The Bow Master is an amazing ranged class that pelts enemies with arrows from afar in MapleStory M. Most of their skills rely on evasion along with some elemental and debuffing shots, making them a sneaky and deadly fighter. If you’re looking for some tips on how to build your Bow Master, Ayumilove has shared a useful build you can use as a reference in MapleStory M.
When you start out as a Bow Master in MapleStory M, you want to leave both Archer Mastery and Arrow Blow at level 1. From there, go ahead and max out Double Jump, Archer Mastery, Arrow Blow, and then Critical Shot. When you finally unlock the second-tier Bow Master skills, raise Arrow Bomb, Soul Arrow: Bow, and Covering Fire to level one. Next, max out Bow Mastery, Soul Arrow: Bow, and Physical Training. Raise Bow Booster to level 6, Arrow Bomb to 19, then proceed to max Final Attack: Bow, Covering Fire, and Bow Booster.
For the next set of Bow Master skills in MapleStory M, you want to start by bringing Schutike Eisen, Arrow Blaster, Roasting Shot, and Phoenix to level one. From there, max out Extreme Archery: Bow and Marksmanship before leveling Roasting Shot to 14. Finally, max out Phoenix, Schutike Eisen, Arrow Blaster, Mortal Blow, Evasion Boost, and Concentration in MapleStory M.
Finally, for the fourth-tier Bow Master job skills in MapleStory M, raise Arrow Stream, Binding Shot, Hurricane, Enchanted Quiver to level 1. Then, just max out the following skills in order: Enchanted Quiver, Bow Expert, Advanced Final Attack, Arrow Stream, Sharp Eyes, Illusion Step, Hurricane, Armor Break, Binding Shot, Maple Warrior, and Hero Will.
This is a solid Bow Master build for those budding archers out there, but remember that you can also mess around and make your own builds as well.

MapleStory M lets you take the adventures with you on the go, being the very first mobile entry in the series. Players can create their own characters, pick their own classes, and choose which quests they want to play. That being said, you have the option to change how your hero looks in the game, so they aren’t wandering around with generic faces. Here’s how to change your character’s appearance in MapleStory M.
Before you officially start your journey in MapleStory M, you will get to design your very own character. While the options are limited, you can fix how they look and choose from much better options later on in the game. Once you unlock the menu, click on it in the top right corner of the screen. You’ll pull up a list of options, but you want to click the Character tab in the top left side with a helmet marker. Once you click that, another row of tabs will appear below, and from there, you want to click Hair/Plastic Surgery.
You will then be brought over to a new character customization screen in MapleStory M in which you can choose between changing either your hair or your face. You will notice that you have a lot of new styles to choose from, but they will cost you crystals to unlock. These prices vary from 45-95 crystals, so they aren’t that expensive. Do take note, however, that crystals are the game’s premium currency, so you will have to either grind for more or use real money to buy it. Either way, this seems to be the only way to change your appearance in MapleStory M.

What is the difference between KMSM and global version? Some Redditors gave their own answers and judgments on Reddit MapleStory M community regarding a recent thread upon the Korean version' experience. Here are some quotes from this discussion:
"Korean version is so much different from the Global version. Here are some key differences:
Available character classes: Phantom, Luminous, Mercedes, Evan, Aran, Explorers (Including Paladin and Hero), KoC
Equipment classifications: In the trade market, the equip are classified according to levels 10, 20, 40, etc till level 160, ranging from all sorts of weapons to accessories. Characters can only equip the next higher tier equip upon reaching the next level tier (10,20,30,40, etc). For each level tier, there are sub tiers which classifies the equip to normal, rare, epic, unique.
Level cap is 200.
Lots of event dungeons.
Equipment drop rates: I started a new character and even the weakest monsters (blue snails, green snails) drop equipment at quite a high rate.
I feel that the global version basically is a cash cow for Nexon. Korean Maplestory M feels a lot more like the PC version. So many more features..."
So I played Korea Maplestory M from r/MapleStoryM
"This is a normal phase for the Western release of any Korean games. We get behind the updates from Korean version by months or years so that the Western publishers can make enough profit to actually break even or obtain the updates from the developers.
There's this MMO called Black Desert Online, at first launch for the Western players, the updates were average every week and then they pushed the major and important update almost every week now to the point they are like few months only behind the Korean version, and some players are complaining the contents were released to fast for them to actually experienced it beforehand.
So enjoy what you what, try the Korean version if you will. The content will come, it's just a matter of timing and Nexon's decision when they have profiting enough from the game."
Card
"I played KMSM when it first came out, and I don't recall having these armors we have here in the global release, I'm pretty sure they ALWAYS had the regular gear which is leveled at like 10, 20, 30, 40 etc. My nooby mage on KMSM is wearing nooby PC style equips and it's marvelous.
Pretty disappointing because if KMSM never had it then it's not a release we'll get later. Seems like we've gotten a dumbed down version. I really like the PC style equipment system of KMSM.
Extra jobs I'm not fussed about, KMSM didn't have those on launch either.
Making mesos in KMSM is A LOT harder though imo."

MapleStory M is the latest adventure in the series, bringing all the action to your smartphone. Players can create their own avatar and customize their looks, clothes, and overall appearance before setting out on their grand quest. Before heading out on their journey, however, one vital step is picking a job class in the game. There are a total of six classes that each have their own skills and abilities. If you’re wondering what to pick, here is the best class in MapleStory M.
You have the option of choosing one out of the following classes in MapleStory M:
Dark Knight Bow Master Night Lord Bishop CorsairGenerally, the class with the highest attack falls to the Bishop who can blast enemies away with an array of powerful spells. That being said, most of their attacks do rely heavily on MP, so you will be burning through plenty of potions as you make your way through the game. If you aren’t a fan of using spells or wasting your precious potions, you can turn to the Night Lord or the Corsair, as these classes also come with some pretty strong attack power. It’s worth noting that Corsairs are more ranged fighters who use guns, while Night Lords use their claws to get in close to their enemies.
That being said, there isn’t any “wrong” class to pick, and the best class in MapleStory M still falls to your personal preference. There’s hardly a gap between each of their base attack power, and not to mention that you can still enhance their stats through equipment in MapleStory M.

It has been a long time before a mobile game "fever" in the community of Vietnamese gamers. By bringing almost everything from PC to mobile, MapleStory M attracts players like the "Dwarf Mushroom Adventure" day.
Although it's a 2D game, MapleStory M is hardcore, requiring players to persevere, patience, or turn into a "trench coat" that does not get tired all day and night. This is because, in order for the characters to improve their power, MapleStory M players must purchase upgrades and upgrade them continuously. This is the process that consumes so much Mesos (units of money in the game) that only plowing a major acc ... then "a lifetime" brothers also cannot be strong.
However, there is another way, if you have (more) cash then everything will be simpler, just load and rotate the diamond chassis will have the probability of the Legend - green (near the bottom) in the game. Estimated to own a full set of green, players will have to pour in 10 - 20 million VND, even more than several times if black enough. This is definitely the amount that most of the brothers do not want to spend (or not eligible).
Therefore, players who do not want to spend a penny still own the strongest rank Mythic - red. In return, you have to plow non-stop. Here is a share of a Vietnamese "plow", he owned the red along with full set of green, estimated over 20 million.
This "secret" is the plowing Pham Duc Minh as follows:MYTHIC ROYAL GOLF COURSE FOR FREE PLAY
After getting some Legend by plowing the common acc, I share some experience with F2P brothers:
- For maximum 1 item (orange) needs 1040 purple powder, 10.4 million Mesos.
- 1 clone (nickname) level 82 will have 221 purple powder weapons, 172 powder purple armor, 2.8 million Mesos.
- A continuous quest to level 82 takes 9 hours.
=> 4.7 clone level 82 is one max.
- In order to have a Legend, you need 2 items with max + 40 million Mesos.
- Up to 1 Legend needed 3500 Purple Powder + 35 Million Mesos.
=> In order to have a legend requires 9.4 clone level 82 + 60.8 million Mesos.
- To have a Mythic requires 2 Legend max + 90 million Mesos.
= In order to have a Mythic you need to create 50 clones LV 82 + 281 million Mesos.
Each acc lv 82 has 2.8m so you just need to earn 141 million more meshes only.
P / S: If you find plowing 82 lv 9h is a long time, then you have the second option is to plow lv 68 only takes 4h, in return, there are 157 weapons purple powder, 99 purple powder + 1m Meso = > to get 1 unique need 6.6 clones.
You can see the stunned feat of the guy. So to own only a very powerful Mythic, the player had to lose 50 clone x 9 hours = 450 hours. If you do not eat not sleep, only clone plow, you also have to spend ... almost 3 weeks. While MapleStory M new release was 1 month ... the really new attitude "plow" of Vietnamese gamers: D

MapleStory M is the chill multiplayer mobile version of the popular 2D MMORPG, MapleStory. In it, you’ll explore the world’s peaceful isles, level up, make friends, and go on quests with other players. One of the most popular features is pets.
Pets and minions are a pretty common feature in lots of MMORPGs, but in MapleStory M they are a little more interesting. Not only do they follow you around and act all cute, they also serve different purposes in battle such as using your potions for you when your health gets low or picking up items. If you ever played Castle Crashers, they are a little bit similar to that. You can equip them by going to your character screen, and then tapping Pets. From that menu, you can see all the ones you have available to you and swap them in/out for a maximum of three. You can also feed them to level them up using Pet Food which allows them to provide additional buffs to you while exploring the world of MapleStory M.
To get new and different ones, complete quests and some of them may contain pets as a reward. Free daily rewards may also contain pets. Finally, you can also use real-life money to purchase optional ones from MapleStory M’s cash store. From what we can see, these ones from the store don’t appear to be any more/or less powerful than the normal ones you can get, at least not at level 1. They are just cute and are different from the ones you normally would find.
That does it for how to get pets and what they do in MapleStory M. Hopefully you’ll come across lots of cute ones that you like as you play through MapleStory M on your phone or tablet.

Are you one of those folks addicted to the grind? Just can’t stop playing until you’re the very best there is? Is MapleStory M simultaneously love, life, and the potential cause of your death? One of the best barometers of your success is by power leveling your way to the maximum, and obviously, this is both a lot easier (and less traumatizing) if you have a goal in sight. To know when you’ll finally have achieved this, you’ll have one question bouncing around your mind: what in good heavens is the max level cap in MapleStory M?
You’ll be pleased to know that not only is an answer in place, but it’s only recently been raised, meaning that you’ll have a chance to get on it before the huddled masses. As of the update on July 24, the max level cap has been extended to 150. This was in addition to adding a new world, new dungeon, and of course fresh new achievements to correspond with the new max level cap.
Inevitably, the max level cap is due to change again within time, and as MapleStory M’s popularity spreads further and further thanks to its long-awaited launch on mobile platforms, you can expect to see that number raised even further as more people hit the level cap and are desperate for more achievements to chase down.
MapleStory M has a frequent maintenance schedule due to its heavy user base, and it occasionally goes down for unscheduled maintenance, too. Be sure to keep an eye on the social media channels for patch notes afterward to learn of any changes to the level cap. Plus, sometimes you can get sweet in-game items for logging on shortly after maintenance!

It’s one of your most dreaded fears, and now it’s here before your very eyes: “illegal program has been detected”. Not only is it lacking in grammatical elegance – periods are important, guys – but it forbids you from accessing MapleStory M.
So what gives? Why have you been able to access the game perfectly unimpeded, only to have this warning pop up now, of all times? The first thing to realize is that the program detection system isn’t perfect; it will miss things upon launch sometimes, and catch it later on.
The most obvious fix, clearly, is to uninstall any cheat programs that you may have on your device. Anything that is made with the intention of altering or hacking the game should be uninstalled immediately. Otherwise, you run the risk of your account being banned permanently. Note that you do not have to be running these programs during gameplay in order for them to be detected; if the scans detect it, uninstalling is your only option.
The illegal program message is also known to trigger in phones that are rooted or jailbroken. If your phone is second hand and you are unaware of its background, this could potentially be the case, as well.
As a final fix, try reinstalling MapleStory M and relaunching it without any other programs running, even ones that are completely unrelated to hacking. You might have an innocuous app that is somehow triggering the warning.
Failing all of this, your best bet is to get in contact with Nexon directly and report your issue. As MapleStory M is newly launched on mobile, it is bound to have some hiccups here and there, and the best way to prevent this from happening is to inform the developers quickly and politely.
Hopefully, this will help you get back into the fun. For more MapleStory tips and tricks, search Twinfinite.
