BLG And T1 Will Meet In London For 2024 League Of Legends Worlds Final
Among all the MOBA games currently on the market, League Of Legends is undoubtedly the most successful and familiar one to global players. It has received numerous praises for its excellent game Mechanics and Hero Character design.
In addition, League Of Legends also launched a mobile version in 2020: League Of Legends Wild Rift. Compared with traditional gaming platforms, the portability of mobile phones has further broadened the audience of the game, and players can get some Wild Cores to advance the game simply through League Of Legends Wild Rift Top Up.
This not only made the series of games gain popularity again but also attracted more attention to a grand related Event. That is the League Of Legends World Championship. This LOL official Event has been held since 2011 and is now the 14th.
In this year’s competition, two Teams from China and South Korea, BLG (Bilibili Gaming) and T1, defeated their opponents WBG (Weibo Gaming) and Gen. G in their respective Semifinals. Therefore, they were the winners of Semifinals and will start Final competition of the year in London, UK on November 2, 2024.
Before the start of this exciting and tense period of Final, let’s take a look at the wonderful performances of the two Teams in Semifinals.
BLG VS WBG (26 October, 14:00 CEST–Paris)
Before the start of this Semifinal, many players and viewers believed that BLG was the winner for 2024 League Of Legends World Championship Semifinals, and final result proved that their speculation was not groundless.
Bilibili Gaming proved the strength of the Team through three exciting game matches, and Finally defeated WBG and won the ticket to Finals. This is undoubtedly a successful revenge for the failure of 2023 Semifinals.
In this game, WBG, as a strong Team, certainly showed their best performance. But perhaps it was the revenge that gave BLG more motivation, so that they could always catch WBG’s minor mistakes and Fight back.
In the end, all the slight mistakes of WBG made BLG make a powerful blow at Final critical moment and won ultimate victory. But Scores of the two Teams were very close for most of the game, and only in the second half did BLG gradually gain the upper hand.
Because of many confrontations, in fact, the players of WBG and BLG already know each other very well. And this year BLG won two LPL games (League Of Legends Pro League).
The two Teams played three games this summer, and BLG won all of them. In the spring, BLG and WBG only played once during the group stage, and BLG won that game 2:0. In addition, WBG did not qualify for the 2024 Mid-Season Invitational, while BLG entered Finals.
T1 VS Gen. G (27 October, 14:00 CET–Paris)
As two powerful Teams from South Korea, T1 and Gen. G have faced off against each other many times in various League Of Legends Events.
In the past, players who have been following the game will find that T1 usually has a hard time at the beginning of the season and struggles in the Korean League. But if you look at the situation on a global scale, they are unstoppable. Perhaps it is because the strength of all the domestic Teams is very good.
Therefore, if Gen. G wants to defeat T1, it will also mean hard Battles to do so. And for the audience, it means watching many exciting games and having an unprecedented viewing experience!
In this Semifinal, the fourth game was obviously the most exciting. In the first few minutes, the game was already very serious for Gen. G, because they lost two Flashes in Bot Lane, which made the start difficult. T1 started well and Faker took First Blood.
The game was long, but T1 dominated almost the entire game, with Gen. G falling behind by a large margin. Lehends struggled throughout Semifinal and were caught multiple times, and Zeus’ Double Kill was a tremendous boost for T1.
At 20 minutes into this game, the game looked promising for them. Gen. G had to regroup and focus. In the top lane, Gen. G needed to do everything they could to keep the situation stable and get two Kills.
No Team would give up easily at the last moment, and Gen. G was no exception. They tried to Fight until the end, but they were powerless at this point because of the loss of so many advantages before. Although they managed to get some local results, their efforts were not enough for ultimate victory.
In Fourth game, Gen. G closed Gold Gap with an ACE Fight and Destroyed two Turrets. However, T1 was determined not to let this Semifinal drag on to a fifth game. They wanted to winnow, and they did it.
Whether it is BLG vs WBG or T1 vs Gen. G, these are two very exciting games. As the winners of the two duels, BLG and T1 will surely bring more exciting performances to the audience in Finals! Let us look forward to Final game day on November 2!
