if FF14 continues to follow the previous expansion plan, we expect Echoes of Vana’diel Alliance raid series to have two more raids. One may be launched with patch 7.3 and the other may be launched with patch 7.5. But no matter when the latter raid activities are launched, you should try to complete the first part, Jeuno: The First Walk. This will not only help you accumulate game materials but also prepare for the new activities.

If you have figured out how to play Jeuno: The First Walk in Echoes of Vana’diel series through our introduction, then log in and start your new adventure! Have fun!
